Thank you guys for your congratulations!!

And, congratulations to everybody because I think it was an excellent championship, too balanced, good drivers, fast, clean.....I like that, and all of this makes a recomendable championship, congratulations POLAR!!

Thanks!

And the DP cars should be about where Seth was having them, those were about spot on.

Yeah, well done for a good first season of a championship you've created. Let's hope the next one gets more interest, and the specs for everyone is tried and tested and gives closer racing next season.

A thought I had was once everyone chooses their cars for the second season, we do some races and we adjust the hp for each car then, so their equal for the people driving them... Just a idea, probably won't work though.

cnd01
That and a 6 horsepower audi.

Maybe a bit more than that lol! But it'll probably be 460 next season!

Oh an the Peugeot manamut had a typo for HP it should be 575 like the team Peugeot one!

Sunlight...? What's that? SO MUCH STEWARDING...

No kidding! But that second thread is a argument saver! At least a main thread arguement saver... But lots of emotions running high!

Orly? :nervous:

If thats a direct response to James comment.... ?....

And James, will you be making races more often this season? I ask because I'm going to miss MANY MORE THAN I'D WANT TO... Yesterday was my first missed race:grumpy: and my mom's planned another buzz kill summer... All my friends are staying here, and where am I going?....

Relatives/lake house (1.5-2 weeks) minimal internet -1 missed race for sure

Indy for Nascar/ Rolex super weekend, from there to Mid Ohio for Indycar and Rolex (back to back weekends) two missed races

Right from there... Beach for 3ish weeks... lots of variables when it comes to internet there... literally you can take two steps and go from a perfect connection to a no connection...

Soooo I'm going to be here for the majority of July, and it'd be great if one of us would be at all the races. MrM i'm assuming can do a fine job (ITCC goes great) and he knows the system and can ask me questions a numerous amount of ways.

I am going to be camping during the weekdays I will be home during the weekends to race though if not then hopefully MrM can take care of things when we don't make it and I know I have said this before but I think we need a longer schedule even if we go to tracks twice we just need a longer schedule

Well, I was thinking of adding 2 street circuits. That would bring our total to 10 races. That seems like a good number!

Well I would like a few more that way everyone has a chance to come back if they miss a race or two

Well, I dont want it too long... Maybe add the capering without the jump and that spin... So that'd be 11, I think 12 is the absolute max it should be.

We could have 10 rounds, but if say we have crappy participation we can have a do-over for anyone. I don't know how it will work with points, but I think it is a good idea.

My schedule

1. Daytona road
2. Tokyo r256 (or whatever r it is)
3. Nurbugring gp/d
4. Suzuka
5. Le mans
6. Indy road
7. Special stage 5
8. Fugi gp
9. Monza
10. Laguna Seca

Alright, bad news....

Im leaving next Monday... Why no one tells me these things is beyond me....

But that means, if we want to hit out goal of starting the same week as the itcc, I'll need help from all of you getting cars spec'd. And we're going to have to figure out what Gt car will be added my this Friday.

Can we make suggestions for tracks for next season? I've got a couple in mind.

Also, will we test the cars around a certain race track based on the actual Grand-Am specs first as a base? I think that would be a good idea. What I would also say, is that we test the winning car of the season 1 first at the Grand-Am specs if possible. It could be an extensive test which looks at speed, cornering, tyre wear and driver's rating (based on how the car feels to each driver at that spec). Maybe if we used a similar suspension and transmission setup throughout, then we'd see how people performed with them.

With that as a base, each week we could test a different car at the Grand-Am specs (if possible) at the same course, and if there's too big or too small a difference in any one of the criteria (not driver's rating, though), readjust the current testing car so that it matches, and so on.

I honestly like the Rx-8 now. Just worried that we arent going to be able to make it competetive without having to install so many upgrades.

And I like your idea of testing, but that'd be like 10 weeks! Abit too long... But there's potential!

And FH, the GT cars, as they stand now, need to be slowed down. So the rx8 will fit much better once we slow the current cars down.
