There are so many Eleanor look-alikes it isn't even funny. One of my sister's boyfriend's friend bought an Eleanor from an auction for $250K and got it up to 200+mph

I saw a Ferrari 350? GTS. Old car. Had cloth seats. Red and balck (duh). and was :yuck: an automatic :yuck: But still a very cool car, and very rare 'round these parts.

Not too many rare cars. I have seen a red Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII GSR at my school for some reason. I was excited but my friends were like, "Oh... is that a good car?" I laughed. I also saw a red Toyota Corolla GT-S (AE86) hatchback in Baltimore.

Hmm, I've seen some very rare cars. The Saleen S7 at the auto show has to be one of the rarest cars I've seen. Otherwise, I saw an Enzo and a 575 Barchetta at the Ferrari dealership in my area, and those are two extremely rare cars. The rarest car I've seen on the street is a Maybach.

Don't really know what the rarest one i've ever seen is. But here are some rare ones (here anyway) i've seen/heard before.

- Ford GT40 Race Car (my Dad has driven a road car :()
- Ferrari 512M Race Car
- Ferrari 360 Modena (red)
- Ferrari Testorossa (red)
- Ferrari 550 Marenello (rare silver right hand drive version)
The above three Ferarri's are about 15-20 minutes away from here (at the most) with the 550 being about 3-4 minutes away

- Honda NSX (red - in showroom)
- Ferrari 308 (? - saw when i was in Queenstown)
- Chevrolet Camaro Z28 ('97? - black)
- Chevrolet Camaro SS ('98? - black or silver, can't remember)
- Dodge Viper GTS (red with white stripes)
- 1971 (?) Nissan Skyline C110 (one of the guys from SDU owns it)
- Various Honda S2000's

And there's plenty more cars i've seen but can't remember them at the moment.

Once while we were on the New Jersey Turnpike, a Lamborghini Murcielago blew us by in our big-block 496-equipped Suburban like we were standing still. My eyes had just enough time to register it as a Murcielago.

Two Vipers prowl the streets of nearby Jamesburg, an RT/10 and RTS10.

I caught a glimpse of a Mosler MT900S once during an SCCA Solo II event at Raceway Park in Old Bridge.

Mustang Man - Camaros aren't rare - they sold 25,000 of them in its last year of production :P

In fact, I see F-bodies, Camaros or Firebirds, mostly F-3's and F-4's, all the time.

They are rare here mate. I've only ever seen two new Camaro's and they are the two i've just mentioned. Mustang's are also very race here (new ones anyway).

Hey Victor, I guess that you live in New Jeresy too. Anyway, on Father's Day, we were going to get my dad's friend. On the way over to his appartment, we passed a blue lambo Garlardo. I was in a state of shock, my guess is that he was just passing through. Before school let out, there were a comple of students that shouldn't be living in my town. There's 2003 and 2004 Mustangs, A C-coupe, a G35 coupe, and many others. On the other hand, one kid drives a nice El Camino. Possibily the nicest car on school grounds.

My dad owns a 03 Roush Mustang Stage 2(SS2=STang Stage 2). I bet you never will ever see one wherever you live, if stock mustangs are rare.

A saw a real rare car today, and old 2x2 Grand Prix, man what a beauty. Even prettier than the Aero Coupe.

One of these:

(note the aero nose and glassback roof - less than 1,000 of this particular model were made)

Living and in Central London gives me a great opportunity to see many rare cars over the years, here is an example of some of the best; all cars seen driving on road and not in showrooms, etc.

Porsche 959 (white)
Ferrari F50 (red)
Mclaren F1 (silver - 2nd built, used as developement car)
Mclaren F1 (blue) - press car
Ferrari 288 GTO (red) favourite!
LAMBORGHINI LM 002 (red)
Aston Martin Zagato Volante (green)
Mercedes CLK GTR (silver)
Mercedes Maybach (silver/blue, yuk!)

Welcome to GTP, David!

Yes, London is certainly a good place for seeing nice cars at the higher end of the price scale. I'm jealous of your 288 GTO spot. I saw a handful at the Ferrari 40th anniversary at Silverstone a few years back, but never on the road. Go and check out my 288 GTO Shrine, and if you have any nice pics then, well, stick them in there! :D

Yesterday I saw a Yellow Mustang, it had Mach 1 written on the side and it looked like this.

My Jaw dropped, such a gorgeous looking car just sitting at the traffic lights on the A10.

Note: I don't live in America, so a car like that is rare here.

The rarest....hmmm.....a blue Lotus Espirit in front of my red Ford Explorer in downtown Pittsburgh!

hey i've seen that blue lotus driving around in the wexford / cranberry area just north of pittsburgh. there's also a yellow one around.

other than that, i saw a Ferrari 275 GTB a few years back. in my opinion, still one of the best looking cars ever.

WTF RX7's, 911's, and Jags!!! Those aren't even close to exotic!! I can walk outsside right now and stand in the street with a camera and comeback an hour later with 100's of pics of these cars!!! Where the hell do you live Iraq!!!

 I posted this at the wrong thread I meant to post at the what car you saw today thread. opps

Ha! Unbelievable. After slagging off the Aston Martin Lagonda so much in the 'ugly cars' thread, I actually saw one today - the first one I have ever seen on the road. It was absolutely huge- and still ugly! Anyway, this one was in immaculate condition and painted a strange pearlescent white colour. Was that a standard factory colour? I don't think so. I had the damn camera in my bag too, but I was too slow in getting it out. I was kind of shocked to see that car!

Aston Martin Zagato (green)
Aston Martin Vanquish (Silver)

Lambhorgini Murcielagio (Yellow)

You saw all those on the road? By 'on the road', you mean in track day paddocks right?

I just saw a Fiat 500L yesterday. It pulled out into traffic (ahem, stopped?) and I had slam on the brakes to get alongside (it wasn't going to get up to 45mph for a few miles). My wife said, "Isn't that the car we started that racing game (GT2, of course) with?"

The mere fact she remembered, and didn't mind I struck up a quick conversation with the driver makes me quite happy to be with her.
