This ringing any bells to anyone?

It's fair to say even though someone may be able to run a 27 it's not so likely under the gun, that separates the upper crust from the rest(kinda silly when the guys claiming it are not even running in the right car lol).

If the point of the other thread was that there are more people then 'we' know of who can run 33's, then the odds change just a bit. We aren't even seeing that much, if at all, in any car? Average Joe might pop a hot lead lap from pole but nothing more, and that's not very surprising tbh.

The point of the last thread was about tire wear, then it turned into hot lap competition. And thats all it should have ever been.

I was using your words if you didn't notice, the thread was about pad vs wheel. But you thought it a good idea to point out that no one knows how many average joe's can run 33's or whatever.

I run into a lot of people that can run a 6:33, people that I don't consider very fast (average joe's) because they are 6 seconds off the pace.

Keep in mind those guys probably run in the high 30's most of the time. But they can still do a 6:33, when the planets are aligned.

It's safe to say they were not in the lobbies today, and even safer to say no one with a 27.

Watched 4 races.. No one went under 6'31, although Jay and Dion would have been close in that last one had they not crashed. Look forward to seeing your 27 lap Roscko.

Fastest CSL laps I saw today were far and away by Dion. ;)

I'll admit it's surprisingly difficult to come to grips with the arcade settings in the room, but it's kinda fun throwing the cars around with never ending grip.

If you guys can learn to transfer your abilities to more advanced physics we could probably have some really good races.👍

Don't take this to mean I don't still expect to see those 20's. ;)

I would like to say thanks for having us in the room *all things considered* 👍
It was actually fun but I messed up my CSL, gave it to much under, then oversteer. Still, I had nothing for the lead , 2nd, or 3rd

I might...... Just might be heading to my buddies house tonight. Keep in mind, I use my buddies PS3, and if he wants to play stupid Resident Evil all night, I will not be the one to tell him otherwise. So it could very well be 2am eastern time before I get on. But I Might..... Be on tonight.

P.S. Does anyone know how to put 2 video's next to each other in the same video?

Great racing guys 👍

Great to see you Dom and Mike as well.

Jaymason 👍, certainly got some skills mate.

Still interested to see what you guys can run in the CSL though. But I did my best against those R8's and the LFA and ended up with a best time of 6'32. As Dan said above, Jaymason and I were on track for sub 6'30 but I crashed at Plfzgarten II and he ditched it coming onto Dottingerhohe

I still need more practise to be consistent... and more sleep :dopey:

A7angell has done 6 29 in the audi r8 and i have just done 6 29 in the lfa. Room is full so plenty of witnessnes here. End of

It was fun for sure 👍

Next time i'll bring out the wheel and a decent car , I never race street cars so didn't do too bad considering .

Room was fun , but it would be cool to see Jaymason in other cars too . Coming down the final straight his LFA had a good 20 mph top speed difference on you guys .

I'm not an elitist , and i'm not having a go , but i've always viewed the LFA as a bit of a ' Noobie ' machine . It's torque and top speed are what wins it races , more so than the skill of the driver in my view . If you ever drop into the usual PP rooms you'll always see someone pick it and win the race 8 times out of 10 or similar .

However , seeing his speed in the LFA shows me he does have the skill to handle it , always a plus in my book 👍

Also glad to see GTP back online :)

I agree, I hate the LFA, We all dubbed it the LFgay. I must say about the 8 out of 10 thing, I never lose to an LFA. Unless the LFA starts first and I start last and get wrecked a bunch of times. I am a try hard when an LFA shows up :)

FYI the HSC is even worse. Same speed, Less understeer.

Update, I WILL be on tonight sometime, Whenever my buddy gets off his game. So whoever wants to race, stay tuned.
In terms of the video I have to find a USB stick, My buddy has one, but he has to find it. I will let you know about that also. If I have to, I will go out and buy one tomorrow.

Yeah I see what you're saying there

I think Mason was on pole alot of the time , room must have been set to fastest first , possibly . I got the black screen and had to reconnect once also , damn servers .

If I get time for some practice tomorrow i'll run with the DFGT and put a real time for the GT500 down , if you still wanna race it at some point . Day TBA right now though due to my schedule , but when i'm free we can have a run one sunday in the evening GMT kinda time .

You guys should see what he did to his setup... He's got the PS3 setup at the end of a couch. Screens down WAY low, and no leg room at all. Basically I have to sit sideways and race

You're missing out on all the fun , just pick up your own PS3 sometime . GT5 is mega cheap now also .

I remember you.... I'm thinking the same thing now that I did before, too...

I'm gonna open a room

Just a quick note. The lfa is the only car I got in the 6 20's so far. I'm still working on tryin to get my other cars up to speed. Me and kizachief will be in a room 2moz, working out our setups and setting some times

Well if you don't have a pen drive it's highly unlikely you have a capture card so video is out of the question. I've used things like an ipod as a usb stick in a pinch.

No comment on the couch deal.

Was great to see you on track as well guys! , even though i had a hard time getting the hang of the online physic , im not too good talking in english but i think i heard my name (mike_gt3) and something like im not fast or that i was supposed to be the fastest?? may be not lol but i had a hard time understand with the engine sound over the voices... i tried to keep it clean and let space for other drivers while i learn a new game, but ended bumped out of track most of time, i tried one lap after in a server i created, i did 6:32 but there was a lot of place to improve.

I think it was not as bad as i expected for may be 3 hours i spent online since the game is released lol

There was area where the car handled better online, looking forward to join more often if i have enought time. :)

Titled "Ringmasters" for those that use the search.

What does that mean?

Shouldn't be to long and I will be on.

UPDATE-

I'm online in CSLACR's room, he has the number posted above. I do have the video, and tried to upload it quick using ridox's instructions but had trouble finding the USB drive after I selected the replay. I was in a hurry to race so I gave up. I'll give it another go after a few races.

Will be great to see a replay vid of you fast guys in a few races, would really top this thread off, i bet its the most popular thread on GTplanet!

THE TIME HAS COME.

Join up guys. I want to race GTP's finest, but remember, I will be rusty :)

I don't think you know how it works, the replay file is just that, a file. It's only viewable with a ps3, it's not a vid file of any sort. Just upload the file and someone will vid it for you 👍

On track with Rosckolove and CSLACR - Roscko does have speed!

Roscko time - 6.30.7!!! In only his 2nd race!
I have replay file.

6.30.1 won every race so far!
