I'm gonna have to go have supper in about 20 minutes but yea.

Yeah maybe you guys could try out the new map in an unofficial lobby, see how it goes, and give any feedback and/or changes before we do it with more people this weekend. I may hop on later today if I'm free.

On second thought, I may not be able to join a lobby today. Got a few errands to run after work.

Can anyone like this post if they can make it to a lobby around an hour from now (6:30 PM GMT). We'll be doing A Class Open Patrol with Japanese Cars at Byron Bay (cops can use any A Class car).

Lobby is now up, but open patrol won't be starting for another 30 minutes

Lobby closed as it doesn't look like anyone else will be joining. I may open it up again if I see enough people online, but as of right now, I don't think an open patrol will be happening tonight.

Let me rephrase the question: how would we know if someone is on stock or street tires?
The only real way for me to tell is if the car does nothing but spin the tires. In C class the only way to get to the top of the said class on stock tires is to do an engine swap, so maybe listen for a 6.2 V8?

Maybe just say stock engine and no stock tires? Then again it would outlaw them completely from C and B class.

I think each tyre has a different tyre model, although it's not that visible in game. Not sure what the best way to check it is though.

Also, I have Cartrucks, Jedi and Panda in a session with me right now, if we can just get 1 more person in here, I'll start an open patrol

Should just be common sense. Anyone with half a brain can read what was posted above.
@JASON_ROCKS1998 gimme 20 minutes and I'll be good to go.
Yes... I know we can all read...I am just saying it is going to be very difficult to make sure people are following it.

Here's another proposal I have not related to tires: get rid of the Fines system and use something less complex. Throw your ideas here.

Litnig had the idea of a timed system, whereby everyone gets at least 10 minutes as a Racer, with a maximum of 2 pursuits.

Correct. The idea that I had was that if you're a racer and your first pursuit lasts less than 10 minutes, by default you can go again. However if it's either over 10 minutes or a SWAT team is called in, it's an instant impound if you get surrounded and arrested.

Also I stand by what I said regarding the Drone having a time limit. By allowing the police to use it indefinitely, it just makes all attempts to escape police pointless because it will find you eventually. I feel like there should be a maximum of 5 minutes per use, followed by a 2 minute cooldown while it recharges.
@Ameer67 we could just have everyone who chooses to use a classic vehicle provide a screenshot to show the tire compound, like what we did with the budget car challenge.

I was thinking we use something like the 3/3 system, but linked with the pursuit priorities. The racer starts with 0/3 and once they hit 3/3 or higher, they're out. Here's the "key":

Priority 1 (basically all units needed, SWAT team too probably): add 3.
Priority 2 (some cops in the chase, pursuit is getting a bit crazy): add 2.
Priority 3 (traffic stop for minor violation or a very quick chase): add 1.

And if the cops lose visual of the racer for 2 minutes, the racer does not have any fines added for the pursuit they have evaded.

I've always liked the idea but never been keen on imposing a time limit on the drone, because like a lot of things, it would be tough to enforce since you cannot see who is in a drone.

We can try the screenshot thing too for the muscle cars, but I don't know if everyone will remember to do so or if they will change their mind during the lobby.
