Just tried it out myself with a Group 5 Car. You can definately hear the backfire when it occurs. And they seem to occur randomly, not on every single offthrottle, load or shift.
Awesome. Thanks!

Hi
BMW M1 Procar 1981 at Road America circuit, the video has an edition in the introduction and recorded onboard the gopro, hope you like it
May I introduce you Sakitto GPUsing a Dualshock4 controller (new controllersettings provided by SMS today
)
Sorry for the artifacts in advance
Two tires on dirt at :28 and nothing happens???
Good video to see the work being put into the AI being shown off.

It's a known issue and it's being worked on.Was thinking the same. Middle of a high speed turn, full on the gas and a gear change while being about 75% in the dirt and not even a twitch to the car. I really hope the final game is less forgiving or there's a setting for realism somehow.

Awesome video!
One question I have is about the AI braking when you get on their back bumpers. Is that something built in so you can't push them into turns or something?
None.What assists were used?^^^
What if I tell you that I was forseeing my date with the grass and for this reason let the accelerator slip? Ofc grass/gravel should be a bit less forgiving, but its not like griplevel in dirt = 0Two tires on dirt at :28 and nothing happens???
I think it's just the AI trying to regain control of the car.
It didn't look too high from the first few minutes I saw.Do you know what the AI is set at ?

You are correct. The AI skill varies. So let's say you set difficulty to 100%, then the front row drivers are going to be that but the last ones are maybe 7-10% slower (not sure of exact number).I would assume the ones towards the back should be easier to pick off and pass , if he'd qualified I'm sure he'd be towards the front anyway . He seems a good driver aswell
Just like in real.
And the downforce of that Red Bull was ridiculous! Not to mention he's Sebastian Vettel. Those guys make it look easy.
He wasn't quite finished the corner and if you watch closely he has some turning left to do while still on the grass. He's fully on the grass with the left side here and still not pointed in the right direction. Not the same thing as the Saikitto video of course, but Vettel also didn't lift.Erm... I'm sorry but I wouldn't say "nothing happened" there.
1) The car twitched heavily, look at the rear.
2) Vettel had left the corner by that point and was on the straight, not like the video at Sakitto.
This one is even worse - full offtrack
Erm... I'm sorry but I wouldn't say "nothing happened" there.
The car didn't slow down (much) or spin out, I would say that's nothing. This one certainly confirms my original post!
