What should the best tire we use for Season 3 be?

Do you guys think Nizmo would mind being in a team with me? We're both at Ferrari and I just thought the only manufacturer needing a team was us. I'll post the finished pic/interview later.

I honestly don't think it's Tacom, guys. I think it might be Paul. I don't mean to throw Paul under the bus, but, I don't know if it's actually Mr. Christmas-tree-Audi causing the problems.

If it were Paul that was the problem, I wouldn't have been able to stay in the lobby for more than 2 mins AND would've meant I wouldn't have been able to qualify, from the get-go. I did both of the aformentioned things, WITH Paul in the room. It has to be mentioned that tacom was NOT in the room at this time.

Now, compare that to when tacom DID arrive.... what happened? What was I not able to do? Think about it logically for a moment.

I suggest you guys follow these steps to improving disconnection and freezes, etc. Thanks to GianDoe for showing me these steps and improving my PS3's speed and connection! 👍

We started with so many people, sad only 8 finished. If some of you are having problems with the game locking up load your PS3 into safe mode then select "Restore Default Settings". Once that finishes go back to safe mode and then select "Rebuild Database". Make sure you do this in that order, it won't erase your game data or replays etc, just makes sure the file system is optimized. I used to lock up a lot and this fixed it completely.

Also if you use a router make sure to put the ps3 in a "DMZ" which basically means it bypasses the router so the modem talks directly with the system and there's no middle man. If you need help doing this please let me know and I'll help you!

Everyone has it brother, check the link to the official sony blog I hyperlinked. I can try to find the one in german if you want it bruv. One of the ways you lose connection is because the ps3 locks up, doing those steps in safe mode prevents that type of disconnect. To access safe mode turn the ps3 off. Then hold down the power button until it turns on, and keep holding the power button down until the ps3 turns off again. Once you've done that hold down the power button again, it will beep, then you'll hear two quick beeps in a row. Once you hear two quick beeps in a row, release the power button. Follow the instructions and make sure to do the repairs in the order I said before. If your ps3 doesn't lock up this is nearly unnecessary, but doesn't hurt. Might as well, it helps the ps3 run cooler and easier. Mine used to spin up the fan a lot before I did this.

The other type of disconnect is from lack of bandwidth or shaky connection. It might simply be the provider, but to maximize everything you have make sure to update your router settings and put the PS3 in a "DMZ". That means "demilitarized zone" or in other words, an area your router doesn't mess with. That way you get 100% of what's available from your modem to your ps3.

Just so you know, it deletes messages, corrupted files, and music playlists (not the songs themselves!). It doesn't delete save files (though make a back-up just in case), friends, trophies, and all other important bits. Though you may have to reinstall GT5 DLC, but that's only a minor setback.




Try those, guys. Might help.
 
I think the earlier you get in the better. I have no hard facts or anything. Just experience. The guys at the bottom of the list always seem to have all the problems. But, that may be because they are always leaving and coming back in.

I'll try hard to make it to the race. But my mom is taking the girls this weekend. 👍 So my wife wants to go somewhere "fancy" for dinner. I might let her super size her meal. :lol:

That's simply not fancy, though! I just made dinner a la moda italiana for my family, with portion sizes of about 6 bites. It was the best dinner one can have. :) :sly: Super sizing garbage is still garbage, 'Merca.

That sucks that you going to miss Mid Ohio Polar. The new Viper is suppose to debut there. I would like to go to Petit Le Mans this year, even though it's not on WEC schedule this year.

It's not too bad... I'm bumming about the race, but we didn't know how nice the sleeping arrangements would be (My dad told me to go to the beach...) I'm VERY picky about where I sleep (Yes, I will not sleep in dirty campers or anything I don't think is clean) The guy that's bringing it is the guy that runs one of my dads dealerships' friend. My dads known the dealer for 10 years and has never heard of this guy and the ONLY reason he's coming is because he has the camper. Also, we stayed at the dealers ranch for Indy last weekend and he didn't say a word about Mid Ohio.... And this guy lives and breathes Sports car racing... So I'm going to say that the sleeping would be less than spectacular...

And GHS, we don't really like mid season switching... And Tacom said the only reason he came was because he saw it in the lobby search... So I'd say Ferrari is still full. Remember Dave?

Paul isn't non-humanly fast. At the Camaro's specs I was surprised I didn't hit high or mid 1:58's. I believe that Paul did a 1:59? At the specs I recommended I could still pull out low 1:59's.

Hmm a 15 bhp chop now Mazda and Audi are fastest :D. Btw I did 1:58.3 as my best lap in the Camaro while Cowboys did high 59s/low 2mins. I think I did mid 58s in Mazda and Audi too. (All times are without cheating by running off at T4 unlike Gs and Cows :sly:.)

Given I've gone faster than them in the Viper at nearly every track thus far, I doubt it.

3rd in quali at Daytona by less than a tenth from 1st place (0.007 between second and third, both of which were Vipers), 2nd in Quali by a few tenths over a Mazda at Monza, 2nd again by a few tenths over a Mazda at Nurburg, with IMO a really **** lap by my standards.

No mention of that. Wow. I really feel underrated.
 
Haven't tried the Viper but I am about to go out on GP/F to discover the real pace of each at current specs. 👍

I warn if my findings annoy me I will quit as I have allready been in a series where all the cars were within a few tenths. Sadly because I was able to go on the limit of my car but the others werent my car got limited back so I could only do their times, then when others tried my car they were 1 second+ off their pb in their own car 👎.

Some of the cars HAVE been changed to suit some people, so you may be annoyed. They should be fairly close though, within .5-1 second for sure.
 
Well first 2 cars done.

Audi 1:58.5
Mazda 1:58.9

More to come but with Camaro losing 15bhp and gaining 10 kgs it won't run near 58.3s more like 58.7-58.9 at best. (Will see after Viper and 458)
