Even though I don't really have much time to be playing games anymore, I think I might actually be able to tag along in this lobby. Although I might be a half an hour late, as I'll be making my commute back home from work.

Today's lobby will be up in about 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Interesting Fact i noticed yesterday, Everyone was against having restrictions on vehicles with only light bars in yesterday's event, yet everyone used a vehicle with a lightbar yesterday. :odd:
And at the end all cops were using the Golf R.

Oh damn, I'm not at home rn lol. I can get home tho in about 15 minutes. How long is the session going? The only reason I'm not joining now is because my friend has no mic

Great lobby yesterday! Really great! Glad I was able to make it. Fantastic chases, and there weren't many problems. 👍
Not gonna lie, I think it was one of the best lobbies we've had. Thanks for hosting @Ameer67!

Great lobby, one of the best so far.

One thing I’d like to ask is should Racers be banned from using anything over 5,000lbs/2270kg? Because at that point it’s reaching heavy rhino territory

Full list of cars over 5,000lbs
Bentley 8 Litre (5,600 lbs)
Bentley Bentayga (5,340 lbs)
Bentley Continental GT (5,120 lbs)
Bentley Continental SS (5,030 lbs)
BMW X5M (5,370 lbs)
BMW X6M (5,180 lbs)
Cadillac XTS Limo (5,500 lbs)
Dodge Durango SRT (5,510 lbs)
Dodge Ram 2500 (7,040 lbs)
Ford F-150 Raptor (5,450 lbs)
Ford F-150 SVT Raptor (6,000 lbs)
GMC Vandura (5,050 lbs)
Hummer H1 (8,110 lbs)
Jeep Grand Cherokee (5,150 lbs)
Jeep Trackhawk (5,350 lbs)
Lamborghini LM002 (5,950 lbs)
Mercedes G65 AMG (5,690 lbs)
Nissan Titan (7,390 lbs)
Range Rover SVR (5,150 lbs)
VW Touareg R50 (5,750 lbs)

I just feel like when cars of this size come out It makes regulars cop cars kind of pointless when they can barely put a dent into the racer

I like your idea, but outright banning them is harsh. My idea is that we have the racer make an announcement that they will be driving a heavy vehicle when it's their turn. Once that happens, all cops can switch into light rhinos if they wish (temporarily putting a halt on the "only 1 allowed on-duty until there are 8+ players, then 2" light rhino restriction for that round).

Gonna host a lobby on Saturday (11/3)

Time: 3PM EST
Type: Open Patrol
Class: B
Location: Edinburgh South

If you can make it, be sure to LIKE this post. Should give people plenty of time to plan accordingly.

Those Racers best keep their eyes peeled as Officer Panda has only went and got himself a promotion from Bamboo Patrol to the Speed Camera Unit, He also got himself a new van to drive about in.
It's nice Panda, but it doesn't fit within the livery specifications...

The goal of making the livery rules is to have a somewhat standardized look on all cop cars. For example, I'm fine with the "Speed Camera" text and icons, but the Lothian and Borders police logo and stripe sizes are wrong.

@Silver Arrows I personally haven't found any real struggles trying to apply the livery to a variety of cars. Sometimes the exotics or cars with interesting profiles take some maneuvering, but it usually works out in the end. Make sure you are using the pre-made "kits" so you're not manually placing the chevrons on the back, or the police text on the side of the car for example.

Also, if @jwesson1 creates liveries using my decals, will it let him share the livery with you? I don't remember how it was in FH3.

I don't think so, but I know that I procured some of the units I used from FH3 via the Auction House. If worst comes to worst, I can simply just buy the vehicles there.

I’ve been very busy this past week and I don’t think I can make this week’s lobby either. Hopefully I can find some time next week to get back into FH4 with y'all.

don’t kick me pls amer
I know just how you feel man. It's been crazy at work for me. I was fortunate enough to have the time available on Sunday and this coming Saturday.

@Ameer67 - Thought of a new rule / suggestion that needs adding to the TR&CC website ;

Once you've unlocked one or both of the patrol outfits (These are located in the outfit section of the character customisation menu) please make sure your avatar is wearing these when we're doing either an Open Patrol or Dual lobby as this makes your avatar look like a UK Police Officer.

@Silver Arrows - After doing designs for the cars you asked for i realised i can't share them due to using locked vinyls (Police / Dial 999) Sorry dude.

Maybe @Ameer67 can post up the Letter font / Sizing / Spacing he used to create the Police & Dial 999 vinyls. That way i can create them for myself and start sharing Police designs.

I don't think it should be a rule necessarily, more like, if you have them put it on if you want, if you don't have it then whatever, not a big deal.

The text was done by hand, using @PJTierney's window overlay method. (Basically overlay the photo using Glass2k on PC, and use the livery editor to trace it out. Takes a while depending on what it is. I used a bunch of rectangles for the text.)

If any lobbies open up then please tag me as I should be available pretty regular this weekend!

ANNOUNCEMENTS
  • Racers must make an announcement when they will be using a vehicle weighing 5,000 lbs or more. Cops are allowed to have an unlimited amount of light rhinos on duty at that point.
  • West and east beats (patrol areas) have been added to both Edinburgh maps to prevent having all cops at one spot. It's up to the host or dispatch to assign units to a beat.
