The Rolex Sports Car Series, Season 3! Finished! Thanks Everyone!

Thanks guys you're just making me even more jealous. The only interesting racing related thing that ever happened to me was when I was like 7 I got to sit inside the wheel of a monster truck.

I've seen monster trucks once. It was really loud. I thought it was cool though.

I have stood next to many on show touring cars and never had the balls to ask if I can sit in one. To name a few, I have been beside Platos SEAT Leon TDI from 2007, Giovanardis VXR Vectra in 2008, Platos Chevy Lacetti 2009, Sheddens Honda Civic and Platos Cruze in 2010. (Also a Cruze CS road car) Then all the ones from last year and the Classics etc this year :(.

(Yes loads of Platos cars but I am a Plato fan :P)

Edit: Also if your interested heres the full 284 picture album from this year 👍.

*the art of getting to sit in racecars*

By: polar

First- start talking to the guy in charge of it.

Then- carry on yapping, kiss butt.

Then- make sure you guys have become "friends"

Finally- go in for the kill "mind if I take a seat in this for a second?"

Haha added edit btw :P.

More annoying was afterwards when moving on etc, a little kid would just seem to jump in them :/.

The cnd01 method:

Walk up.

Take a picture of the inside of the car.

Tell the nearest crew member that you appreciate their team taking the time and money to come out and compete.

Ask if you can sit in the car.

Ahh, the picture of the Ferrari brought back the memory of the Ferrari, corvette and viper clubs at the grand am day this year at the super weekend. The next day, it was filled with Chevy cav's ....

You forgot... "Then Cnd breaks something, by accident, on it to leave his mark".. :P

The Fiesta is mine I took that on the way out cause I thought of a great caption for it. "My one is... The red one.."

Gah stop talking about Petit Le Mans and Daytona! I'd love to go to them! But I guess I can't complain I've been to Le Mans 3 times and plan on going next year too.

Lucky you. I just want to go once in my life time and you've already gone three. :(

The closest track I live next to is VIR. Some say its the NA version of the Ring. Of course its not even close. But its the closest thing we have. I really do wish PD would consider taking a look at this track. Its got six different configurations.

I also live close to Baltimore but I dont consider it to be a "track".

Seriously man, if you ever get a chance to go, do it. You won't regret it. The atmosphere is incredible and you're constantly surrounded by beautiful cars and the smell of BBQ's. Oh and so much beer. Also I live roughly 1-2 hours from Brands Hatch, Silverstone and Snetterton (3 of the more 'well known' tracks in the UK) So yeah, motorsport is a pretty big part of my family's life!

It must make you mad that Grand-Am stopped going there. I really like VIR. Those uphill esses are stunning.
