@Devildude24, you're good man, no worries. Definitely an unwelcome series of events.

I was thinking about hosting this Saturday, but don't know what mode/class/map specifically. Fire away if anyone has ideas.

@Ameer67 - Can we change tonight's lobby class from C to B please as most of us are having trouble finding a decent vehicle to use as a Police / Cop car due to it being Winter.

Tonight's lobby went ok i think apart from :

I do think that this rule needs more enforcement if i'm being honest especially during pursuits.
  • Do not hog up the microphone chat.
Also i thought only the Rhino / SWAT units where allowed to do head-on crashes to try and disable the suspects car - I've noticed that in the past few lobbies that players have been doing this in 'normal' Police units.

Another thing is that i still believe that there are some players who are using cosmetic damage NOT simulation damage during lobbies along with using the map to find suspects when there in hiding during the cool down period.

I think that if there are more than 6 players then we need to use one of the Edinburgh maps as they feel larger than Ambleside & Broadway.

Just my thoughts.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Added new rule: "Cops should not (intentionally) head-on hit a racer, unless they are in a light rhino or higher." (Light rhinos are advised not to use head-on hits since they have simulation damage on, but it is an option.)
  • UNIT NUMBERS MUST BE PLACED ON THE REAR BUMPER AS SHOWN ON THE LIVERY DESIGN. NOT ON THE ROOF.
  • Police priorities have been update slightly to more accurately describe police aggression.
PRIORITY 3
The pursuit (if there is one) is under control and hasn't escalated. Backup is not needed at the moment. Cops should NOT be using aggressive tactics.
Example: typical traffic stop/beginning of pursuit.
PRIORITY 2
The pursuit is starting to escalate and things are getting a bit out of hand. More backup would be useful. Cops should start using more agressive tactics.
Example: pursuit is starting to endanger cops and civilians.
PRIORITY 1
The pursuit is completely out of control and all backup available should join the chase. Cops should use full force and consider calling heavy rhino or SWAT for assistance.
Example: dangerous pursuit that has been going on for a while.

I've handed out (private) warnings to those who were doing this. If anyone in a lobby thinks someone else is talking a bit too much, send me a message on Xbox while we're playing.

For some reason, I didn't have the rule about head-on hits added from the last club, so "technically" they were in the clear. (But obviously it was supposed to transition over from the old club. Check the announcement above.) Thanks, Panda.

Who? I didn't see any indications people were running just cosmetic damage. You have to remember that the game's simulation damage model still needs plenty of strong hits to really get the car dying. I wish it was less forgiving, but that's how it is.

Agree. Bigger turn out than I expected yesterday, which is definitely not a bad thing!
