It already is victorious. I'm talking about the driver's championship.

Well as it stands, I am winning by 30 points. Ant could come back, but I am victorious in 3 of the last 4 rounds we have raced. I think that it will be close.

Did Ant figure out the HP conversion in those races? And if he wins the last 3 races it will be a tie. We just need to find out who won more.

Okay, I've watched the replay, Mel just made some mistakes, such as braking too late, and spinning out in the middle of the road. He seemed like he reversed into tbw in the second replay, but I'll post the video tomorrow.

No, I looked beside, and noticed that he was there, so I stayed still. I did put the car in reverse, by accident, but, didn't move far...

GHS, I must say, congrats on the win, but you were using a bit much of the run off areas. I'm not going to penalize you, because I never said anything about them, but next season, if we race here, try to keep it on the track a bit more. :)

Actually, I wasn't the only one. If you watched others as well, they also took off the track - a lot. That's why I have a gripe with this track, too forgiving.

On the other hand, thanks! ;)

I have to congratulate ghskilla on this win.

Before the caution, he pulled away from Melancholy once I caught up to him, and from then on used the clean racing line to widen that gap significantly, which is good on him. Even my medium stint to go on ahead didn't work, which shows the time he developed while Mel and I struggled to gain a solid hand on 2nd place. Usually I can deploy it and end up being half way through when everyone else is pitting.

After the caution, my plan backfired royally, and I ended up quite far behind. Damu was on a skype call with me, and he was stating much of the track usage that, since I was so far behind, I couldn't see. If I had gone for mediums, who knows, but the main thing is that ghs took the safer, smarter move whereas I tried something different and screw it up, AND fought Damu off til the end to win it.

I did use run-off areas a few times. Mine honestly were not intentional.

I drove in reverse on the runoff area for a lap XD

I saw that. I immediately thought you quit and Ant was to be in the lead of points. :D

That caution saved you. This DP championship will be close. 👍

I know. I wanted to back out and pout in the corner, but I remembered that we have cautions. I got incredibly lucky out there.

So you guys have Skype calls mid-race huh? Why haven't I been invited?! I'm missing out on the party!

I'm only joking. And yes, when you're in the lead, when someone types caution, you go, "No no no no no, please God no, other guy don't say it, please!" And when the other person says caution... "NOOOOOO! What the *too explicit for GTP*!" Which was immediately how I reacted. Now I feel sorry for anyone that had that happen to them. I now know how that feels, bro.

It happened that way to me at Indy and Sarthe. Thank goodness I still came away on the top step of the podium then. I did get 2 positions out of it this week though. I came to within a second of Ant on the last lap before I spun. :(

It's not horrible. I'd rather lose by a few feet, than win by a bloody mile or two. It happened at Daytona. I was fine with it. I maintained the lead, until Storm/Jakob collectively forgot to brake, and smashed me.

Yeah but I'm never happy with myself most of the time. I always think of ways to do things better. Losing by a few feet will make me disappointed, since I know I could've done better. In this race, had I lost due to strategy, I would've smashed my head in a wall, since I had the race in the palm of my hands until that caution.

I didn't intentionally spin cnd. I was trying to get pass him but the gap wasn't really there. I gave up the spot because I spun him. If I hadn't hit him, I would have gladly taken 2nd. No offense cnd, but I really wanted second. Up until the caution, I actually thought I could beat Ant on pit strategy.

Well let me just say that i have extreme dislike for not being included in yesterdays race as if the GT5 servers allowed joining while the race was starting i would have made it, but alas they don't so i missed the race due to only one person sticking up for me thanks
