I assumed it was a kid's cart, and didn't care to get a closer look, sorry. I'm starting to get more into rare older cars and the stories behind them, though, so future shows will be gone over more thoroughly.

Concours Denver 2014:

'64 A.C. Cobra CSX 2183, one of 655 leaf-spring 289s (343 coil-spring 427s were also made):

'76 Turbo Carrera 930 preproduction no. 011 - the silver car here. Window card claimed this is one of four preproduction cars made for the US market, with two still in existence, 014 being the other. "No options installed, the only US Turbo with no sunroof":

'97 Turbo S, one of 183 S models:

'72 McLaren M10B Formula 5000, "one of 21 or 22"

'68 McLaren M6B chassis #50-07, one of 17:

'83 March/Chevy 83G GT, one of 5:

MG EX186 - one of one?

'57 Continental Mk II, one of 420:

'57 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham, one of 440. Did not think these bodies would have been made in France:

'90 Maxton Rollerskate, "number 7 of about 50." This is actually the second I've seen in Colorado, the other was on the street. Mazda 13B powered!

'89 Festiva Shogun, one of 7 made despite 250 intended (Leno owns #3). Each one a different color, this purple one was the last and the only one built for SCCA racing.

'57 Byers Special SR-100, one of estimated 25 originally made with only three known restored examples. I believe the bodies have been brought back into production:

'06 Maserati MC Victory, one of 180:

Can't have been many orders for a Mondeo Vignale 4-door saloon in the UK, but that is what I saw today. Didn't even realise there was a saloon of the current Mondeo.

Think there’s 395 or less.
Total. I suspect the highest concentration is in the UK, with Germany following.

A search that I wasn't able to conduct earlier suggests that the one you posted is the personal car of the designer, Dick Ruzzin, so it's not odd that it would be where you indicated. A source that I trust puts the number of cars here at just six as of five years ago.

Edit: I should say that the above is from the same trusted source...I'm not thinking straight.

Too bad I have no pictures! Some real wonderful pictures in this thread. I really want to drive the Gulf GT40 and the Porsche race cars.

The rarest cars I ever seen are...

A 90's red NSX on the freeway.
A GORGEOUS 95' RX-7 R2 in red on the freeway.
A nice red 1997 Toyota Supra RZ on once again a freeway.
This one shocked me when I seen it.. a awesome Ferrari Testarossa in bright yellow on the street in LA.
A beautiful black 2005 Ford GT40 in my town.. the owner of the Ford dealer here owns it.. go figure right.
A red 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 parked at a parking lot in Chico CA.
1997 Lotus Elise in dark green in Eureka CA.

That's it for me.

I've seen a Porsche 550 Spyder on a Classic Car Meet in my city. I still didn't learn whether that was an original (which i kinda doubt, since there are so little of them in the world) or just a very well made replica, but still

Couldn't find the pictures on my laptop, so here's a video i did from that event (skip to 2:28 and 13:08 if you wanna see the Porsche)

Shots taken at Brands Hatch 2017 Superprix. Below one of one - The Farrallac Allard Cadillac

Below one and two of two - the Bond Car Factory front wheel drive Formula Junior racers.

Below one of one Brahma Sports Prototype.

Below - not a one off, but very rare Kellison J4R.

Car 12 2.jpg

Below - photographed at the 2017 FIA Masters Historic Festival at Brands Hatch - One of one - The Works RGS Atalanta Racer of Major Richard (Dick) Gaylard Shattock. The RGS Atalanta is thought to be the first glassfibre bodied car.

Above - the front and rear of the car match - Dick Shattock had an aluminium bodied HWM Jaguar on loan from which he made a mould of the front - this mould was then used to produce the front and rear body out of fibreglass - the "aerodynamic" fins were added to the rear body to stop the car looking symmetrical.

Forgot to add this one. One off 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Rondine Pininfarina at Carriage House Motorcars in Greenwich, CT. Stopped by during my time at the Greenwich Concours happening "down the street."

Another one off I took a terrible photo of. :irked:

I've visited the Cité de l'Automobile in France, so I've seen 2 of the 6 existing Bugatti Type 41s. Otherwise, locally, I've seen

1 of 36 Ferrari 250 GTO formerly of Greg Whitten's collection

and

1 of 2 Aston Martin DBR2 (the DBR2/2, again from the Whitten collection)

That is actually 1 of 7 as it has the Series 2 bodywork from 1964 (similar rear window treatment to a 250 LM). Most 250 GTO's date from 1962-3 and have the Series 1 body (flush rear window). Only three Series 2 cars were originally made. Four Series 1 cars were rebodied as Series 2's in 1964 bringing the total number to 7.

I don't think this is the rarest I've ever seen, but rarest I've seen for some time - I saw a Zonda F on Cromwell Road while walking to South Ken station after work, and this is the best photo I got of it:

I mean, you can at least see it was yellow...

I saw a Koenigsegg CCR in the wild.

The rarest car would be the 2003 Le Mans winning Bentley Speed 8. It was on display at a dealership in Berlin.

Thanks for the additional info. My understanding is that the 36 include both Series 1 and Series 2 cars. I wasn't totally sure if this was one of the cars that were rebodied to Series 2 or not, so I decided to leave that part out. 👍

These two are fairly high up my list of rarity. Both were at one point owned by the same person.

A GT came from Ford Performance at a cars and coffee in Detroit probably won’t see one again until they’re in production. This was a prototype they loaded it on a trailer when the show was done

I recently saw a Cobra Daytona Coupe in Knutsford driving to a classic car show. There were several diffrent Cobras in convoy. However, it's likely to have been a replica. Still a beautiful car to behold.
