I am having a heck of a time with the car setup. I can't get any speed out of the car. I hope that my lap times are competitive come Saturday :nervous:

Not quite, more nervous wreck mode. I might be trying too hard though. Maybe the setup's closer than it is far away. 💡

Me no speak in riddle. Me drive car. Me no waste time tuning. Me drive. Me get mad when driving, me go even faster. 👍

And, a translation into modern, less sarcastic English: I think you should just try to drive the car. Then, when you realize that your lap times aren't at the target lap times Anthony set for you, get mad. You'll either drop a second (like me, at Monza) or spin out (like me, at Fuji.)

I can't drive when I am mad. I was "in the zone" on the restart at Fuji. That caught me up to Ant, but I spun because I was so "in the zone" I failed to check my tires :ouch::dunce:

Happened to me, too, but, it brought out the caution. I was in the zone, but still getting nowhere, so I pushed even harder. :(

Monza more fowgiving. Fuji less fowgiving. You enter Wage, and you discovewed.

Me no chinee, so **** knows why I tried to speak like that.

If I'm mad when driving, I want to take someone out. I honestly don't understand how being angry makes you faster. It just fills your mind with hate and then you make a mistake. No focus at all.

Although, I was mad at Tokyo with Damu, and I caught up to him easily. It also happened to me in the F10 series, I was blocked and punted off the track and I closed down a 5 second gap within 6 corners at Sarthe. End result - I was so mad I made mistakes and spun. I think it's better to be calm, controlled, and smooth, rather than aggressive and reckless.

That's what I tried in Fuji. I'm also going to try that from now on. Maybe your tires go because of your driving style and tendency to attack the kerbs?

Hey hey, I learned how to kerb-hop correctly, while karting.

Also, I was a second per lap faster at Monza, after my crash with Storm. After giving him the bump & run, I was both scared enough to want to get away quick, and angry enough to want to catch up to, and beat cowboys.

Remember how fast the Mazda is over everything in straights and what Monza is mainly made of.. :sly:

But, I improved on my own lap times. I didn't improve on anyone else's laps. Well, I did...
You had the fastest lap in that race for GT with a 1:48.4, I had a 1:48.7.... god know's how, my car structurally was mangled. If I didn't need a chasis restoration before the crash, I definitely needed one after.

I pretty much feel the same way. It takes a lot to make me mad in the race though. Contact happens, but I only get mad at the end of races or if I get blatantly taken out. I try to drive as smooth as humanly possible at all times. It's easier on the tires, and it is 99% of the time faster. At Fuji, I wasn't holding anything back that last stint. That was 110% attack mode. Too bad I couldn't catch ant.

right well im make the decision to drop out till next season and practice more ill be back and im sorry to have messed anybody up

We know, whiskey was at ITCC and Mel was backing him up.

Unless you guys are BFFs now... We know it isn't you. Lol!

Ok just thought I would clear that up.

Wait, what? Would this not make me and James the same person? (Oh, and the improper order of the grammatical conjunction connecting the two names was intentional, if you understand.)

whisky? If so, then I wasn't referring to the name as I figured that may have been bent a bit deliberately. The post I quoted is what I was referring to. That and the whole fun at the races thing.

Anyone got times yet? I haven't gotten any dry times yet. I am working on wet weather right now.

What's the forecast tomorrow? If I remember right, it is 25% weather with 1 changeability?
