TBF Anthony jumped the restart by being in front of me. Side by side is great, but he was in front of me and went before the line. I told him about that and said 'try not to jump the next restart'. I said that was cheap by smashing into me. I don't need to apologize for speaking my mind. I didn't call you any foul names. I'm sorry there was incidents and bumping, and I shouldn't have said you were a kid. That's just how I felt people were acting.

I saw that show on mermaids though. It's a mocumentary. In other words, it's all a big fake.

Exactly, my mom saw it, she talked lots about it, then I heard later on the news about a fake documentary about mermaids.

It would have to be mid afternoon. Like around 4:30 eastern time. Luckily tomorrow is my day off. I still have summer college classes though Seth's 90s GT1/GTS is tomorrow night as well.

I know this might be a bit off-topic but anyone use custom BGM? I like to race with songs from GT3-GT4 and have a bit of classic rock in the mix. It helps me concentrate more, rather than hearing "Baby" by Pnau in the online menu every. Single. TIME!

No, I'm just wondering who else uses it. I know it's off-topic slightly but hearing my Audi's V10 and with some of my favorite songs it helps me concentrate on the track better than, let's say the normal GT5 soundtrack with a Sauber C9 in front of me.

EDIT - No offense Shin and cnd, I just hate how the C9 sounds.

I have been given an academic scholarship by the local coterie club to get a head start on my college education. I am aspiring to be a chemical engineer. I am enrolled at my town's local junior college. I am still in high school though. My classes end at like 3:30 eastern. Mid afternoon like 4:30 eastern.

For your restarts whats your system is it single file (Like real life) or double file and if it's double is it side by side or the system we use in PURE which is double file staggered like this picture.

(One of our examples)

If people know what they are to do it could help on your starts/re starts and stop confusion. In our rules there has to be no overlap between the front bumper of 2nd to the rear bumper of 1st etc down the order. Also in starts/re starts the cars behind are to wait (Or atleast meant to wait) until the car infront starts acellerating to avoid jump starts. (Thats for e.g 4th cant go until 3rd does and so on) Failure to do so usualy ends up with a 5-10 sec time penalty..

I kinda want to go to a single file restart. If we stay double file; however, I like this idea.

This will really help stop those times when you brake in front of somebody and they hit your rear end. I've also lurked through some PURE threads and I like the starts rule. It's all up to Polar, though.

Paul: Currently we're doing side by side double file. It's working pretty well (no crashes) and everyone's all tightened up. I have told myself that if we have a "bad" race restart wise, that we would go to single file. It's not broken yet, and I don't want to change anything that doesn't need fixing.

But thanks! The picture helped! I may have to do something like that... If you wouldn't mind.

It's not PURE that came up with that so go ahead lol. We just use it as we think it's the best system for rolling starts and is pretty easy to police .

One negative thing about side by side is 2nd can't see 1st so has to go when he thinks 1st is gonna go which could lead to jump starts by 2nd..

Back when I was using my DS3 I had X and Square as my accel/decel, my R2/L2 as shifters, and my left analong stick as the steering. Right analog was used to look around, and L1 was to look back.

I know you guys are fine with your system but I dug up an old video Wardez made of one of our JGTS starts. (Which I was proud to be a part of)

To explain whats going on we do pre race qualifying so our posistions for the race are set and it's just a matter of getting ourselves into our posistions on lap 1. Hope you don't mind me posting this 👍.

Yeah PURE co founder Denilson came foul of the glitchy tyre stack at T1, sometimes it jumps out a 1-2 feet from where they actualy are. (Caught me out later in the race when I was fighting for 6th or 7th )

Think Rees went on to win and is now alonside a few other PURE guys in the top 16 on US GTA . But the point of it was the disiplined start shows how atleast it should be started ... We can't stop annoying glitches ruining things though .

Oh, then one would hope it would've been fixed! Indy is a enduro race... That'd suck after a hour and forty minutes having your race ruined by a glitch!
