The Rolex Sports Car Series /Help Plan Season 2!/

MrMelancholy15
Alright... Storm and I (as you saw) had a great race last time. So, I think the "ironing" bit you're talking about is coming together really nicely.

Yea, it's more the pre-race stuff that could use a little work.

Boys. I'm going to lose the race in Monza and the next because I have to operate my shoulder and I will not be able to handle, sorry!

No, if it's not on the list, it won't race. You can race this Saturday, but in one of the cars on the list only.

i need 1 drivers willing to help me make a video for youtube about how driver changes work for my 12 hour race if someone would help me that would be awsome

StormPacer
What do you mean, exactly?

I mean I'm doing a 12 hour race and I wanna put a video on YouTube so I can put it on my thread so everyone can see how driver changes will work

Try to keep that stuff off here, if anything pm the guys you want to help you.

Oh, and commas and periods are your friends! :)

But back to what matters... I'm thinking that we go a half hour at 0% weather and then a half hour at 50ish and then we go to either 75 or 100% weather for the last bit.

Ok I will

Cool.

And the forecast for Saturday in Monza Italy, is cloudy and 79 degrees. What should the weather change be set to?

I will look on intellacast tomorrow and then I will find out when and if rain comes in what time it would be when the rain came in and if the rain is gonna come in when we are racing I will tell you and you can figure out what lap we would be on when it got there and plan for it

Tomorrow it will be manually changed, Saturday is when it'll be random. We can't make it come at a certain lap. And that was a question to everyone.

No I know but we can take a guess

polarbear345
That'd be a really bad guess... I'll just put it at like 3-4

I will take a good look at the forecast for monza tomorrow when I get the chance because we don't want it to rain if its not suppose to in monza ya know what I mean

50% to start (it'll either clear up or rain) and then 3-6 changeability, depending on the P.O.P (percent chance of Precipitation) percentage. 6 might make it rain, but, it'd be rather later on in the race. 3 would probably deal more with cloud cover, which could affect temperatures.

Today is Friday... I'm going to change the settings so it'll rain and be dry. Saturday is the only time the weather will be set to real, which I will handle.

ok when we are gonna look at weather for the track we are at for tracks that have the weather setting go to this site:intellicast this is where you should look for the weather for the tracks that have that setting

Is a 2:09 any good in the wet? Or am I way off pace?

With which tires? I was running 1:56s on my hards until the rain got to a certain percentage... which I might not discuss... But, then, once that point is reached, lap times are drastically reduced, and could be reduced by as much as twelve seconds, sure! That seems reasonable...
