Well everyone, this summer is coming to a end. That means one thing... Beach time! Starting next weekend, I will not make 2-4 weekends.

Week 1: Indy super weekend.

Week 2: Mid Ohio ALMS and Indycar

Week 3-4: Beach, possibly a 5th, depends when my mom decides we can go home...

So my question is: Would you like to have races those weekends, or have them off? I may have Internet at the beach, not sure. It'll be patchy at best...

Should be better now.... Took 5 calls to get them to give us a new modem... Now it just takes joining a few lobbies and NOT listening to pandora for me to make it through a race! Lol!

But the beach- I'm jacking the peoples Internet from either the house next door, or the condo like a floor above... I'm not sure....

Will you make it to Monza?

Will you make it to Monza?

Yea, but the following 2 I will definitly not be there. Then the next two are iffy. So that's why I asked if everyone would like a break. Stuff seems to go terribly wrong when I'm not in the race...

After Monza, I say we take a "heat-break," to call it, so that I can go outside, in my winter jackets during the 40 degrees celsius, personally. Because I like conditioning myself for racing suits.

Thing is, I don't want to lose Interest...

And cool story bro....

Good point; best way to lose interest: losing strong leadership. :scared: 👎 :indiff: :guilty: :ill: :yuck: :grumpy: :nervous:

I believe I get that reference....

But I don't want all to go to heck in a hand basket while I'm trying to relax at a racetrack.... We're watching the nationwide race from a box... Like there's much to see... I must say though, NASCAR cars are A LOT cooler in real life...

Did you see the top gear episode where they did a story on NASCAR? It was a pretty cool story. Still not my cup of tea. I mean, yeah, its close racing all the time. But I feel like I dont have to tune in till about ten laps to go.

Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge on SPEED: interesting from start to finish
Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (here): interesting from start to finish

Rolex SCS on SPEED: interesting from start to finish

NASCAR... simply not quite as interesting.

ITCC: A little TOO interesting :sly: It makes for good fun, and tough rivalries.

Yea, the Daytona race 2 weeks ago was described in the NASCAR thread as "A funeral precession until a crap shoot with 15 laps to go".

You should watch Indy. :D

man, i love all motorsport, Rolex series, Le mans series, V8 supercars, F1, BTCC, F3, but this years Indy car series has been so boring, and the cars look confused, are they an open wheeler are they LMP class they look hideous, and nascar, the I have always enjoyed, but in the last few years, since the COT cars came in Ive started to venture toward the nationwide series, but now theyre destroying it too, seriously, 36 races across 17 different tracks? do they have to go to the same track twice, like Loudon was boring, What happened to rockingham and Nazareth? why cant they go to Milwaukee or Portland, or that corn track that Rusty wallace designed? there is more then 15 ovals in America, use them!

I think Indy has been good this year. I think there's too many road courses though. I heard there might be Pocono next season. :D and I was at Loudon last year for Indy.

I think that the DTM league uses 25 4 changeability, it makes little to no difference, but I dunno, it gives a bit more realistic chance of rain.

I really don't know what to use, that's why I was asking you. :) Is 25 to 4 pretty standard in league use?

I think so, we used it in the F10 league because another league used it... I guess it's the most realistic setting?

Rain @Monza is a waste IMO. It's not a difficult track, but I don't mind it. I'd rather it not rain all race long, i hate when that happens.
