I'll give it a 6.5 because it's not too interesting, the car takes up quite a bit of the picture, and the lighting looks kind of dull overall.

One of my favorite new photos that I've captured. Unedited.

Dooglers8:

I would give this photo a 8/10. I really like black and white photos as they just look so cool. However, I just find it a tad too dark. Other than that it's perfect.

Great piece of work, keep it up!

Ok, here is my photo:

I was trying to go for an action shot on this one. For the best experience, click on the image for the full size. I didn't really do that much to it as I don't really understand the photo-mode settings, so I just messed about with the individual settings and I think it came out OK.

I'd give it a 7 out of 10. The idea is good and the photo is focused perfectly, but the lighting is kind of odd and there's too much of a glare at the top of the photo.

Here's two,

The first one is a fantastic shot! The angle and focus are bang on, and the black and white works incredibly well with this shot. The dark foreground frames the car very nicely, and the background and sky look amazing. It's a very artistic shot, but I really like it. I honestly can't find a fault with that shot 10/10

The second one doesn't do so much for me. Everything seem too dark, except for the sky in the archway, which I find to be over powering and distracting. I think this shot may have been better in colour. 6/10

twitcher, 7/10, just a good picture, I had to choose a different angle.

Original photo without photoshop:

MadMoss: 6/10 It's hard to explain, it is aesthetically pleasing yet I'm not drawn to it or amazed by it for some reason. Sounds strange I know.

^^ 7/10 the car is great and eye catching, but the background is too blurry, interesting backgrounds are basically essential to a good still shot.

Here are my (unedited) photos:

The first photo is alright, however it lacks a sense of speed or action. It seems a bit bland and I'm not sure the filter really does much justice for it. Overall a 6/10.

The second photo would be a 9/10. A great artistic shot with the sun in the background giving a good sense of the time in the photo. The filter works great with this one and the darkness is alright, making a slight silhouette of the Celica.

Here's mine: (Can't decide on one :scared:)

The first one captures speed, but is lacking in detail. There is no finite focal point. The shadows and light in the background are cool and go with the green of the car. 5/10.

I really like your second photo. It's a cool shot that shows off the lines of the car. I like how you included the street light in the photo, which kind of explains the lighting situation. The tilt of the photo adds to the effect somehow, but I can't put my finger on what it is. There is a lack of color variation, but it looks cool and accents the lines of the car. 7/10.

The third one is my favorite. The car/track combo is really cool, and the overall mood of the photo is nice. This picture has a lot of detail which I like, and the long exposure time gives a nice sense of speed. The colors in the photo are nicely balanced and agree with each other. I like how you included a sight line down the track in the top right hand of the picture, it gives depth. 8/10.

Here are mine:

6/10 Shows speed well, but angle doesn't seem to work, the silver car in the middle is too blurry. I think it can be fixed by switching to panning 3.

8/10 angle is much better the sense of speed is good. The cars behind seem too blurry again, but better picture overall.

It's not great, but I'd like critique anyway.

The first one: I would give that a 9/10 because the picture itself gives the feeling of speed/motion, and the dark background makes you focus on the car more.

The second one: I would give that a 10/10! The way the car is positioned, the background and the detail is just amazing!

Either you edited your post, or my computer didn't load that picture for 10 minutes. Sorry. But that IS a really good picture. I would give that a 10/10. But too tired to write why. Had almost no sleep last night.

1. Good colour scheme, I thoroughly enjoy the life of this, but its bland in my opinion 7/10
2. Good color again, but the lighting is odd, almost generic 7/10
3. My favorite, I love the way he headlights play off of the signs 8/10

Which do you like more, the more advantageous one, or the more defined second?

Oh my goodness Dude those pics are awesome!!! The 1 series picture has to be my favourite, great lighting to give the picture mood and make it look quite realistic. Good Job man! 👍

8.5/10 nice to see a different angle to 'the usual' and it really shows off the X2010. Contrast looks great too!

I'd give this a 6.5/10, I like how the detail stands out in the rims, but the headlights were pretty blurry.

Anyways, this is my attempt at the Nurburgring with an FR-S and other race cars:
