The Rolex Sports Car Series- Season 2! Finished! Thanks Everyone!

What should the best tire we use for Season 3 be?

I think Anthony dropped his weight before Nurb. The room must have been different to the 1st because I had minimal tire spin at Rome, to huge oversteer at Nurb. Like it was 2 different cars. Still was able to push out some 1:51s though.

May be the case. I know that GP/F is an oversteer track. I have raced many an event there. Trust me on that one. I don't know about Rome though. I was getting plenty of oversteer.

He may have, I accidentally said 1050 to him, and he said he had 10 extra, which would be correct because he should have 1060. So it may be my fault :/

Anthony, your car spec is still 500HP, 1060KG

Ferrari and Mazda specs are fine. Consider that I almost won last season AND that Mitch & Hurley weren't in spec. Ferrari is the 🤬's car. I say daibaspeed needs a new teammate in the Ferrari.

In Mitch's first ever Rolex appearances, he was out of spec and irritating.

Also, my Mazda was at 465 hp today. It's still 🤬 in the corners, but barely has more straightline speed. I couldn't even compete if you nerfed the RX-8 again. 475, imo, was good. 465 hp is okay. Less than that, I'll just lose.

Make the Camaro lighter, if possible. I don't think there's any way for cows to win in that car, until it's lighter.

Give the Viper a 10 kg break. Audi, Ferrari and Mazda outquali'd it by 0.4 + seconds.

So, leave the Ferrari, Mazda and Audis alone. It's the closest Rolex racing I've ever seen in GT5. Just improve the American cars.

Haha, I'm a lonely guy, like Anthony. Now just need to be like him and dominate GT. 💡 But I make bad choices when it comes to pitting.

Mrcomplainer15, be quiet! Lol! But I think that's a pretty good spec. I'll put that down? Ok?

Hahaha, I complain a lot? I just know that the Mazda doesn't have a leg up on opponents anymore. Probably moreso a leg down. So, your specs are all pretty good. The Audis, just like last season, are incredible in the corners.

So, skilla, don't hate. Your car is 4WD and suffers from increased rolling resistance/drivetrain loss. So, my car's faster on the straights.

The Mazda's a great car, and I love it, and wouldn't want to see it changed again.

Alright, you don't complain a lot, you just were, so I ceased the opportunity!

Camaro is as light as it goes, I believe...

I would say that all the specs are good considering I caught up to a Camaro, a Viper, a Ferrari, and an Audi all battling for the same spot.

The Mazda was given no room by the Ferrari, but would've been there too, if it weren't spun.

Ah I bet you would have been in the middle of it. The viper may need a weight break to even out tire wear though.

Yea, seems that way. I think storm brought it up earlier too? Or maybe it was Mel, or maybe both!

Viper already has best tire wear. :scared: Storm was out an extra lap at Nürburg. I know this, because I was almost lapped by him. The tire wear is ridiculous if you spin 2160 degrees.

Well i just cut them 10 kg, so they're now at 1250 kg. perhaps it'll boost them abit!

And erm, Seth, care to share your tune?? Teammate?

Really? I didn't know that. I had great tire wear until I had two brief hot/cold cycles on the tires before having to run all out for 3 laps. :dopey:

I don't see anyone dominating DP or GT. Once I get the Toyota steady it'll be hard to beat.

Same for the Sauber. I just need more seat time. The specs are pretty spot on. I am hoping for more of a balance between pace and tire wear though.

Seth uses DS3. You don't want a DS3 tune. Please trust me.

Hmm, then back to the drawing board... I really do need to figure out what each thing does... I've been pretty much running a stock set up so far... So I think I've done fairly well..

I can help... I've been tuning cars since before you were born!

My setup was based off stock as well. I think the roll bars were 6/6. I never run them that high. Toe angle was 0.0/0.25 camber was 1.0/1.5 lsd was 12/20/10.

Hmm, I'll play with it tomorrow. I didn't think of running the camber that high.

I can tell you the idiot's guide to gt5 suspension tuning lol. I don't know much, but I have a general idea.

My camber was 1.6/2.4 this week. Of course, that hasn't changed since R246 because I haven't had time to play with it.

Stock camber is 0.5 f/r. Not that much is added.

That is true. I'll play with some stuff tomorrow (with the suspension, let's not get weird here)

So Suzuka and Monza tomorrow. Times, same as (now yesterday's) race?
