I think I'll be way off the pace again... If I make it. I'm driving home that day, not sure if I'll be home in time.

If you make it, you will probably at least get last place points. Depends if you can beat the GT field Nah Polar you will be alright. If you run as good as you did at Daytona then you will be alright.

I practiced for Daytona and that was with my old wheel.... Imagine what it would've been like if I had my g27? ... Take that in...

I feel like you would have been a full second better than the other 3 of us. Might I suggest you practice more often

I need the G27, racing with cnd, I noticed that you can brake later with that wheel than with my Logitech Driving Force GT, something that I noticed before with my brother who has G27 too.

I appreciate it Ant 👍 I have to push all out with you in the field. I did use more rear brake at Indy than I had been using. That may be why I was braking later. I also went up by 1 on the front brake bias from what I had been using.

@Shin I think any wheel is better than no wheel. Unless you have Polar's old wheel. That thing is awful

At least it's blue, well partially blue. It sounds like you are zipping up your fly every time you turn I would actually take it over a ds3 just for the added realism of using a wheel. I already use cockpit view, so I almost need a wheel. I used to use the chase view when I had the ds3.

I tested the same brake configuration with the both wheels so I think is not the configuration!! Anyway I think the difference will be at the tire life. My time at tokio two days ago was with the sauber, not with my Nissan but I think gonna be too close!! Mybe I could race this saturday at your Ferrari series, what track?

Really? It wouldn't surprise me. The G27 definitely improved stopping distance fro m the ds3. We were within 2/10s of a second of each other at Tokyo. I am getting decent tire wear.

The Ferrari Challenge will have a fun race which is not for points or anything else this weekend at possibly Laguna Seca. I just want to have a race for everyone to get used to using the cars in a group with SH tires.

My DFGT has been a trusty friend for over 2 years 👍. I wouldn't mind a "better" wheel but it does everything I need and it was the best value .

I have had my 'old' wheel for 8 years now! It's a Logitech driving force (the old one)

Not even joking, but I'm thinking of painting my g27, since I think the warranty went out the window when I had to send it back, I'm not sure though.

My G27 has recently started squeaking every now and then when I turn left. Looks like NASCAR has taken its toll even though I have race one oval since I got it . That's nothing a dash of WD-40 won't fix I really like the G27 for the excellent force feedback. The pedals are very sensitive which gives me great throttle control. I have never used a DFGT wheel.

I put a ice pack on it when we have our races... I'm scared of it over heating!

Good idea. I will have to try that tomorrow. As of right now, I am actually going to make it. I originally thought that the golf tourney at my course this weekend was going to hold me up. Since the tourney has low numbers, my boss has said that he only needs one employee per day to help out with the tourney. I will just ask my best friend/co-worker to have Saturday and possibly Sunday.

A fan would distract me. I like hearing the engine sounds. It helps me with shifts. I don't look at the tachometer very much when I drive, so I need the engine sound to time my shifts.

I only listen to the engine... Especially in F1

I'm looking into some fan mods, but like I said... I'll just break it
