Hmmm...will keep an eye out for cheap deals then. Plus, there might be a GT along the line so that would make it a purchase regardless.

Do you own a psp? I never had one so I'm enjoying the back catalogue of psp games.

A bit odd I suppose using a vita for psp. If it wasn't for that I'm not sure the Vita library would have swayed me. I researched Tactics ogre and similar turn based stratagy type titles and pulled the trigger.

I've Got Fifa, Metal gear HD, sound shapes, Mutant blobs(excellent) and now Pinball as my Vita titles.

Overall I'm impressed with the system and know there's a lot of untapped potential that I'm hoping 3rd party developers take up.

Web browser could be improved a lot though.

Hopefully GT PSP gets ported to the PSP games you can get for it. Then at least there's something. Don't hold your breath for a real title.

My opinion is it worth it? Tough call, if you love Sony's gaming properties then yes, because theres some good first party titles out so far (Unit 13 is fun, Uncharted, and Wipeout 2048, among others - these are what I have). Theres not a lot out yet, but theres a lot coming up. It works REALLY well and the graphics seem to be PS3 quality just on a smaller scale.

Also if has a lot of cool apps that maybe can have it take the place of a tablet, it does Netflix, Skype, Web browsing, maps, etc. I don't use any but if you need basic tablet functions you're set as well. Things like Cross Play and Cross Buy also make it a good value. The fact that the most expensive games are only $40 is nice as well, especially when you're used to getting hammered for $60 for a new release game for PS3.

You really need to look at though if you game at home or on the go. I find myself more on the go some weeks, but my Xperia Play usually keeps me happy. The Vita is a bit bulky but if you carry a bag with you often you're set. Thats the things you need to look at before you decide if its worth it FOR YOU.

If only I could get my ZP1 tables to work on the Vita????? When I press the [] button to look for download tables, it states there are none. WTF. I read a lot of people having trouble with this. I hope they will fix it.

You can click on the greyed out tables you have, the "buy table" option will change to download, Its a messy and strange system but it worked. the game updates each time you dl a new table or set.

Just played 30 minutes of ICO. The remote play worked really well. Controls felt responsive and only had a few lag instances but I'm sure that is related to my internet more than a problem with the function. I also solved a puzzle I was stuck on so that is nice too.:D

I can confirm that remote play for PS1 classics has been improved, almost no delay like before. Crash bandicoot is playable now without predictive movements. Whatever they did for God of War they are using it for PS1 remote play too. In fact you can now assign the back touch for additional controls in remote play for ps1 games like the emulator.

Any vita owners who are looking for someone to add feel free to add me.

spagetti69. No H in spagHetti.

Some of you in the US may have it already, but apparently IGN is reporting that Gamestop has broken the street date on LittleBigPlanet Vita. Call your local store to ensure availability.

If you want a creepy adventure in a wonderfull world -> Gravity Rush. It's unique.

I was never a big fan of the kiddy LBP style, so I cannot comment on that. It looks brilliant for what it does though. Just not my type of game.

Not an easy decision. I hope others will have an opinion too.

I haven't played gravity rush but apparently it's good.

For me though I think LBP would offer more replay value and therefor stay in your system longer.
There's plenty of talent in the LBP community and the expanded mini game tools look like there will be some very creative mini games coming.

Tough choice though.

To give you an idea: The main story of Gravity Rush will take you 10 hours. Then there are lots of challenges.

I agree with Spagetti69, LBP will last longer if you like that sort of play. LBP looks really good too.

I went with LBP Vita and should get a gift certificate refund in the next week or so to get Gravity Rush.

LBP plays really well so far. The mini games work well with the touch screen and I would say touch is implemented well in the main game. LBP and Vita are a natural fit together.

Edit: If anyone wants to add me send a request to psn: mcfizzle

Finally have near working and will be getting Gravity Rush next week along with playing LBP online.

Cheers for the FR Mcfizzle.

Anyone got Zen pinball on Vita? My friends leader boards are bare. Although I'm on top I suppose lol.

Basically the Zen pinball 2 app is free. You can then import any tables you purchased on PS3?.

I have

Spiderman
Ironman
Blade
Wolverine
Eldorado
V12
Shamen
Tesla.

Those were bought when the vita was a twinkle in Jack Trettons eye. Nice too see my purchases pay off again.

To celebrate I bought Plants vs Zombies as a thank you to zen.

Online works Flawless too.

Basically set up a room (or search). With limits set by host. Eg. First to 5 million. 5 minutes or penaltys for losing a ball, 5% 10% etc.

Tip don't go in a 100 million room. Takes ages. 5 million is about right.

Sorry for Double post here guys but PSN Europe seems to be having issues with Little big planet Vita.

After downloading the file an error occurs when the Vita tries to install.
Below is a post I just put up on PSN Blog EU.
Anyone here have any ideas?

Well checked the Store this morning and little big planet vita is still available.
When pressing the buy now option it wants to deduct funds from ky account again.
I obviously didn’t go through with the purchase.
I was hoping that it would remember I have already got LBP tied to my account but alas no.
I have confirmation e-mail of funds being added then taken out yesterday.
Who should I contact over this issue?
Also having non installed data on my vita is still taking up memory space yes?
How can I delete the corrupt data? I see no way of doing it.
Or should I keep the data for the moment?
I’m not very tech minded so forgive my maybe dumb questions.
Ta.

Zen Pinball 2 is a great game on the vita. The visuals are so harp and the physics feel just perfect.

I am already adding you for a week as a friend. Still not did it. Will do tonight though :)

Cheers Marco.

Adding me for a week? Am I on trial? Lol.
Or is it a translation issue.

I won't spam you, honest.

My English, sorry. I noticed you asked for adding friends a couple of days ago. I was going to do it, but still not did it. ;)

LittleBigPlanet PS Vita Install Issues (EU only)

----------------------
Hi all,

As you may know there have been some issues with the digital version of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita on the PlayStation Store in Europe.

First of all let me apologise for all the inconveniences this has caused you.

While these issues are not 100% resolved yet, I would like to let you know what the current status is.

If you have bought the game between 18:45 and 22:55 (BST) on 19-09-2012 you may have received the following error code: C2-12383-7. If that is the case you will receive a refund. As soon as I have more information for you, I will update this post.
If you did not receive an Online Pass with your digital copy you can now go to the PS Store and download the online pass for free.
Finally, if you are buying the game now you should encounter none of these issues!

Again, we are very sorry that this happened. We promise to update this post as soon as we have more information to share

Little Big Planet is my first battery draining game. The first game that I just could not put down. Its beautiful and I can see this as one of the best valued games on Vita well worth full price. There isn't anything else like it on any handheld. And its pretty. In the next few weeks and months its going to get better 3000 levels already before its official release.

It really is an awesome game handheld or not. I simply can't get enough of it.👍

Agreed on this one. Exactly what the Vita needs.
Vita exclusive, gimmicks don't feel at all gimmicky. If that makes sense.
Utilises the features perfectly.

This should have been the Vitas launch title. To show exactly what it's all about.

I think tarsius out did Media molecule here. Although I'm sure MM's tearaway will be a stormer too.

Beauty of this is that you can pick up the title a month from now and still get fresh content.

Sony should take some credit for a £29.99 PSN price too. There not all bad. Lol. I know I moan at them sometimes but I'm quick to give credit too when deserved.

My thoughts too. Probably the best LBP to date.
