Well just set damage to heavy. If you bust up against the wall the entire car icon lights up red and you have to crawl to the pit to get it fixed (in record time) :sly::sly::sly:

Not as much fun as getting out and pulling bits off. Massive crash between Toyota and Ferrari. Hope Ant Davison is OK.

Too bad that I will not race you tomorrow Cobrius, but is this a one off or are you on track for the championship?

Probably a one off, but you never know. I've been trying iracing again but there are some things I don't like about it so we'll see.

I will always have room for you Cobrius, you are in.👍

Thank you very much.
I can't believe Sweden got beat the other night! Gutted :banghead:

(Since I dont care for any of the current England line-up, I've been following my Scandinavian friends' progress in the Euros)

I couldn't believe Swedish goalie didn't even get the arms up on the second goal :ouch:. Cheering for Denmark now instead.

About Le Mans:
The Lotus is right behind the GT Academy team now.

I am keeping up to date with Le mans, and The Sunday Cup.

Updated line up for tomorrows race.

Got to hand it to Sky for their Sky Go website!

Streaming LM24 as I'm typing (while the wife is watching BB!) It's been an awesome race this year!

Excellent early battles with Aston Martin and Chevrolet, hell of an incident with the Toyota  (I'd been enjoying the Toyota's, especially the LMP1 battle with Audi!!! 👍 ) They were needed with Peugeot not being here to snap at Audi's heels.

Loved the Audi #3 car understeering and smashing the front in only for the driver to be raging even though the marshalls were saying no, but he did amazingly to clear it off and to limp back to the pits!

Shame for the Nissan team with the Deltawing :( but still an interesting view of the future? X2011 eat your heart out!

And into the dark we go :)

Just commented on the race, the coverage, asked about braking distances in the dark even with the LED headlights, and mentioned my Lotus connections with the Sunday Cup (linked this thread) :) as they were talking about GT Academy and the 2 who are racing with Nissan

Hi Ade :) Do you have a full grid tonight? I'd be very happy to make up the numbers if you want bud? I'll buy the car right now and set it to share if you want to take a pic. Just let me know mate I'm around all day 👍

Great, I will take a pic for the profile. Can you take a pic of car and driver, and post it in here as well for the podium picture.

No worries mate. It is only a friendly race, so there wont be any points to lose. Have a good evening. I will keep your name on the line up, just in case you are back in time.👍👍

Rebellion 4th! Nice one 👍

Yeah, was a good race for them. I did hear the commentators say several times that there would be a proper factory team next year. :D:D

Not long to go until tonight's friendly race. High Speed Ring may not be one of the more interesting tracks, (and I havnt raced on it online since prologue) but it is fast, and although there are not any championship points on offer here, lets keep the racing clean and tidy. This is more of a practice run to make sure we change tyres during pit stops. Remember, sports tyres only, medium and hard. Race you all later.👍👍

20 laps in the lead! Pole positions! It's just not like me!!!

Nice tactics cobrius 👍 Did you see I resisted the urge to pass on the last lap, as I knew the chance to regain 1st had to be coming off the last corner, just left it too late to go, .3 seconds too late

Loving my new setup in the 111R 👍

(ade - my podium photo is on it's way!!!!)

I had a good race at HSR, a bit of a struggle in the first laps battling with jimftr. I think we had one or two contacts but no big thing I hope. I bet Omnius was happy with us battling, he pulled away by as much as 5 or 6 seconds. When I got away from jimftr I still couldn't catch Omnius but somehow I got out of the pits when he came down the straight, he slipstreamed by me but I managed to stay with him and could do the same on the next lap and get the win. Thanks ade for a well organized event.

Edit: Yeah I noticed that Omnius, my first thought was you had your gearing different but then I guessed that it was tactics. I was a bit scared in the last corner actually.

Well gents, that was fun. This Elise seems as easy on the tyres at HSR, as the S1 did. I chose to qualify on the hards, and was pleased with 6th on the grid. When the race started I managed to hold good pace, battling with Dowlin and Hasslemoff. But then Shin_roh came from nowhere, and I think we had small contact which resulted in a spin for us both. I waited for Shin to carry on, as I felt that I should have seen him earlier. Well done to all the podium sitters.

I will post the whole results from this race tomorrow. Big thanks to all who took part tonight.

Edit: Note to Cobrius. I had to knock you up a quick podium pic. At least Sweden beat England tonight.

Hmmmm, perhaps my setup wasn't very good, i was setting 1:11.xxx's with the hards a few weeks ago, then again, i did have a few beers beforehand haha. Oh well, 3 podiums is fine by me. :) Nice racing cobrius. I was surprised by the durability of the tyres, maybe starting on mediums would have been a better idea.

Loving my new setup in the 111R 👍

Give us a clue :sly:, I need to get a set up sorted only had time to quickly change the transmission tonight, I'll hopefully get a setup sorted for the series.

Luckly I avoided the incident, closed my eyes when I seen all the smoke :)

Had some good little battles during the race, nice close racing.

Good race, well organised event looking forward to the rest cheers Ade.

Haha! Gahhhh! Another race and another fail on the first lap!

Dammit! That was shaping up to be a good old battle that was! Felt like I could of pulled a nice big gap early doors with everyone squabbling behind me. Pushed just a little too hard at the end of lap one and turned my car around though :( And continued to do so another 3 or 4 times. Grrr!

That incident with myself, Ade, Dowlin and hasslemoff was hilarious though. Especially when watched from hasslemoffs point of view! Start of lap four you guys were all fighting for position, it helped me catch up but I was on the mediums while you lot were on the hards anyway. Would of been heroic if I'd pulled off the move lol, three positions gained in one corner! But alas, it wasn't to be. Carried so much more speed and had to aim for an Elise sized gap in between Ade and Dowlin. Ade twitched to the right just as I was passing and BOOM! Down and out!

Appreciate you stopping Ade but wasn't necessary 👍 Racing incident and nothing more. Jolly good sport though chap. Thanks again :) Was lots of fun regardless of where I ended up :D
