Please guys, just do what we like....race! I think a lot of things gonna change for season 3, and the most important, the Stewards. When something happen, the stewards will see the evidence and take some action.

About the sing up, I have priority for season 3, I think, then you because Yellow never ran in season 2.

All I can say is 👍 Ant. Spoken like a true champion. In fact, Ant is the true champion. :)

I hope you have clean races in the future and you can realize that your location adds to the chance of lag being present. Just remember that. Don't just think someone is pushing you around or bumping you, just like in ALMS recently at Spa. There were times I couldn't avoid your rear bumper because of the lag that was present with you. It wasn't HUGE, but especially in braking zones it's troublesome because of the 'jumpiness' of your car. You may appear to be at one point of the track, and then appear somewhere closer an instant later. Just keep that in mind if someone bumps you.

You're the only person that sees Anthony lag. I hardly ever see him lag, and when he does, it's for half a second and then all is well.

Actually....

A fair few of my replays where Ant is actually visible to me on-track, which isn't all the time for some reason, I notice it big styley. I don't see it during the race, though. That said, I'm in GT, I'm not directly in competition with him and I don't see him for longer than 10-20 seconds tops.

Not sure if it's quite lag as such though, but I've seen him going sideways at 80 mph for a split second, which is probably lag or a little lapse in control.

I wasn't given order. I left because nothing was done to Anthony, but cnd got penalised. I questioned that.

The way I remember it, you got ordered to take a break.

Not trying to start something, but Seth, you got kicked. I said you could maybe come to a race later in the season.

You definitely got kicked...

I did some laps around Daytona, no I did alot of laps .

My findings are:

Lotus: 1:46.976 (Pretty damn near perfect lap, on my first lap out did a 1:47.454 :scared:) Top speed into T1 176mph
Ferrari: 1:48.128 (Felt there was a bit more in it a few tenths or so) Top speed into T1 172mph
Mazda: 1:48.618 (Had a lap which was easily .2 better but screwed it up and after which couldn't find that pace again.) Top speed in T1 177mph
Chevy: 1:48.827 (Was pretty on the limit even with my setups and pushing it as hard as I could it was just way off in straight line speed.) Top speed into T1 169mph
Audi: 1:48.951 (Just couldn't seem to find it's pace or maybe it just lacks pace like the Camaro, although it was faster in the straight but had poor aceleration) Top speed into T1 171mph

For solutions I rekon Lotus needs a 10bhp decrease for now maybe more later. Audi needs to run at min weight (1413) and gain 10bhp. Camaro needs to gain 10bhp. Mazda could do with maybe 10-20kgs less.

hmm, I got kicked... I think we remember differently. As I recall it, I left because you took no action against Anthony after he spun me at Nurburgring. I was thinking about returning, but then you decided against it. First it was ok, then you said you didn't want me back because 'people complained'. I even PM'ed you about the Anthony incident, asking you why he doesn't receive a penalty for spinning someone then driving off. You didn't do anything, so I didn't continue.

Really, it doesn't matter what happened, or why I stopped racing. I just hope the 'stewards' this season can see things like this and take proper action. He didn't get so much as a warning, but I think that at least a warning should be given in situations like this.

Wow that Lotus is fast. Is everyone else pretty much on par with those results?

Stewards will be different this year. DP stewards will handle GT incidents and vice versa.

I did in my first run out on track for ALMS. I already commited to the BMW at that point, because Mel invited me to be his teammate there.

I pulled a 1:48.153 with the Evora on Mediums at Daytona on my first lap out.... all I did was up the transmission from stock. Everything's still not been adjusted.

Yeah, the Lotus was always a great car, surprised no one noticed it sooner in ALMS.

I think everyone noticed its dominance. All it took was one lap at Indy to prove it was slightly OP.

It needs about 15-30kg added, and 5-10hp less.

I restricted the room to meds and only bought meds for the Lotus. It's acel and top speed are great and I seemed to click with it's loose pointy nature.

Was sad to see the Camaro so slow and the Audi confused me I thought with less tyre grip it's 4wd advantage would shine through but maybe Daytonas not the track for 4wd.

I had stock LSD on Lotus, Ferrari and Audi iirc. That is the only thing I don't understand. (Only know lowering acel sensitivaty helps with rear traction)

One thing to note is Daytona is one of the few tracks I can match the really fast guys in PURE. Spa is another where I have punched above my weight :).

Back in old WSGTC S2 Daytona I qualified 3rd .2 behind Aderrrm. (He had ballast in the race so I beat him too lol.. Too bad in Monaco the week after he blooming lapped me )

Hehe I can see, I'm within spitting distance of 1:47's, but I can't seem to find the speed. I lose 0.2 somewhere in the lap, and I worry so much about braking into Turn 1 I brake too early. I've noticed that I attack the Bus Stop more than most. In Rolex, all the GT guys were wondering why they lost 0.4 in that sector alone. I'm pushing 110 mph going into the turn.

In some GTs I was hitting 115-120mph through Bus Stop :D. Also on my 46.9 I braked very late to T1 so much so that the rear almost snapped on me.

From what I have tested, the rovals are not Audi's strong suit. The evora was 10 mph faster than the Camaro at Daytona at the finish line each lap. The Camaro was running equal lap times though. I was using the stock suspension settings though. I think the Evora needs a slight nerf. I would say take away 10-20 horsepower and it should be good.

The cars behind the Ferrari need a little help anyway so not to nerv the Lotus too much that you end up forgeting the 458 and it romps away again.. :sly:

Hence why I said let Audi run min weight and add more power to it. Add more hp to Camaro and take more weight out the Mazda.

Which will eventualy bring the Mazda, Camaro and Audi to the 458s pace while taking the Lotus down to the 458s pace :).

I just nailed a 1:47.3 with the Lotus on Mediums. I shifted later than I wanted to after the bus stop though, because midway through the chicane my left eye stung like crazy and put me off. I dunno how I kept it through there in that state!

Fast laps are cool, but tire wear is another issue. How these cars last on their tires through a stint is a better gauge.

I've been keeping this in mind too Seth. The main issue on the Evora is the rear tyres flaking away. With the level of weight reduction you can do, and ballast you can put on, you can eaily shift the weight to even out tyre wear. Works a treat for me in ALMS. In tandem, having less weight at the back makes it less prone to swinging out under braking or on the power.

I am thinking from a tire wear perspective, the Evora is the RX-8 from last season. Rear tire wear is an issue. Stability is another issue with it. The RX-8 seemed slow compared to the rest of the field. I don't know what to do with it. I'm about to get online and test some more if anyone else is on.
