No, no one does.
Thanks for the answer. No one does.

No, no one does.
SavageStevie Wonder might, but that's about it.
I follow Amy Shore on IG (she has some great car photos) when I noticed the tag #alpineisback so I went to her blog and saw these breathtaking pics

So... Any updates? It seemed like it was pretty big news for a while but it seems that it just faded away?
For something that was originally rumored to come out sometime this year, I can't find out anything about it.
Not strictly the case, at least from any decent sources. I believe Alpine intends to unveil a production version at an upcoming motor show (Paris is next month) or towards the end of the year at a dedicated event (given previous history, something at Monaco seems likely). I'd not expect to see cars rolling around until early next year, at the earliest. For something that was originally rumored to come out sometime this year, I can't find out anything about it.
To answer the first question, I don't see why not - but it'd need to be the right product. The 21 was potentially the right product, but at the wrong time - the Elise looked and handled better and had more cachet to its name.I'm not even sure they can. Will anyone buy a car from Caterham that isn't yet another seven variant?. Do they even have the resources to build something that isn't a track car?
Basically, yeah. Was highly-rated at the time (as you'd expect, given the Seven has always been popular) but it was also relatively expensive, which didn't help comparisons with others.Wasn't the 21 practically a 7 with a body on it?
It's been confirmed for a while. That short video confirms a turbocharged 4-cylinder engine.
It's been confirmed for a while.
New Renault Alpine set to utilise a Turbocharged 1800cc engine with up to 300hp.
Interestingly, the power unit is based on the 1.6 TCe found in the Clio RS (pictured above). And like the Alfa Romeo 4C, there are no plans for a manual offering.
