Probably none. I believe in the non-PC versions in the moment they're available. I think only PC version will be out this year.

I've seen the screenshots of the XBone/PS4 versions, so I too would like to know. Unless you think, quite believably, that someone can't develop a game like this so quickly. If it were the case that they developed the games seperately, I could understand. However, the develpment engine automatically produces the versions for the PC/XBOne/PS4/Wii U all at the same time.

I'd love to know which parts are PS4!

Yes,
I would love to know also as I have been dying to see some footage from the PS4 as I would just like to know what we can expect to look forward to on that platform.
So often you see the videos with all of the setting set to max and think how great it looks, but of course the PS4 and Xbox One cannot output that level of graphical quality at the required frame rates or at least I think that is what I am reading as I have no access and have never seen PS4 output from Project Cars.

Could this finally be the Gran Turismo killer?

I can tell you it already killed GT6 (Sony Should have gone Next Gen, Not sure what Kaz is thinking these days, maybe he has lost his way, you have to give the consumer a reason to want it.) for me, I login to GT6 everyday so as to not lose my login bonus, but I never actually play after seeing the footage of Project Cars, I wish it were coming out sooner and I hope it looks as good as the footage we have seen so far.

I must say that if the statements are true from Eurogamer, then we should be in great shape and I would imagine that the PS4 would have no problems outputting this just fine:

“SMS boss Ian Bell told Eurogamer the footage was captured from both the PS4 and PC versions, with the latter based on a single stock GeForce GTX 680 graphics card."

You know, I think the fact that you cant clearly tell on first sight which footage is PC and which is PS4 is just about the biggest compliment and reason for confidence in the PS4 version. ;)

Its also not the first time this happened, there was a video @ WMD (unfortunately it was quickly removed due to NDA) which had some clear indicators that it was from PS4 footage and yet it took most people who saw it (well, me at least:D) some time before it clicked and they realized "Holy 🤬 thats on PS4!!!"

This game is a monster. I´ve been watching this for over a year now and in a couple of months we can play it (I hope it will not get delayed). I will get it for PS4. One thing I hope is, they dont **** up the physics. And the second thing I hope PS4 can support the older Fanatec wheels. I have the GT2 with Clubsports.

So what does that say about the XO version tho?

For it not to be in there at all surely must mean it's not running great on XO/it doesn't look comparable to PC/PS4???

November isn't to far away so its strange that footage from that was ignored.

You say that like its hard to do. Its not a contest, everyone has already done everything better so hardly a question worth asking.
Kinda hard for something to kill you when you've already killed yourself.
Well, there's a difference between doing something better than Gran Turismo, and actually surpassing the brand. Project CARS will do well for itself by getting in ahead of GT7: Prologue on PS4, but I swear betting against GT is like betting against gravity. And I'm saying that as someone who gave up the series in 2005.

Or there might be no xbone footage because the guy who made the trailer doesnt have both a PS4 and a xbone dev kit to make footage with. Since he is not located in the SMS HQ (not even on the same continent), that might just as well be the reason. Who knows.

New 'Overlay Effect' video and helmet cam effect of Project CARS, it's a lap at Spa-Francorchamps with the McLaren MP4-12C GT3.

I love how you can see specks of dust and scratches on the visor. A very nice touch :).

I have just one problem though. Watching these videos it just doesn't seem that there is much sense of speed. I mean, when looking through the windscreen the scenery seems to move by very slowly :odd:.

The Field Of View has a big influence on this. When you reduce the FOV to get close to the steering wheel, like Adrian does (as opposed to moving the seat forward, but keeping the FOV wide (ie, triple screen)), you reduce your peripheral vision to a very small area, and because of that you don't have enough periphal information to tell you how fast you are going. Try it next time you are on the motorway (and please do it safely). Make a pair of blinkers that blocks the side out, so you are looking down a tunnel, and see the difference it makes to your perception of speed.

Oh, that makes sense. I take it that the FOV is adjustable then? If so, I'm going to have mine roughly the same as GT5/6 👍.

Thats why i always ask question: is my video going to be nicer for me or for the viewers. Lot of really good racing "POV" is boring to watch, because of small immersion factor.

Yep, FOV will be adjustable in all versions. One thing to remember about FOV; while having a bigger FOV helps with spotting people around you, you are more likely to have a better race with a smaller FOV because the perception of speed is lower, meaning you have more time to react. I know it sounds completely bizarre, but until you have tried it, it won't make any sense.

Adjustable FOV on a console game is great -- just goes to show how stupidly stingy other developers are with offering options. :)

I don't agree with the small FOV method as described in the video Myles Prower posted, personally. What's accurate to your setup is an ideal worth striving for, but if the sense of speed is slow then braking zones and corners are more difficult because you lack an appropriate impression of how fast you're rolling into them. I don't like "warp drive" settings either, but 55-65 is way too low for me.

FOV is such a divisive and personal issue. I personally don't fiddle too much with it, most times I will move closer to the wheel in cockpit view, and prefer a higher, further away view for external.

Hahaha....warp drive! Ala FM4!
