How about, for tomorrow, Madrid or a tight city course? because that's where my driving is best.

In seriousness, GVE or Deep Forest please.

Grand valley I'd say, deep forest has that concrete issue I don't want to deal with...

Oh fine then. I'd say that the pits at Deep Forest are a worse problem, anyway. Also, anyone up for Grand Valley Reverse? I've recently been drifting at Grand Valley, and like it in reverse too.

Grand Valley works, but I would prefer Trial Mountain. It is a great track with many spots to overtake. Grand Valley shares that quality.

I wouldn't really mind having a street circuit in the races this week. At least once, because I happen to specialize in those types of tracks :P. I won't be able to make the race tomorrow.

So, we're agreed on the PD classics for tomorrow? I dislike Grand Valley forwards for the short pit stop length thing.

Ever since my karting incident ("Let's go past this guy on the outside of the turn. OH, MOTHER OF GOD, he's not turning! Oh MOTHER OF GOD he wants into the pits! Mother! Hey, maybe I can go screaming down a portion of pit lane full speed, jump over the grass, and rejoin the race with the lead... Black flag? WHY? That idiot forgot to turn! Why do I get the black flag?") I've been somewhat irritated by pit lanes.

Wait, are we doing the race at 1:30pm EST or 4:30 EST? I might be able to make those times.

Woah, when did we say that? We're thinking 7 PM or 9 PM, or both, perhaps.

Polar, how many races are timed-races this season? The strategy calls were so much more intense, when we didn't know our pit window...

I'm not for these short classic GT tracks. If were doing a GT track I'd rather go to SSR5. At least it's wide enough. Trial Mountain and Deep Forest especially are too narrow for these DP cars and their speed. Especially the issues we have been dealing with in terms of lag bumping incidents, those tracks aren't favorable IMO. And if you're doing it at 7PM I won't be there, and the others involved with 90s LM.

It would have to be mid afternoon. Like around 4:30 eastern time. Luckily tomorrow is my day off. I still have summer college classes though :grumpy: Seth's 90s GT1/GTS is tomorrow night as well.

My vote goes out to Trial Mountain circuit.

That's where I thought of it. And wait, let's look at my schedule...

You know, I'd probably make the 9:30EST race, because I think that's when I finish everything I have to do in the day.

Grand-Am @ Grand Valley Reverse.

I was never a fan of GV, I prefer the short course to it, but if that's what is decided I'd run it (if I'm not preoccupied).

I like normal Grand Valley rather than reverse.

RELEVANT: Lap in F10 around the track

It just flows so much better than reverse.

Until you have someone who wants to enter pit lane properly. :( Pit lanes cause problems, for me. And, cnd, but we won't get into that on THIS thread.

We almost NEVER have pit lane problems in the F10 series. How exactly do they cause problems? All you have to do is enter them?

Because the F10 has extreme downforce, and coming out of that flat out right hander staying to the right is tough because it wants to push other types of cars out to the left while the pit entrance is to the right. That means lots of people who pit are forced to slow down or cut across the track to make the pit entrance. On the reverse layout you don't have to worry about that as it's apart of the straight.

Wow, didn't know it was such a big problem. Whenever I race there in normal cars I just enter the pit lane easily. To be honest I'd much rather drive normal than reverse because in reverse you have a lot of slow turns while normal you go through the turns more quickly.

Speed causes crashes. :ouch: Believe me, in cars that go 50 km/h, crashes almost never happen. In cars which go 350 km/h or more, (X2011s etc.) crashes are all too common. In the Rolex series, we are always at the limit of grip, it seems, through most corners. If one person tries to hold the inside, and can't, that's when a crash happens. It's not, really, going to happen anywhere else. Consider it.

And, I think I'm happy either way, with GV, but GV reverse is much easier for some people, because IRL, you can put your turn signal on, to say that you're pitting, and warn drivers behind to give a bit of distance, before turning, but in game, you can't communicate that.

The problem is you're talking about an F1 car series then saying there's no problem. These aren't F1 cars. You may not have a problem entering the pits, but in reality the pit entrance lane starts before the turn is complete. So basically to indicate you're pitting, you should be to the right. These cars are pushing as much as possible, and going right in that turn is almost out of question because you'll wash out to the left like I said earlier. That means you either take the turn slower and risk causing a crash by someone following you for a draft by rear ending you, or you cut across the track to pit which can cause another accident.

I'm not questioning your guys' preferences. I just prefer GVS Normal rather than reverse. But for the sake of less crashes, I'm fine with reverse tomorrow.

Let's see what everyone else says, too.

Also, I don't tend to help my opponents out much, BUT, I'm posting up the sacred tune from last season, from the 4.2, which clinched the Manufacturer's championship after 6 rounds.

Most likely will not make practice race tonight. I do want to get on for a little to throw down some laps at Monza though.

Monza is one of those tracks where corner cutting is going to be an issue. We need to establish what is considered "off track".

I will have a graphic up today :)

And I'm for grand valley reverse... I like it more ;)
