The Rolex Sports Car Series, Season 3! Finished! Thanks Everyone!

Yessir!

Would the chassis reinforcement help my wheel spin issue?

I'm not having those wheel spin issues with the Sauber. Move the Anti-Roll bar in the front up a point. That makes the car have better control. I have lost a few tenths on lap time, but it is a lot more consistent and predictable.

It might make it easier to catch, but you're better off testing on another car before you commit to it. You can't take it off once it's on there.

The best fix for wheelspin (In bends?) Is the have the front dampers (Extension, 1st set) softer than the rear for e.g in FF I would use 6, 3. For oversteer but in a slightly loose rwd I would start at 7, 8 then lower the front until it's controlable.

Another good fix which I used in my CALM Audi R8 LMS (Used the damper trick too) is to lower the Acel sensitivaty on the LSD, I had it as low as 10-15 on the R8.. (LSDs stock are 40 Acel sensitivaty meaning the outside wheel spins more on the power in bends)

Hope that can help.

Great. How wonderful for the update to come in the middle of my (very short and extended) testing. I haven't been driving all that much in the first place. :grumpy: Back to the drawing board.

Thanks! I'll try it out!

Why is it that my first vision of you "wasting time," is seeing someone lost to a daydream after seeing starfish?

Because that is exactly what happens.

I know, I know. You want me choosing as soon as I can. I'm late on things, sorry. I did say that my participation here is not definite.

:( Come on buddy, you are always welcome. :)

He sure is! And he may get some car variety as a general reserve! He will be able to drive any car that doesn't have 2 drivers in the room!

He still has another week or so. I'm hoping Shin can give our British friends a run for their money in the championship. :)

I'm sure he can. He sounded like he really wanted to switch to GT. he'll have fun. He just needs to pick what car he wants!

He's using the 458 for the spot race right?

I reckon.

He wanted it here, but, I'm sure he will enjoy other cars. All the cars other than the Ferrari won last season I believe.

I think the 458 was the only car that didn't win last year. Paul said it was the fastest though.

We still have spots open for anyone who is thinking/considering joining :)

Yes! Plenty of space left! And we're open to suggestions!

And for people already signed up, tell your GTP friends! Lets fill the grid!
