I think its something were all going to have to practice with. Im not even sure how we can monitor something like that.

I agree. We might need to get in a lobby sometime and work on different scenarios. Unless we get a steward, we would have to use the honor system.

A penalty system and heavy damage should take care of everything. If you are involved in an accident you can clearly see in the replays who had to go into the pits. Review the incident and handle things accordingly.

Should also clean up our races some. People taking less risk and forced into cleaner driving. Not that it was a problem here anyway.

Question, is the race replay available to people that come in mid-way through/after a race has ended? Could have the steward come in after the race, save the replay and overlook it if need be later, IF the replay is available to them. You'd just need someone saty behind in the room til they turn up.

Okay, guys. I've asked Polarbear to give me the e-mail address/password for the YouTube channel. I've just made a little "podcast" type thing, specifically to discuss this series, show some ideas, and test my recording levels etc. Hopefully it'll be loud enough for those of you with quieter laptop speakers. I have some pretty miserable speakers, too, so I know that it's a little hard to hear at times, when I'm deep in thought.


Unfortunately, I don't have the full recording studio quality stuff, but, I think it's all okay... the dynamic levels (as always when I talk with no sort of scripting, or anything to look at) are all over the place, because I'm naturally quieter while I'm considering what to say.


You'll notice the same thing, when you watch anyone else doing a vlog. They generally practice what they're going to say before hand. And, well, I'm just too lazy. This isn't the thing I'd like to do the most (podcast about the rules and regulations, before they're set, and speculate about ideas) and so I don't feel equally motivated to do this, as I did for the other things.


While watching the other videos on the YouTube channel, though, I've noticed something; it'd be great to either close the timing/scoring screen things during a good battle, or leave it up, and just "adopt" it, as the official timing and scoring for the series. This is another idea we need to discuss, if we're doing race recaps.

Polar, I would like stay here, at the forum with you and to take part of this all day, but I can´t do it, I work at the most part of the day, from 8:00am to 12:30am and I continue from 2:00pm to 10:00pm...., so, imagine my day, it is imposible for me to take part of this, I want do it but I can´t!!
About the ideas, I have a pair of ideas but my vocabulary is too poor so is a little dificult for me to express it!
I´m agree with the guys who think use full damage because you have limits and that became you and force you to be more clean!!

About the penalty system of the game, I don't like because, for example, when you crash someone, when you brake later, when you spin,the car became in ghost and I don´t like that, I preffer go back the position when I made a mistake and for strong mistakes use the replay and penalty after the race!!

If we go to heavy mechanical damage then we would need caution flags. Racing incidents happen. If a multi-car crash occurs with mechanical damage on the cars then we should have a caution. Remember there are no debris/fluid on track problems either. It is not my decision; however, if we decide to implement cautions then we would need to practice them.

I think there will be too many issues if we get to call caution. Lets practice after season 1. One race, heavy damage, normal procedures of you crash. Second race will be used with caution flag.

Has your lap times improved since we raced there in pre-season, Polar? Only I remember you and I having to fight tooth and nail for much of the race.

Thanks, man. You at least know what kind of times the other guys are going to post in the LMPs. I've said that they'll be faster than I was driving the Bentley, so if you remember the time I posted, expect another second or so quicker than that is my guess.

TGTT is a little too small.
