Well, looking at the replay, I am glad I had enough pace to avoid Mel at the end of lap 28. After all, that would have pushed me to last. I also managed to nurse my softs, whilst Storm and Mel pitted on the Green lap :odd:

Whisky, I don't know who said it in that manner, but we remember James. Even when it was my first GTPlanet race at Monza, I was lapping James (who was in a DP car, whilst I was in a GT car). Each time I got near him, I was paranoid about which fashion James would spin into me. After Le Mans, you can understand why people are skeptical about allowing you to join, especially now that there's only 2 races left. I need to try and seal 2nd in GT overall, DP is a dogfight at the top and NAEC is still to play for. We want the championships to be about driving and not a possible James II.

It's not horrible. I'd rather lose by a few feet, than win by a bloody mile or two. It happened at Daytona. I was fine with it. I maintained the lead, until Storm/Jakob collectively forgot to brake, and smashed me.
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You're STILL going on about that? Wow....

Just to shut you up about it....

Cmon the whole track is epic and that back section in a loose Fwd or slightly loose Rwd is so pleasurable. Cheer up guys you'll love it unless people cut/run wide every lap in which case they shouldn't be racing and should be banned...

Again good luck guys, be very strict on run off use past the kerbs. OLR allows the inside wheels on kerbs on exits and outside wheels on kerbs on entries but no further.

I did meantion run off use to you :sly:. On really worn tyres a little run off by accident is ok but if there were people running 1/2 a metre or more wide then thats where I would start handing out penalties..

Well let me just say that i have extreme dislike for not being included in yesterdays race as if the GT5 servers allowed joining while the race was starting i would have made it, but alas they don't so i missed the race due to only one person sticking up for me thanks

After Shin's video at Le Mans, I don't want that happening to ant or I which might cost one of us the championship. It's ok if you aren't fast, but it's not ok if you crash someone due to lack of car control. I wasn't waited on in the CTSCC race when I dcd. It's not singling you out. We try to get done before the cows come home if you understand. Ask Storm, he has dcd in probably 3 races this year. I believe you had dcd twice before the start of the race already, so Polar and I were tired of waiting.

I missed turn 2 on 2 consecutive laps, but besides that I pretty much kept it on the track except for the reverse driving bit :dopey:

Sadly I think we had decided the 3rd restart was the last Cnd :(. I felt really bad for you but atleast you still got something 👍.

I wouldn't have restarted again either . I am not mad at all just PO'd at my connection for about an hour. No worries, I am going to miss a few more rounds, so I won't be in the championship hunt per say. I will try and get a few wins though. 👍

My DC's are also constant, but this is during quali and if I can't connect and stay put once quali is over, I generally ask for people to carry on with the race without me if I DC during the formation or whatnot. We usually change room owners a couple times.

I feel sorry for the new Chevy guy, though. He and I didn't have compatibility, and that effected me joining the room. Uncharacteristically for Damu, he also DC'd in that room. Host changed to cnd, and all chaos was quelled. I'm guessing he couldn't join when I was in the room.

So, at Monza, you made no contact? Like, none at all? Pfft.

At Daytona, Jakob isn't even in your replay at all. Clearly, if you can't even show all of the drivers involved in your replay, your replay can't be trusted.

I just tried a few laps at Suzuka in the rain. I didn't make it too far. :( It's going to be a mosh pit if the track gets above 60% weather.

I'm going to pray it doesn't rain.. Or maybe it'd help me? If that happens, maybe I'd get a 2nd like I did at Bankfin tonight!

also somebody said i sucked i resent that comment

Sorry it took me a while to respond to this, but before you get all mad, think this through;

The race start time in the OP is 7:05 eastern. You magically left the room at 7:10. Mel had to tell us you were changing to the Ferrari. I had been giving a count down to 7:15 for long enough that you knew when the race was starting. I don't run this like the ITCC. The ONLY reason we would have backed out if someone were to have disconnected. You pulled the same car switch stunt in ITCC, Mel waits and backs out for everyone, I don't. Everyone else was ready to go on time, if you couldn't handle the Prototype car, you should've had a GT car ready to go.

I don't care how much or how little you play, I expect you to be able to control the car you choose to drive. I only play Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I don't play that much either, so that excuse means nothing to me.

And yes, I did mean it when I said you sucked. I'll explain why. This will just be a summarized version of the content above...

- you decided with less than 5 minutes until the start of the race to switch cars.

- you almost ruined anthony's race at Le mans, you ruined mine.

- Anthony is racing for the championship, and had you influenced his race more, this may have gotten very ugly.

This isn't one of Mel's series. You aren't my real life friend. I don't bend my rules to fit you. Please show up to Suzuka with the 458 Italia with 460HP and 1,300KG. Room will be up shortly after ITCC, you race in that so you'll know when the race room is up.

Also, PLEASE type your own messages.

Thanks, Drew.

Ah, makes sense.

Changiblity 4

Weather 25%

0 track water to start.

Dang that is scary. I don't know if I should set my car up for dry and make due if it rains, or I need to stabilize my car and pray for rain. :scared:

What if it rains for quali? :scared:

Will you opt for the wet weather tune for faster speed in quali, or run a dry weather set up for the race? What if it continues to rain in the race? I love this strategical thinking we are now forced to do.

:)

It's ment to make you lean either way ;)

Compromise won't win me the race. I need luck like I had at Le Mans. I had an all out dry setup.

GHS should be praying for rain in his Audi.

Double post.

And I am, actually. 100% rain.

Luck at both Le Mans and Fuji. Cautions, man. Cautions.

The caution at Le Mans almost costed me the race, but the caution at Fuji saved my tail. Suzuka isn't my best track by any stretch of the imagination, so I will definitely be practicing all this week.
