That video is the exact reason I wanted to do a stagered pace and start. I can understand a bump here and there. But that was a bit excessive.

At least he didn't push another car past the DP cars. 3 clean laps doesn't come close to making up for that caution. I am sorry, but go find another series.

Already have, don't worry. No intentions on staying here.. :P

Check out the Manufacturers Challenge (or something like that)

I won that championship..

I'll be back tonight. Also polar can you please update the OP and put Cowboy as my driver instead of Maco? Also will you be updating the CTSCC OP?

Shame you only drove clean for 3 laps though aye? And the only reason you drove clean is because there was nobody near you, that you could punt off the track.

I never once punted anyone. I don't race dirty during Green. I can garuntee you this. That was the first time I have ever been like that in a race. The only reason I wasn't dirty for the last three laps is because no one could keep up. Simple as that. Might make me sound a little self centered, but it is the raw truth. Don't make excuses. I'm not.

I just realized.

I PM'd mods, thought Mitch was a dirty driving troll. Apparently, everyone was stupidly reacting and blowing it out of proportion. And he won cleanly by 18 seconds. CLEANLY. I didn't really know what happened, just went off of what I was told by drivers.

So you all accused him of cheating when we won cleanly...

Please model CowBoy as the kind of driver you want to all act like. He makes no excuses, admits mistakes (even if he really made none), and is fast on the track to back up his words.

Well, ya did take me out on the restart....

But other than that, you were clean, and you can face clean. That was represented in the race at Rome.

So guys, he was dirty to mess with us, he had already made up his mind to not do this series. He just screwed with us. Cowboys, some of his actions were bad enough to report to the mods, but everyone flipped last night. Tensions were high from Rome, and it was late. No one really wanted to deal with it. Mitch, I do however think you should stop posting on this thread. Just to stop anymore arguing and fighting.

If people keep going on and on about him, they will not race on Friday, and if it still doesn't stop, Saturday.

I ran with 500p and 1060kg at Nurb. I found a good setup and could made mi tires live the same laps than you, remember that I allways do 1 lap less you because my tires burn too early but, with my new setup I can run the same laps than you!

Yea, sorry I didn't respond to that! That is the correct spec for the car.

I honestly think (not going to use names) those guys blew it out of proportion.

"oh noes he hit me in caution he ruined my race"

I understand now Ant. I was just confused because you quoted your post and replied with the quote also. I realized it was for polar to see.

Hahaha, ok and thank you. I was hoping you compete at DP class because I think you are fast and clean....So, I'm gonna have to wait until 3º season!!

Not saying what happened was ok, but it really wasn't THAT bad, but let's not keep dwelling on it.

Wardez is still alive! He's going to miss some races due to GT Academy, but he is still going to be a reserve for DP. Hopefully he'll make some of the races in the second half of the season.

I was wondering what happened to him.:scared: Scares me to think of him as Ant's teammate.

Mel your car was grey in Tokyo, not black. Also, I'm quite happy running the Mazda at 475/1200 as I was in the thick of it at Tokyo. Hmm, problem. Also about the 2 person caution thing, only me & Mel called that caution in Tokyo. Mel was miles in the lead and I worked my way through the carnage I believe.

Wait..... WHAT!?

As for cautions, something should be done about those. I mean they're working fine its just that with light damage on people from behind can just dink their car, yell caution, wait until their car repairs itself then be like "trolololimfinenow"...

Also, with skilla and mitch bumping themselve like mad and whatnot during cautions, they should have been sent STRAIGHT to the back, and told to pit when everyone else was allowed to race, as a penalty. It was definitely far enough into the race to be a fair punishment, and its not like the field really needed to pit for fresh tyres.

I know you're talking about me. Sorry about the hit polar on Friday I braked at the braking zone because I thought you guys were already going past the corner but my brakes failed to stop me in time, I tried to wait for you, then went to chat to call a "caution." I hit Mel on the way as well, sorry for that.

As for the "ruined my race" bit, watch the final moments of the video. (5:10 onwards)

Mitch got me in the grass, I went wide, re-entered the course, and Storm went on the inside and forced me on the sand trap.

We're going by OLR rules, right? If so, we also need to be familiar with it, sometimes I get knocked out and the car who was responsible doesn't wait. Let's put this in the OP so that we'll have more clean drivers knowing what to do. Also a link to the OLR is right here.

07: Contact Concessions:

A:
If there’s contact between drivers that results in the guilty driver making up places on the innocent driver, the guilty driver should immediately allow the innocent driver to pass freely to re-establish their position. This rule should be observed, even if it means the guilty driver has to allow drivers not involved in the incident to pass while waiting for the driver they contacted.

B:
If the appropriate contact concession is carried out by the guilty driver then they may avoid or reduce the severity of any penalties that might otherwise apply.

C:
If the appropriate contact concession is not carried out by the guilty party then the usual penalties would apply.

D:
If you have to slow down to let the other player through, move out of the racing line first before you slow down. Coming to a full stop is not allowed, just continue at a lower pace until the other driver passes you again.

08: Corner Rights:

A:
When approaching the turn/apex of turn, the car which "holds" the inner side of turn has entrance-advantage and other driver(s) must refrain from endangering him by his actions.

B:
You must establish substantial overlap with the car ahead before they reach the corner’s turn-in point to have the right to drive up their inside, or to expect them to leave inside room for you. At least the front of your car should be up to the driver’s position in the ahead car. The ahead driver has the right to be fully committed to the racing line of their choice without any interference if there was no substantial overlap before he turned in.

C:
If sufficient overlap is established before the turn-in point, then the behind driver has the right to sufficient side room. The ahead driver must also leave sufficient side room for the behind driver. This means that each driver has a right to their respective "line", or side of the track, right up to the exit point. Neither driver should squeeze the other toward the inside or outside of the corner during the apex or exit.

D:
If an ahead driver has clearly made an error to warrant a passing move, a behind driver may attack their position, with due caution and care, regardless of whether there was any pre-existing overlap. However, the overtaking driver must still avoid contact. Small errors by the ahead driver may not justify a passing move. The ahead driver getting a bit out of shape at times doesn’t give you an automatic right to pass. You still have to judge if their error allows for a safe pass to take place.

E:
Drivers who are using PS2/PS3 controller MUST make additional effort in driving due to the fact they can't use side-view, and their perception of the other cars is thereby limited - extreme caution while maneuvering is required. If you are using a controller, you are required to set buttons up for side views as "I didn't see you." is not an excuse if you collide with another driver when racing.

Hope to see you guys in 3 hours time.

Oh and Storm, I told him about 4 times to stop, it was getting irritating because I had to dodge the DPs ahead of me; I needed the caution to think on strategy and get a drink of water.

And YES! I love Monza, definitely where the Mazda's will shine the brightest, but I still love the track. Same with Suzuka, although my previous experiences in it with an F10 sort of tainted my feelings towards the track slightly (The F10 becomes really unstable when touching the kerbs, I spin out about every lap thanks to those blasted things).

Those Ferrari's, I'm pretty sure that they were above spec because they were getting rediculous shot out of my draft, which in Mel's Mazda would made sense, but not in a Ferrari with specs similar to the Viper. I have higher torque despite slightly less power so it should be even and it wasn't.

The competition is off the chain in GT this season! I love it! Endless battling kept my heart pounding at all times!

You can clearly see, that at the 3:30 Mark, you were spectating your own car when it showed you run into the LMP car, as well as hit the RX-8. You aren't fooling anyone. Also, why didn't you record the last 3 laps when I drove the wheels off the 458 and won.. Cleanly.

I PM'd mods, thought Mitch was a dirty driving troll. Apparently, everyone was stupidly reacting and blowing it out of proportion. And he won cleanly by 18 seconds. CLEANLY. I didn't really know what happened, just went off of what I was told by drivers.

Mel, I have to tip my hat off to you and that RX-8. I wasnt getting the bad tire wear like you have but I was two seconds off the pace. Although I think when I was testing it was at 450. I was going into it thinking it was going to be an easy car to drive. I had to use stage 3 turbo to meet specs. Which I hated. The turbo would make the tires spin at the top of the powerband. Bso that didnt help with the wear. I generally like to use as little mods as possible to favor having a flatter tq/hp curve.

To start, thanks FH! I love the RX-8. I'm actually running the supercharger now, so that I don't have to worry about turbo lag causing the rear tires to spin.

Secondly, you didn't win "cleanly" Mitch. You had more straightaway speed than the Mazda, while the Mazda was drafting off of you. I call BS on your specs, man. I could understand, if you were in another Mazda, and you had 2 km/h LESS than the guy in draft, but, pulling away from a Mazda IN DRAFT tells me that you're bull:censored:ing us BIG TIME. :grumpy: I don't care to see you here again. Storm mentioned how fast the Ferrari was in the straights there too.

Cows, it was fun racing with you. Sorry about the little Michael Schumacher S-Kurve thing, I didn't really slow down much, but I had nowhere to go, and I noticed that you went into the marbles and skidded off. At that point, though, my goal was to compare the speed on the straights, between my Mazda and the Ferrari :censored:heads.

Didn't look clean when I watched from 5:10 onward. I know I'm in no position to say that though after my incident with Seth.
