Hello guys I am new to online events, as this will be my first. Just to clarify, are we actually racing againts to members we are paired up against in realtime or as a time trial?

Races will be given a time span and a final date of when all racers must have completed that round. You decided on the time and date with your partner.

You pair up the same way that you would for a normal GTP race. You set a time and both enter the race then. With abit of luck, you match together. Works 99% of the time.

As I look through the list so far, it is becoming very clear to me that I am going to draw someone very fast in the first round. :nervous:
 
@LinPark: The longer the list the better. As it stands now, if I, or you (or both), lose the first race we enter, at least we will just be among the 17 guys that have the same exact thing happening to them :D

How about the loosing members compete with each other, in some kind of loosers event! hehe

(I will probably be one of the said members)
 
why you guys are so negative!? i cant read some minds saying: "Ok, ill give it a go on this event to lose.. thats what i need to do.. lose!" i dont believe... 👎

you should enter in an event with an optimistic feeling... and ofcourse to win! no matter the opponent... and some surprises might happen 👍 thats why mixing all the divisions will be funny...

imagine a fairy tale: :dopey: :dopey: :dopey:
like someone already said.. david against golias... golias is in div1 and david division 5... they start the race.. then golias just go away.. then near the end golias lost it through the grass.. and david is coming with his own rythm and overtake golias... and win the race! :D

you might think.. what an ass telling me fairy tales... but things like this happens all the time.. nobody is perfect! people make mistakes... so everyone got a chance to win if they really want to grab it! confidence 👍

Well said bro:tup:! i have the same kind of thought! Im here to win and i think every body should think the same! Its gonna be pretty hard coz must of the drivers are damn fast:sly: but be positive people:tup:
 
I am optimistic of being competitve, tho I have no experience of my competitors so do not know how good or bad they are. Before my last PS3 and games were stolen, I did manage to get a few top 20 times on time trial before the times were wiped after the last update.

The reason I wrote what I wrote is because I've raced most of these guys online and they bring some serious heat. Mistakes happen and that's why we run the races - see you on the track gents!

Each round a car and track will be selected. In your pair you are left to organise your time and date. No tuning will be allowed in the competition. As its about the fastest racer, and you will all be on a level playing feild. Its about your driving ability not what your tune can do.
