I can't actually think of anything to recommend on console in the RTS genre. Command and Conquer wasn't very good... It's a pretty difficult genre to adapt to a controller.

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking forward to Xcom actually. That should be a decent console experience. It's turn based though so controls can be awkward I suppose but not hamper your chances.
Real time strategy can be killed with a poor controls and that's where the console come unstuck.

The only RTS I have played is Halo Wars, and I really like it. The controls are great, and epic matches can come out. For instance, when three Scarabs square off against a whole bunch of Vultures, then things get really good.

Yeah turn based would be a ton easier to adapt I'm sure. The really limiting factor for me is that there are so few buttons on a controller when you compare that to a keyboard.

Can anyone suggest good mods for Medieval 2 Total War? Yes I have the Kingdoms expansion.

Tried Company of Heroes 2 under the "free weekend" on Steam. Want to see why so many Russian players get butthurt of this game.
Completed the first mission yet, and I really liked it. Going to buy the game after the trial.
