Not saying that there's really an issue, but from what I heard about last night, it could and should have gone better.

I know, but in terms of a full time safety car to have on call, if something should happen like last night. I would have thought Hardy had the logistics for these scenarios down pat already.
Yes having backups is always nice. And to be fair, I did inform him ahead of time (24+ hours) of my situation and to plan accordingly.

Yeah. That's where I step in. I didn't have information from anything until 6 a.m. this morning in the debrief.

On behalf of AUEC's Total Endurance Championship, we am requesting the service of a safety car. As the name implies, it is an endurance championship, and length can vary from 2 to 12 hours long. I am personally offering payment of a $50 PSN card out of pocket for an all year safety car. Races are on Fridays (look at AUEC thread for schedule). You can either message me or TEC organizer cshardy62096. Thank you.

I'll take a look at your schedule and see if I can do it. I'll have to view it later though, it's almost 4 am and I've had a long day of testing.

Opener/caution/escort GMT -4:00 eastern time/ theHOONIGAN any time on the weekends or after 6 most nights

I'll add you into the OP later for the same reason I gave Angel. *passes out.* Please send me a Friend Request on PSN.

If Peel can do all-year I might as well just start racing now. :P Being Safety Car is fun but I cannot guarantee my presence at EVERY SINGLE round on the schedule @BRRT_Angel, especially since I was invited to Le Mans.

Yeah, I know that Hardy is expanding the field to 56 entries for Le Mans, Nürburgring, and Andalucia. I need to make sure from a logical standpoint that the season has properly trained safety cars. As for competing, I'll see you in the qualifier for Le Mans.

How exactly is 56 entries going to work? Only 15 transfer?

Qualifying races. I believe there's a set number for each class. That's part of the reason why there's a month between Ascari and Le Mans I would think.

If I remember right, the PC Class is allotted 20 entries, while SGT Class and LMGT Class is allotted 16 entries each.

Speed: Needs a little bit of work. Still inside the 1-2 mph range. Closer to 2 mph though.
Pulling off to set for a Restart: Smooth pull offs.
Picking up the Field: Good pick-ups. A little early at first when the field is approaching at pace speed. Fixed that after some advice.
Driving Line: Driving line was great.
Knowledge of Process: Picked up the process fairly easily. Isn't used to oval events, but is learning.
Patience: Likes to speed things up in order to be efficient. Such as getting back to his spot quickly by skipping pit road. I gave a reminder that you're just going faster to stop your car. He has said he realizes that under race conditions that is unacceptable.

Accepted, let me know when your first race is.

@BRRT_Angel I took the X2014 Jr Race 2 event. I will also need the start time of the 500km of Monterey. Depending on the start time I will pace it or put someone else on it.

From the schedule I have. Everyone needs to be in room at 7:00 p.m. EST for scrutineering.

I will be able to watch this race live though.

CALLING ALL SCs!
I need a Safety Car to show up at about 4:40-5pm EST today, for the Volkswagen Battle at the Beach, as shown in my signature. Help please! :)

Peel, thank you for being safety car for the Laguna Seca event. Probably not the way you planned on spending those three hours, but thank you nonetheless. Looking for a permanent solution still. Hopefully we'll have something by Bathurst.

No problem at all. 3 of my drivers for a NASCAR practice I was going host had dates for Valentine's Day so I just canceled the practice. The need for the Safety Car definitely had more need. You had 9 driver start after all.

I do recommend that in the future, picking up the leader every time and if you continue to have 3 lap Cautions then multi-class pitting. Prototypes first, then next time by GT's. As well as GT class wave-around or just put the Prototype class in front of the GT class for every start with no wave arounds.

I should be free for Bathurst as well if somebody else doesn't take that. It is still a way off so I can't be 100% sure of my schedule as this time though..

Even if Peel can't make Pace Car I can always so it! I was planning on SCing the Laguna Seca race! Driving was a surprise to me!

Okay. I'll have to put that suggestion up at the AUEC board meeting on Thursday.

@Peelster1 please update my "characteristics" to indicate that I will need a decent advance of time before I can make commitments. I can't hop on and suddenly take an event. Thanks.

I might be racing the Bathurst 1,000km for AUEC.

Note: Still searching for a safety car that can do Junior Endurance/Endurance for the Total Endurance Championship. I know peelster1 is available at the moment for the Bathurst 1,000km, but I hope to have a permanent solution by Motegi.
