Okay Gary, thanks for reminding me (dope)
Ade can you make Sunday night?
If so ill put it up.

Just sent you a PM. Let me know what you think.👍

Yeah, its Gary's 500pp race next Saturday. Spa Francorchamps with heavy damage and weather. Hmmmm (we have been there before). 15 laps, and any car tuned to 500pp, with a couple of exclusions, Lotus Elise being one.

As I have said on here now suppose I should go the whole hog.

Saturday 6th July 20.30 BST
15 laps Spa francorchamps, (with weather)settings tba)
Any car under 2500cc
I'm not outright excluding any car yet, just asking that those that are inherently faster (gun to a knife fight) are only used by the slower/newer/less experienced to give them a chance.
Tuned to 500pp any way you like.
No more than 5% use of engine limiter.
Sports hard tyres only.
All aids are allowed but if you are more experienced I ask you turn some of them off.
Cars on my "gun to a knife fight" list
Lotus Elise
Toyota 86gt

Please note this is a casual event, no points or prizes. At the end of the day the challenge is with yourself, and will be as difficult as you make it.

If anyone else reading this is interested please pm me and I'll know to expect you on the evening.

Count me in Gary, are you suspension stock or custom?

You can adjust everything you want to the Nth degree or rock up with completly stock settings. Maybe even stock suspension, if you're feeling particularly brave.

In short, it's up to you. :D

Looking forward to your event next Saturday Gary, now I just got to pick a car to use, which will get me safely around Spa in the wet, with heavy damage. :scared::scared::crazy:

Sunday Cuppers, tomorrow is the start of July, and with the GTAcademy download coming on Tuesday, Im looking forward to hands on experience of GT6. Yeah!!!!!

July also means that you will be finding out what comes next with The Sunday Cup. Whilst there will be no SC events during the Academy period, I will be updating the thread with what I have planned when it has finished. So, Sunday Cuppers, get ready to be..................................

Anybody done any practicing with Gary 500pp yet, if so spill out your times,LOL

Still picking my car Dave. Hopefully will have one by the middle of the week, and I can post some times.

Sunday Cup news....

As I said before, SC will be taking a break whilst the Academy is on. There is usually a 3 month break between season's to allow me to plan the race venues, uprades, etc that we have. 8 races usually takes a minimum of 15 weeks to complete, excluding any delayed races, so I dont want to organise an entire series which may clash with GT6's arrival.

However, as SC3 attracted a lot of new members, as well as the original Sunday Cup crew, and you all turned up for practices and races week after week, im not gonna make you wait until GT6 for some more quality racing.

What I have in mind, is a chance for the newer racers to the series to try out what we done before SC3, and a chance for original members to have a few more races in our previous cars. ( All unraced circuits as previous events, and a different twist to the events. )

I will post more details through out July about car specs, venues and the race programme, but for now, get ready for Sunday Cup Reloaded.......

Sounds great Ade! Can't wait to see what you have in store! Experiencing some of what the first two seasons were all about sounds an awesome idea!

My friends and I would like to recreate this event for our Wednesday night racing, could someone please post the details of of how it works? I was able to grab the screen below a short time ago, but cannot find the others.

Thanks man. Our group has been racing together since shortly after the game came out, we are always looking for creative ways to add more fun. When I saw your setup I was impressed, and so were the others in my group.

SoCal, you are welcome to join us, send a friend request to StLCards1985 and I'll get you connected.

OK, here's the graphics with the starting specs, followed by the upgrades which must be carried out every 2 races.

What an amazing track (silver stone) technical and fast, my cup of tea. I wish I could take the day off tomorrow.

Yeah mate, Im loving it. Also the feel of the car. Definate change to the driving.

Yeah they did a great job, and their work with KW suspension and Yokohama tyre shows. The feel of driving is just what I was expecting and hoping for. Also inputs on my DFGT are much more responsive. GT6 could really be a real driving simulator.
