Ok, I was thinking about using a McClaren like paint scheme this week and I wasn't sure about being able to use silver chrome.

We may be able to live with silver chrome.... But that may be it...

If you had red chrome, that would be cool. There was a red chrome Momo Porsche at the 24 hours this year. I don't think they have red chrome, but it woulds be cool.

We ran it in ITCC. Lots of questionable overtake attempts xD

You mean skipping the chicane? :P In PURE R32s some of us actually went side by side through there. I got on someones inside, held on the outside of the chicane and took the place into the next bend :D.

I'm sticking with my combination of matte blue with grey wheels. Looks brilliant on the R8.

also i'm pretty bored so does anyone fancy some testing at fuji?

I might just end up watching you guys race this weekend. Too much stuff going on at the house. Figured I'd leave it on and check back every now and then.

About that, yeah. I'm getting mid 1:43's.

Consistently? How long for? Fastest lap?

Need something to measure my "handicapped" specs against.

Update: I may have to test the other cars, because otherwise it's "going to be extremely painful... for you"

We are running Fuji F!

Now no one can ask anymore :P

Yeah, I figured as much when I tested with ross today. I just wanted to make sure because I was getting 1:43s, and I read talks of 1:41s. I went back to check the thread later on, and found out that the 1:41s were on Fuji GT.

It should be a close race this week, it seems that all of us are running laps within a couple tenths.

Also, how many preseason races are there going to be?

Well this is awkward. People going on about 1:41's for Fuji GT and 1:43's for F. Either way, after my own testing:
Ferrari - (+0.119) -> Lotus - (+0.362) -> Camaro - (+0.228) -> Mazda - (+0.071) -> Audi

Cumulatively:
Ferrari
Lotus (+0.119)
Camaro (+0.481)
Mazda (+0.709)
Audi (+0.780)

Of course, there may have been fluctuations in tuning, driving style or so forth, so make what you will out of this.

I was thinking the Mazdas might struggle here a little. You really have to get high in the RPM's before it really screams. But of course there are a few spots where it can stretch itself out. Good luck trying to drag race down the stretch against it. :scared:

I'm thinking Evora all the way for this one. It has good overall balance in the corners and is a demon on the sraights as well. No pressure on you guys. :)

AIN, that is probably about accurate for everyone. Though, its funny how the Audi is the one both of us seem to have trouble getting pace for.Mind you, I try to tune the Audi for maxium tyre longetivity, so there's a little trade off in overall pace.

The Lotus has that huge weight distribution percentage and a low enough minimum weight before ballast, while the Audi has Torque Diff; both can balance the cars more and even tyre wear using their respective traits.

I have to say i kinda wish i'd have been able to get in the Evora for this season instead of the audi. Im really struggling to improve its pace.
