That's the exact cars I plumped for to paint up ready! Or is it common knowledge, suppose I would know if I pressed the lobby tab.

New darker purple Gary? Mine incoming.

See all tomorrow.

Right O ladies, Im back off my hols and raring to go. Race 1 is just 2 weeks away, so its time to get some times stamped for this first race. Official practice will begin tomorrow from 8.00pm. Spain's not going to know whats going on when we tear up the streets of Madrid. See ya tomorrow racers.......KABOOM!

Great 1st practice tonight. 11 racers turned in for some laps. It did get a bit boisterous a few times, especially at turn 1, but this will die down as we all get used to the car at this track. I will take a look through the replays, and post the lap times tomorrow evening. Should be on later during the week, but not tomorrow or Tuesday. Next weekend will see a full on practice over Friday, Saturday and Sunday in preparation for the first race the following week.

IMPORTANT

OK guys, I know I was going to post the times from Sunday last night, but decided not to, as I wanted to wait until today before deciding what I was going to do.

I have some bad news Im afraid.

As some of you will be aware, (those of you who are friends with Mrs 3210 on facebook), she has been waiting for a long time for surgery on her back. Yesterday she received notification through the post, that a date for her op has been moved forward to next Wednesday 17th September, and today we had to attend a pre operation assessment. She will be having a disc removed from her spine, and will be spending several days in hospital, possibly the entire weekend, before she can return home. After that she will require a lot of support for up to 6 to 8 weeks.

As I am not sure how much support she will need, and knowing that this will mean that I definitely wont be able to start with Reloaded next Sunday, I am going to postpone/cancel until further notice. I am very sorry for this announcement, but I need to be available to support my wife over the coming weeks/months.

This has been a very hard decision for me to make, as I love organizing this series, and I know you all enjoy it aswell, but I am not going to be able to dedicate the time to running it to the standard it deserves whilst helping my missus during her recovery, and equally, it wouldnt be fair on her if I ran the season, and didnt give her the help she needs.

Once again guys, I really am sorry for this news, but this operation has come up a lot earlier than we thought it would.

However, I do have a proposal.

This coming Saturday, if enough of you are up for it, I will host the entire Reloaded sprint race season in one night.

6 x 15 minute races using all 3 cars, at all the circuits I had planned for the season.

Starting at 9.00pm, each race will last for 15 mins, (set using the endurance timer)

Then there will be 5 minutes break before the next race, at the next track using reverse grid.

After each 2 races we will change to the next car, and the next 2 tracks until the 6 races are complete.

The winner will be the racer who gains the most points during the course of the evening.

I really hope that this compensates for not being able to continue with the Reloaded season, and please let me know if you can attend this event on Saturday.

Thanks Guys.

Ade.

No worries Ade, look after Mrs 3210, we can wait. If you do have time this Saturday that'll be great, but Mrs comes first. Good luck.

(I really hope that this compensates for not being able to continue with the Reloaded season, and please let me know if you can attend this event on Saturday.) I really dont think any compensation is required here Ade.Your energy is required elsewhere with someone far far more important than us lot.We all hope for the best outcome for your better half and a speedy recovery to full health.... As far as the Reloaded season goes,I am happy to wait untill all is good in your real world affairs and then give it the attention it deserves because of the amount of time and background work you have to do with these things..

Well said that man!!!

Don't worry about us Ade we can wait. I wish Mrs 3210 all the best and when she recovers we can do our thing.
Starting date is not important as long as everyone enjoys it and has some fun during the season and with these guys fun is all you remember at the end.

Thanks for the kind words of support guys. Its been a mental week, what with returning from holiday, back to work for me and the missus, school/college for the kids, and a hospital visit. I havnt had any time to get on GT at all.

I stated above about doing the sprint races in one night, on Saturday, but I am going to shelve that idea for now aswell. This is so I can spend a bit of Quality time with the better half before her hospital stay on Wednesday, as its the only evening where we dont have to worry about work the next day, and I would like to try and take her mind off things.

Carry on practicing though guys, and hopefully I can run this as the mini season it was meant to be in a month or so, depending on the better halfs recovery I would rather do this than try to cram it all into one evening.

Once again guys, thanks for your patience, and understanding.

Edit......However, if any of you Sunday Cuppers would like some Lotus action this coming weekend, there is an opportunity for some of you to enter multiple teams in this weekends 12 hours of Brands Hatch race, hosted by AJ, who ran the 24 heures Du Mans earlier this year. The Lotus class would be very similar to that used in the last race, with a small drop in HP. There are places available on the grid, if anyone would like to lead a Sunday Cup team, or teams. AJ has contacted me and offered us some grid places, so we can also help him test out the new systems he is using for future events. Teams of 2, 3 or 4 are welcome, and the format will be the same as last time. If any of you are up for this challenge, please visit the link below and register.

Well I'm interested in taking part but it is quite short notice so I understand if no one else is particularly keen. I don't mind doing it but I don't want to be on my own either. Some of us had a brief discussion on facebook but nobody was able to participate due to other plans. SO if anyone is interested at all then let us know and we'll see if we can work something out. Also bear in mind the race is on tomorrow morning at 6 but if we get enough people to make up teams then we can sort out stints to suit each of us.

Ok guys, youve all had the message from AJ regarding the Brands Hatch race tomorrow. I see some of you have picked up the gauntlet, and have intentions of entering. That is awesome. I believe that some practice is already underway, so tonight thats what we will do. Not sure whose lobby it will be in, but im sure if any of you wish to help out tonight with this, there will be a room open. I will be joining from about 8.30pm.

Well guys, looks like we have a team. Please check the pm from AJ, as we have been running the wrong power and weight. Should be 260 bhp @920 kg. Im gonna try and be on hand as much as I can tomorrow, and may even make a cameo appearance in the race. Good luck guys, and thanks for picking up this gauntlet. Now go and chuck it at the opposition.

Fookin love u guys.

Hi! I just found this thread and I'm interested in joining in for a race. When is the next race and what PP/Power/Weight Regulations are there? PSN: danielholmer

So here it is!
TEAM DIV (Sunday cup)
Theewar
Weescotman
N-O-M-A-D-81
Dowlin39

We've decided to do this with the reloaded season being put on hold so ade can take care of misses ade. The car will run the colour choice and number choice of lyns. This is our way of showing our support for you, while you prepare yourself for the surgery you've been waiting on.

Well do our best and remember you'll be in all our thoughts next Wednesday, quick recovery and enjoy what ade buys you,.

OK team, a little change to how things are being run. Seems there's been a problem with the room this morning for whatever reason, stint times are new and as follows, Theewar 8-11, Weescotman 11-2, N-O-M-A-D - 81 2-5pm and Dowlin39 is 5-8PM. Things may kick off a bit earlier so will try keep you all updated.

Well guys, what a tremendous effort. With less than 24 hours notice, Team DIV, with very little practice, took 2nd place overall, and the class win in the 12 hours of London race (Brands Hatch). WOW!!!!!

This was all down to you guys, I had no involvement other than a bit of spectating, and a short bit of live streaming towards the end of the race. A massive thanks to Will, Warren, Nomad, Dowlin, and of course Gary, for rallying the team in the facebook chat box, and all those who gave the team the support during the day.

Although the grid wasnt very big, you guys still stamped your mark on this race. You managed to beat Made4racing team, who took the class win at Lemans, back in July.

So this has got me thinking. With Reloaded on hold, due to the better halfs hospital visit, and recovery, who would be interested in taking part in the next endurance event????? This will give all of you something to get involved with over the next 4 weeks, and it wont take up nearly as much of my time as running a season, and all being well, I may be able to start Reloaded the following week.

This will be the GTPlanet Spa 24 hour race, on the weekend of October the 12th.

I have messaged AJ, and mentioned that I may be interested in putting 2 teams into this race, so if the interest is there, and we are allowed to, who would be up for this?

I will also be looking for other members to assist behind the scenes. During the race yesterday, GC Gary was in charge of the stint pics, and this worked really well. Also racers to help test our cars at Spa to see how we measure up to the other cars in class.

Ideally, I would like to see the original Lemans team in the #72 car, with a new team racing in the #95.

So guys, what do you think????????

EAT, SLEEP, RACE, REPEAT #2

Just been catching up on this thread. Best wishes to your other half Ade, hope all goes well for her, and totally appreciate your reasons for delaying the series. I'll look forward to Sunday Cup reloaded when you are in a better position to run it.

Personally, the endurance events are a bit off-putting for me, mainly because it focuses on a select few driving rather than the whole gang who are involved with the series, and I simply wouldn't have the time to commit to these sort of events. I guess I'm hoping we don't focus too much on these endurance events instead of the series / championships in the future, although I totally understand why the series has been put on hold at this time.

Congrats on our team for finishing 2nd though in the Brands Hatch event, very well done considering the lack of time to prepare. :)

Well if there are going to be 2 teams, would the specs be the same or would we be put into a class of our own?

From what I can make out, there are 2 classes, GT cup, and GT3. The Elise 111R is in both classes, albeit with different performance and weight. Im hoping we can enter 2 cars in the same class, GT cup, the same as at Brands, although if this is not permitted, I would be happy to enter multi class. As I said in the above post, I would ideally like to see the Lemans team racers as one entry, with an opportunity for other members to build a team for the second car. I know that Cobani has a keen interest to take part, and GC Gary has expressed an interest also.

Cheers Jammy. Dont worry, full commitment will be given to future championships, and the focus will not be on endurance races. I hadnt planned on entering the Spa race, but it has kind of fallen in with the time off I need to take to give my wife the support she will need, and it will require only a small amount of time on my part.

I can understand why you may be put off by the whole endurance race thing, but the Lemans race, and Brands this weekend proved that this can be as much of a whole team/gang effort as a series. I didnt organise this weekends entry, it was all done by Sunday Cuppers, but the support was tremendous. The team was put together on the 11th hour, and on Friday evening there were 9 racers helping out in practice. The facebook chat box was on the go all day long. So even though this isnt a series, or you may not wish to enter, there is still a part you can play in the mechanics of an entry into an event like this. Whether its helping out at practice, or showing support on the day of the race, there is something for everyone to get involved in.

You could have the original Lemans team, and another team with us lesser mortals racing. I don't think I'll be doing it in the near future. So strap some on and go for it!!!
