Gotta love those Exactons.

Something I saw crop up on Classic Driver. M-B A-Class A160 Edition F1 (250 made apparently). Such a strange way to commemorate a F1 championship. Supposedly, you could have Mika's or David's name on the car, but most pictures only show Hakkinen or no name.

Expensive little bugger; 45,000 Euros.

Weird they didn't base it on the A190 or A210 so it actually had a bit more performance, but I guess if it cost that much as an A160 then it might have been a bit much for people it it cost even more...

1999-2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR SuperSport:

Chassis 17

Chassis #01, probably the most seen of all CLK-GTR models

Not sure which chassis this is, but it is indeed a SuperSport, i'm assuming this is chassis 13.

Prototype press chassis #2, this one actually still wears the same plates.

This one is also a SuperSport but i'm unsure of what chassis it is:

Contrary to popular belief and based on my own research, there are more than 2 CLK-GTR SuperSport models made, atleast 5 that I know of even though i've seen a 6th one being listed a SuperSport but I haven't been able to find any proof of it being a SuperSport.

Visually, despite there being claims of a 'additional front splitter' the car looks exactly the same as a 'regular' GTR.

Performance is slightly higher than a regular GTR with the SuperSport have between 664-720HP and a 7.3 liter V12 instead of the 6.9 liter one in the other models. They also have slightly different gear ratios with the SuperSport being geared for 238 MPH though I find it extremely unlikely for it to ever reach that speed.

Peugeot 206 RC (known as GTi180 in UK/Australia where VW didn't own the GTi-naming rights in th 1990s/2000s)
WRC Edition 1 (silver) and WRC Edition 2 (red)

2003 100 cars in silver, 2004 100 cars in red, only available in Germany to celebrate the 3 manufacturer championships (2000, 2001, 2002) and 2 drivers championships (2000+2002 w Marcus Grönholm) in the WRC. They were late to the party since the RC/GTi180 was introduced to the market from 2003 on while 2003 was the last and worst (due to its age) year for the 206 WRC which was replaced by the 307 WRC from 2004 on. So the red liveried 206 WRC never won a title.

Sadly only cosmetics like WRC-logoed floormats and aluminium handbrake lever with WRC logo + tinted backwindows and aluminium doorstep covers. The outside sticker set was a no cost option.

Well because I saw one IRL and was impressed, I'm going to mention the new Alfa Romeo GTA(m) once again. 500 of these are going to be build and are probably sold out. It is not the most beautiful car though. I have never been interested in the Giulia.

Had no idea this early reborn Camaros had a Neimen Marcus Editions, but I actually find the color combo quite tasteful. Sucker for that interior color. 100 made as I found out from a recent carscoops article.

As 5th gens go, that's about as appealing as one has ever been; beautiful colour, lovely interior choice and the satin silver windscreen frame adds a touch of class.

I've posted about a few of these elsewhere, but this is the perfect thread to post them again.

1976 Lincoln Continental Mark IV Designer Editions. 1976 was the last year for the Mark IV which debuted for the 1972 model year. Lincoln decided to offer these Designer Editions in the last year to help move product before the new Mark V dropped for the 1977 model year. Four famous fashion designers created their own style for the big coupe. I haven't found production figures for these, but one article I read said they made up about a quarter of Mark IV sales. There were 56,110 Mark IVs sold in 1976, so about 3500 each, I'm guessing?
