Sorry, I really hate to complain but to cops really have to be limited to cars with light bars? I know it’s your lobby and everything but I really don’t think it’s fair that Racers get to choose from all 100+ S1 cars yet cops are stuck with the choice of 6.

It's a valid complaint, Jason. My rebuttal is that racers are restricted to vehicles with 850 PI or less. I know that still leaves racers with a good amount of cars, but it's just something I wanted to try sooner or later. If things don't turn out as planned, we can switch to all cop cars mid-lobby.

Well, I think its fair, because Police Departments are limited to what vehicles they can use, then don't have 100+ vehicles in IRL, and it just enhances the authenticity of a police chase. /shrug

I’m sorry, but I just don’t see how effectively banning 95% of the car list is fair in any way.

You can say it’s for “realism” if you like but it’s not fun.

Banning the cops from using most of the car list isn’t fun in any way and my opinion on that will never change no matter the excuse for it.

Well, Maybe I'm used to the "realism" thing because I played too much FiveM, and Arma Milsim Stuff. My brain can't comprehend seeing silly vehicles with Police Liveries.
We are all entitled to our opinions anyway, I'd have more joy seeing all vehicles with lightbars during a police chase, then vehicles without lightbars with police liveries.

I'm going to have to agree with Jason on this one. It really does cut down on the cars that police units are able to be offered if we're going to be restricting to vehicles with lightbars.

If it is for this lobby only, I guess we can live with it. But I'd rather not have it be a continual thing.

Alright, I've edited the lobby post. Cops can use any vehicle they like (at or under 900 PI of course). 👍

Mode: Duel (see the sessions page for the full run-down on how it's played.)
Map: My custom Ambleside to the railyard route. It starts at an Ambleside sprint (don't recall the exact name at the moment) and should be shared.

Class: S1 (Upto S1 850 for racers, 900 for cops)
Cars:
Racers: anything at or under S1 850.
Cops: any car at or under S1 900.
Date/Time: Saturday, October 27 at 2 PM Central.

My two cents on the cop car thing-

I think that cops should at least be in "believable" vehicles. Like if it's a bunch of Honda's as Racers, then we should have, say, Crown Vic's as the cruisers. If we have something like Vipers and CTS-V's or something hopped up, then have hopped up "Interceptors" as cruisers.

Of course, whatever popular opinion there is (which seems to be realism) I'm okay with, but I'd like to have fun as well. The reason I don't want to have just cars that have light bars available to them is because 1) Playground didn't make many cars with them and 2) they're always on. If we could switch them on and off then I'd be a little more okay with it.

I plan on being there tomorrow, but I do have a birthday party to be at for a friend's baby around that time. I'll see if my fiance will let me stay for a bit and have some more fun in the session. Tomorrow is a "duel" session, right?
