Yea, I hear ya. I've been pretty bad at keeping the OP up to date. I just went through now. Reserve driver lists are good now too:

It's no big deal. I was just curious. Wow I have missed a round and I am only 20 points off the lead. đź‘Ť

That's what you call consistency. Lewis Hamilton was third in the first three rounds of F1 this year and he ended up taking the lead of the championship after the third round.

DP constructors is really close right now. I hope you can make it this weekend Polar. So it's a fair fight between Toyota and Sauber.

My team is doing great cowboy is in the top 5 and Paul is 2 spots outside the top 5. Camaro is 3rd in manufacture championship.

That's right. We need to make every race from now on. My average finish is 2.5 right now. I was lucky that the round I missed was the mass dc.
 
Well, Unfortunately I lost a teammate, which blows, and now I'm 30 points adrift in the points. Still 3rd mind and if my quali was anything to go by I would've been on for a podium at least... Alas... someone's connection saw me incapable of staying in the room unlike when I first joined it, and probably caused others to d/c in the process also. Takes the p*ss, really...

Next time, if I'm connected, stable and can see the majority of you, but can't see a select 1 or 2 of you, I'll be staying in the lobby. I'll take precautions to stop any lag-merging-collisions that I've been accused of, which ironically I have been doing anyway if I know there are people I can't see.

Edit~ If my hunch is right about a tacom being the cause of my d/c last weekend, then he needs to enter the room as late as possible. If I enter after him, chances are I'll be d/c-ing without fail and if other people enter after him, I won't see them on track. Note: I saw ALMOST EVERYONE in the lobby last weekend.

Do people not show up on the map also? Im wondering if you can just zoom in on the map and their arrow will show. I personally like to be zoomed out all the way to see the traffic around the whole track.
 
FH It's where people have a loading bar under their name and will not show being ontrack for that person. For others it sometimes makes for confusing times when the two cars are driving fine on their own screens but are touching each other everywhere for the rest of us :lol:.

I will be doing the same as Storm in Conti if Jake shows and I can't see his GS car tough :lol:.
 
Literally, what happens is that both people who cannot see each other will come up with having a loading bar under the name of the person they cannot see. That, aside from at the start of a race, is quite harmless, since the people who can't see each other will move harmlessly through each other. Its distracting for people who can see both drivers though.

Thing is, when I re-entered the lobby in the new room last weekend, it was me Mel and Nirv, and I could see those two fine, but then tacom joined, and everyone after him joined. Most of them DIDN'T have that loading bar, and appeared as though they weren't coming to the track, even though Damu/Nirv said that they were. That's worse than the loading bar, because it'll not only just means you cannot see them, it means that they will see you normally and you will feel contact from them as if they are there.

I honestly don't think it's Tacom, guys. I think it might be Paul. I don't mean to throw Paul under the bus, but, I don't know if it's actually Mr. Christmas-tree-Audi causing the problems.

I think we just need to review each caution that is caused after the fact. We only had one caution at Monza. We could say that you lose a lap if you are involved in a caution.

My personal favorite method for preventing those snowbird cautions is that the people involved can't pit during the caution and still start at the back of their class.

So a caution should end their race?

Well if you already have a big lead all you have to do is just drive like you did and you'll still get a lead.
 
Mel I was under him all the time and he didn't DC last week when I was above him ;).

For all wondering, Mid Ohio turned out to be a bad deal, so I'm off to the beach. So I will either make the next 3 races, or miss them.
 
That's good, now that Audi is the leader of the Manufacturer's with 3 cars it will now have to fight with only 2. Although impressive since me and tbw had the reliability in race. Sadly tacom will have to take the seat at Audi with tbw as team leader as I take on the Schumi-like responsibility of getting Ferrari back up the top.

I think the same thing about the driver that gets a big lead. He should be able to drive away again. It shouldn't be a problem unless we see certain person(s) who tend to be in a caution every time they get behind.
 

2 Sentences: Tbw and tacom are now in Audi, and now they are in the lead. Since I switched to Ferrari, I'm going to try and get Ferrari to win the Manufacturer's championship.

I switched, remember? It's not fair to everyone else that Audi gets 3 drivers. Plus I've always wanted the 458.
 
That sucks that you going to miss Mid Ohio Polar. The new Viper is suppose to debut there. I would like to go to Petit Le Mans this year, even though it's not on WEC schedule this year.

Yea SRT motorsports has 2 entries for Mid-Ohio.
 
Going by the updated points, it looks like Anthony got nothing for driving off after spinning me. :ouch: I wonder if I'd get away with the same thing.
