Needing someone willing to cover AUEC's 2014 2,000km of Le Mans. The race is on Friday, May 16th with a race protocol meeting on Thursday, May 15th. The race is expected to last 6-10 hours depending on weather and safety car periods.
We also need a dedicated safety car driver for the 2,000km of Nürburgring and the 2,000km of Andalucia. That will be addressed at a later date.

Not really obsessed, just willing. It appears that I don't have any races of my own that day so there's a decent chance I'll be available. It's still weeks out so I can't say I'm 100% sure I'll be able to attend. I'll keep you posted though. 👍Eh, hello? Anyone there?

Well, you know I'm just kidding about the obsession (or not, you are obsessed with pacing races when you automatically write "Safety Car" in your notes when your teacher write SC on the board
). Other than that, if it turns out you can and want, the space is yours 👍 (yay, I get to play GTP-live-feed AND Race Director for the first time since Trial Mountain 
)

Oh, I never planned to have a safety car in the series. A member suggested it... I'll think about it some more before I start the series

Opener/Caution/Escort/Junior Enduro/Endurance/Super Endurance [EST=GMT-5] During the summer, I'm available for the most part everyday. August to September I will be available from 4 o'clock to 12AM, from September to January I'll be available from 8- 10 After Juanuary I'll once again be available from 4 to 12. Then after I graduate in may I am available for whatever times needed.

Well, as Peagle says, I'll have to arrange some time to "certify" you. (Honestly, don't know why trobes and redbull make such a big deal about it. All it means is that I grant the driver approval under The Safety Car Club banner.) Might be able to do that after the Route X race for the Nationwide Series League if you can stick around. (Or maybe before it, because I'd be more interested in practicing in the muscle cars for the exhibition at Daytona.)
I don't genuinely make a great deal of it... Just messin' around.

I meant we could do it after the Route X race that the league was holding, not that you would be pacing for the league.

Ok, the series I have put together we are introducing a safety car. It will be used for when a driver disconnects or any other incidents found to be dangerous. The day is still yet to be decided (depends on the majority's vote) but it will be in the evening.
