We could do that and maybe tomorrow we'll do a regular Open Patrol? Hopefully I'll be available next Sunday because it's your idea, so I wouldn't want you to be excluded.
I've got the entire next weekend off thankfully, so I may be able to get it going on Saturday. đź‘Ť

I'll be at my XBox next weekend, so I may be able to attend. Considering the fact that certain S2-class cars can be used by the cops in ZDUPH's latest Most Wanted event, I'll see about making and uploading GCPD liveries for a handful of hypercars when I can.

I appreciate you guys liking the post but I would prefer having more people and something came up anyways. Sorry.

So, for tomorrow, I'm thinking we should attempt a C class open patrol. Classic muscle cars will be off limits, as they are far too powerful for C class. Who here could make it tomorrow? The lobby will be put up at 1PM EDT, and the patrol will take place at Nothern Plains (offroading is off limits as mentioned by @Ameer67). Like this post if you can make it. đź‘Ť

Will the construction site still be available or is it off limits too?

How @ZDUPH saw my SWAT Ghurka

May I propose a change to the Gurkha S.W.A.T. units? This may sound a bit overpowered, but should the Gurkha be immune to collisions (as in, colliding with objects will not destroy the Gurkha, however a rollover will still immobilize it)? I mean, a 16,000 pound LAPV being destroyed by colliding with a small BMW 323Ti Sport seems....pathetic.

I feel like it wouldn't be overpowered, since the Gurkha is already so slow, and it doesn't really have any special perks (i.e. Rhino Units are allowed to ram head-on and such). In essence it's just a slower Rhino unit, so by making it impervious to collisions with trees and traffic cars, it can really distance itself from Rhino units. However, like mentioned above, rolling the Gurkha will still destroy it.

Feel free to vote on this matter. If you agree with this idea, like this post. If you disagree, either ignore the post or state your reasoning for disagreeing in a reply. đź‘Ť

If a good amount of people get the new expansion next Tuesday, do you want to try to set up an event there. If it's able to be organized.

I know I most likely won't be getting it this Tuesday, but I should be able to get it in 2 weeks, unless it gets put on sale which is very unlikely. Plus it'd probably be better to wait and see what the new map is actually like before trying to organise a patrol/MW there.

Also, not that I think we ever will, but I strongly suggest we implement a HP limit if we ever do C Class again. I'd say a 300HP limit for normal cars, and a 400HP limit for those that are over 4,000lbs (which includes most SUV's and the heavier sedans, such as the Crown Vic)

okay, also the update was so unexpected that the servers are probably going to be down for about 1-2 days. Similar to the incident with the Porsche pack. So many people are just gonna buy this pack as soon as it comes out.
I want to try to buy it after school which I hope I can. And If I'm successful I'll let you know how it looks.

I'll be sure to try out the Hot Wheels map when I can (which still could be a couple of weeks away) and evaluate its potential.

EDIT: Come to think of it, I don't think the Hot Wheels map would be suitable for Open Patrols. How would we enforce speed limits and realistic driving on roads orange tracks that are about going fast and driving crazy? I think these would be more suitable for Most Wanted scenarios and Hot Pursuit events (bust all of the racers before they reach the end point. Just inserting another two cents into the coin slot...

I wasn't really thinking of Open Patrol, but more MostWanted and Hot Pursuit. Because an Open patrol would be nearly impossible unless there's I'm wrong. We will have to see.

Just a list of police codes that were used in older NFS games. Doubt we'd use all of them but I've listed the ones I find could be useful in an actual chase.

The following codes are a mix of those found in NFSMW 2005 and 2012.

10-1 - Responding to a call
10-2 - Cancel Call
10-3 - Arrived on Scene
10-4 - Understood (Already in Use)
10-5 - Repeat
10-6 - Standby
10-10 - Returning to Patrol

10-20 - Current Location
10-25 - Unit Down
10-30 - Backup Required (General backup, more detailed backup calls at 10-31, 10-36 & 10-44)
10-31 - Patrol/Interceptor Backup

10-33 - Emergency Assistance (Similar to 11-59, when backup is required when not in a pursuit)
10-36 - SWAT Team Required
10-39 - PIT Maneuver
10-40 - Suspicious Vehicle
10-41 - Speeding Vehicle
10-42 - Traffic Collision/Reckless Driver
10-43 - Wanted Vehicle (After a suspect has escaped but has not changed vehicle)
10-44 - Rhino Backup
10-45 - Ramming Suspect
10-50 - Hit & Run

10-56 - Tow Truck Required (For when a civilian vehicle gets wrecked)
10-71 - Air Support (Drone)
10-73 - Roadblock
10-83 - Set Up Quadrant
10-96 - Traffic Stop

11-59 - Major Emergency (Traffic Build Up, Multiple Vehicle Collision, Etc.)

Code 1 - Situation Under Control (EG Traffic Stop Complete)
Code 3 - Pursuit of Suspect
Code 4 - Suspect Busted
Code 6 - Visual Contact Broken

Code 7 - Priority 1
Code 8 - Suspect Found (After VCB/Code 6)

I've bolded the ones I feel we should at least try and use in a patrol at some point.

OK guys. In anticipation of ZDUPH's Most Wanted scenario (which allows certain S2-class cars for the cops), I have uploaded GCPD liveries for the 458 Speciale, Aventador LP700-4 and Lykan Hypersport to my storefront. Be sure to grab these liveries quick, as I only intend to keep them up for a couple of weeks.
