Finished table above.

Edit: Calm the ego there Cowboys, since when did we ever finsih high up in a PURE race . (You need to be really good to do that :sly:)

Also my thoughts on the cars. You could maybe think about adding a little power, 5bhp to the Mazda and giving the Camaro some back, again 5bhp. Would probs give them a tenth and a bit back putting them a little closer to the Viper and Audi :).

Very good driver.

*cough* Only here. *cough* :P

Although aren't you like the FF/Touring Car master?

Well sorta in Fwds for e.g Integra RM cup, I am much more on the front running pace of R1600Turbo, Litchi, Wardez etc 👍.

Edit: Storm Ferrari needs more than just 20ks to take away a 1.2 second gap :scared:. More like 1300 min and a 10 bhp chop . It's probs like the Ruf in Conti that I'm racing I had to add like 100kgs and take off 30bhp to get it even with the 2nd fastest car in ST .

Well yeah, but still, this kind of track you can expect MRs to go rapid on. Was thinking 440 bhp and 1260 kg, but I dunno.

I always thought the Ferrari was a lil faster. I think I was using it at Spa and holding you off for a little bit. That should have been the first clue that it needed to be tweaked.

Oh and the whole super size thing was a joke. That one flew right over some of you.

I'll test it's next spec but for now I'm glad no one has driven the Ferrari :P. And although my car is now the slowest the results of the other 4 weren't too bad.

Maybe you could give these guys some of your super setup advice to help a bit Paul?💡 Oh wait thats not an option right:sly: Brain might be iffy memorys ok though.;)

Now if only I could add 20 bhp and 165 kg to the Mazda. I was heading for some kind of set up near those stats, until I got ill to make me bail on testing.

Oh, you mean the specs that I was getting similar times with, using a heavier, less powerful setup in testing? :sly:

I tuned for tire wear, not lap times. :sly: Believe me, my racing tunes are two seconds slower per lap, than my qualifying tunes.

I know all about your quali setups.:sly:

The time I referred to was your Daytona quali time. 1:46.7? I believe I got something similar (either faster or slower, but not much quicker or slower) on a balanced setup (because I can't be bothered to setup a quali setting AND a tyre wear setup) with 450 bhp and 1150 kg. Given I pushed the low 1:46's on a balanced setup in my Dodge in practice, but ballsed by lap up in that quali so I got less than a tenth slower than pole... I'd be careful about hyping up your quali setups.

Yes, but, I managed to get my Mazda to run the same length for stints, as you in your Dodge, which is, honestly, quite challenging. The problem is, when a car's that lightweight, and doesn't have downforce, it likes to skid about from time to time, so, controlling understeer and oversteer was crucial for tire life.

SO, I had to sacrifice my 1:45s in testing, at Daytona, for better tyre life. And, it almost worked. :sly:

Which is why I wanted extra weight. Acts as an extra level of downforce, which helped both drive and steering :sly:

I was going for something like 475 / 1200. However, the season came along abruptly for me (thank you gastric flu), so I figured it would be proper to fall in line with the team specs

Could you run 12 laps then, on your softs? I did stop a lap or two shorter purely for keeping overall pace somewhat competitive, but I could run 11-12 laps on softs. I was doing that at Monza too; stopping earlier for better overall race pace. I believe I was running 11 lap stints in testing for Monza. Only did 9-10 lap sints because it wouldn't have been good for competition to stay out that long.

I could, but my lap times would fall to 3:00. So, I do the same, and pit "early." It's honestly not nice to know, though, that you have that much more flexibility in your strategies. :nervous: :scared:

As for you, damu, compare your tire life and lap times, and tell me, afterwards, if you honestly think that adding 115 kg. is better.

Why reinvent the wheel? Slow the Camaro down a little bit from what was run at Nurb. Was anyone mad at any of the other car specs? Different drivers will be faster with different cars.

The Ferrari is favored, if you can't get 58's in it you gotta retune or just get faster @that track. I think it'll even out over a season. But 1260kg 458? Wow.

Hey, is it too late to get in on this racing series? I know i cant compete for points overall but this is the kind of racing i'd like to do.

All I saw over the past races was, Audi needs a bump, Camaro may need a little less power.

But more weight? It's already above 1300KG. The 458 is lighter with similar HP, it's not looking very even.

Umm Seth I had a base tune on it and my first lap was a 1:58.0 then I loosened it up and did a 1:57.3 which is 1.2 seconds faster than the 2nd fastest car the Audi...

I barely had to tune at all, I've used the same one for all the races. :D

There is a 2 person per car limit, look at the OP again, there is a list of drivers below each car.

We are glad to have you in the series. Right now it looks like the 458 and the viper are the only models that need a full time driver at the moment.

This is true.

3000 posts on the App! (1 more for 3000 on computer...) WOOT! This is how many we had in ALL of last season!
