Adding the CLK GTR to the list of rarest cars I've seen. Something like 25 of these made? Rare to see at all outside of a garage, much more rare to see one getting rained on here in the United States.

At one point the engine lid was off, but the crowds were too large to snap a good photo of that.
Of all the times I haven't gone to LRP Concours for! Always wanted to see the road car, but glad to have seen the race car at Laguna Seca. (Sadly didn't go on the track) How was the Historic Festival this year?

(At work right now, so I can't link my photos, so I'll just embed my IG)

Missed out on the CLK-GTR Supersport that they had in Boston for the Gold Rush rally years back as well.

Totally forgot about these two

Vette with historic plates waiting for its owner.

Damn, I would love to see the race version of the CLK-GTR, too. The Historic Festival was great, despite the rainy weather and the whole pandemic thing, we expected a bad turnout. Only went to the car show, none of the race days, unfortunately, but the car show was fantastic.

Not my own photo but it's gotta be this, Ferrari 410 SuperAmerica.

Back in early 2019, i attend a Ferrari Experience event at the local race track where they had several FXX Ks, 599 Evos and 488 Cup Cars. There were a group meeting of Ferrari owners from across the Gulf as well. Let's just say i felt like the poorest man in the entire block.

Anyhow, this Ferrari suddenly rolled by and supposedly belonged to the Royal Family. First and last time i ever saw one.

I got to see the Ford GT Mk.II when it was on loan to the Museum of Science and Technology in Ottawa. By far the rarest car I’ve seen in my life. 9 of 45.

That's taken with my phone camera. Lucky to be there on a day the museum was dead and entry was free for the last open hour between 4:00 and 5:00 in the afternoon.

I'm not a huge fan of the newer Ford GT but my gosh was this something else in person. I've seen plenty of R8s, I've seen a 458 Spider at a Dairy Queen, I've seen Aventadors, Gallardos, Huracans, I've seen a Porsche Carrera GT, I've sat in a Ferrari 456, but none of those came close to this. This is by far the fastest and most interesting car I've ever seen. Probably because I prefer race cars and track cars over road cars.

@SPhilli911 Turns out I did end up seeing that same CLK-GTR Street Version in person at the Audrain Auto Museum. :D

And my second Vector W8 (after seeing the silver one at the Petersen Museum)

As well as Ralph Lauren's Reventon Roadster

I have pictures of the others, but forgot to upload them to somewhere to share. A McLaren F1, Chiron Sky, etc from the Audrain Auto Museum Supercar exhibit. If you're in the area, I highly recommend it as it ends in May I believe.

Awesome! It looks like an hour and a half drive for me, maybe I can make it out there soon. I've never seen a Vector before, that alone would make it interesting.

Not counting museums, I would say:

Ferrari Enzo (few years ago early on a Sunday morning on the A414 near St Albans)
Ferrari LaFerrari on London Road, St Albans.
Lamborghini Aventador SV at a petrol station in Brookmans Park
Porsche Carrera GT in North London

The CLK owner's IG is worth the follow.
He owns the green F40, too, right? That car was at Lime Rock last weekend along with some other super rare Ferraris. I've not seen the car myself, but every time I can't make it to Lime Rock the green F40 is there.

I went to the Simeone museum to finally see some cars I've wanted to meet for a long time. So, I think I might have a new #1 spot for the rarest car I've seen.

This 1964 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. I mean, there were only 6 made.

Also, I just wanted to share these. I'm just so excited to meet such legends.

Not the best photo taken, but got it as quick as I could. Toyota 2000GT convertible and it is a real 2000GT, but a convertible replica. Owned by a local collector who mostly keeps their collection hidden away, little did I expect to see it on the road!

A little more info about this 2000GT in particular here from the owner's own website. They're a 2000GT specialist located in Maine and recently sold the $2.5mil Toyota-Shelby 2000GT.
