The pit menu defaulting to no action for tyres and not allowing you to revert the change before the car gets to the box!!
And no weather radar during pitstops. On courses like Sarthe, that could determine the tyre choice. But no, we get left in the dark about the passing clouds during a 45 second stop, possibly coming out on the wrong tyres and need to make an additional stop. The pit menu defaulting to no action for tyres and not allowing you to revert the change before the car gets to the box!!
Hey, PD added a tiny zoomed out track map with full sized car/player icons to the pit UI so you can see a blob of blue arrows move around the circuit as you wait because we really needed that. And no weather radar during pitstops. On courses like Sarthe, that could determine the tyre choice. But no, we get left in the dark about the passing clouds during a 45 second stop, possibly coming out on the wrong tyres and need to make an additional stop.
F'ing horrible choice not to keep the radar active during stops.
In GT Sport we had the SR indicator online in every sector which essentially functioned like a "CRB" indicator as anything except a green SR up (nothing and orange SR down being the alternatives) meant no CRB.Another thing PD should add:
A CRB indicator so players know the're getting crb or not.
Specially for tokyo wtc600. You never trully know if you are getting crb or not. You can touch another car and think you are not getting crb, only to get it in the end.
An crb indicator would be very helpfull with that
I was thinking more like some icon in the corner of the screen that disappears if you loose the crbIn GT Sport we had the SR indicator online in every sector which essentially functioned like a "CRB" indicator as anything except a green SR up (nothing and orange SR down being the alternatives) meant no CRB.
A great function removed for no apparent or obvious reason, it only made the game better.
You've got the entire duration of your previous lap to look at the weather radar. Keep it zoomed out all the way so you can see what's coming. If you're making your tire decision when you're in pits, you're doing something wrong. And no weather radar during pitstops. On courses like Sarthe, that could determine the tyre choice. Not really. You can have no rain on the radar on pit entry and rain on the radar by pit exit in any race with dynamic weather. On a track like Le Mans where the pit stops take so long, this is even more of an issue. In the 700pp race at le Mans with the time sped up as much as it is, I've had a dry track with no hint of impending rain be raining by the second corner after coming out of the pits and totally drenched by the end of Mulsanne. You've got the entire duration of your previous lap to look at the weather radar. I'll agree to the inability to back out, but still stand by my assertion on the ability to view the radar before you enter the pits. I've been running that same LeMans 700pp race quite frequently, and only once have I encountered rain when it was not already visible on the radar when passing the pits, and it wasn't until the very end of the long straight. Even then, the road takes some time to get wet enough to affect traction, so just "encountering rain" is not reason enough to switch to Inters or Wets. Not really. Of course, a radar wouldn't necessarily make much difference by itself, as once you've selected your tyres you can't go back and change you selection no matter what happens on the weather radar. But that's just due to stupidity. There's no reason pressing circle after choosing your tyyres can't take you back to the tyre choice before the car has stopped.
Fair enough, however I've seen that track go from dry to wet enough to need inters or even wets well within a single lap plenty of times. It depends a lot on how heavy the rain is and as the time is sped up the effect is sped up dramatically. Of course, we're taling about a single event on a single track here, so be it my experience or yours, the impact on the game as a whole isn't huge. But there's little reason I can think of not to allow the radar to show in the pits or go back to the tyre selection if needed. All having those things will do is improve the experience for the occasions they will really prove their worth without negatively impacting anything else.I'll agree to the inability to back out, but still stand by my assertion on the ability to view the radar before you enter the pits. Feel the weather. Be one with the weather. ShanananananananaaaaaNot really. You can have no rain on the radar on pit entry and rain on the radar by pit exit in any race with dynamic weather. Not really. If the radar stays visible during stops, you have more time to decide what tyres you should take. A pitstop at Sarthe takes 43 seconds, tyres and fuel. The first 30 seconds of that stop is just waiting for your car to appear at your box. During that time, you have to decide on your tyre choice, without knowing what the weather is doing. Keeping the radar on during stops limits that time to 10-13 seconds, with knowing what the weather is doing. You've got the entire duration of your previous lap to look at the weather radar. Would be okay but old one is better.I was thinking more like some icon in the corner of the screen that disappears if you loose the crb
Ah yes, that guy. 🤣 That’s one of my favorite race for my European FR cars partly because of him.The friggin kamikazee driver in the 3.0 CSL ‘73 in the European FR Challenge 550 😳🫣😂🤣 Has anybody else seen/noticed this guy? I don’t own one personally but it can’t be that difficult to drive can it? It’s gotta be some kind of bug (for him at least) the poor ai driver just can’t seem to keep it on the track for very long before he goes flying off in who knows what direction 🤔🤪🫣😂🤣 I do find it annoying but can’t help but laugh! 😉
Sounds like a seatbelt warning 🤣The new R32……….ding ding ding ding……….MAKE IT STOP!!! 😳🤪😂🤣 Sometimes I think PD takes this whole “realism” thing a little too far 🤔🙄

Couldn’t agree more 😁👍 (Oh, and the old RX-7 with that irritating whining noise it makes whenever the tach has ANY red in it at all 🤔😳)It’s grating.
What would be realistic? Having the option to pay Rupert or Clayton credits to disconnect it.
Same for the AE86.
(edited for wording)
Oh Really?!? Do tell……sorry I haven’t tried the whole engine swap thing yet but if it will get rid of that whining RX-7 noise then I’m ALL FOR IT 🤔😲🫣😂🤣😉Sounds like a seatbelt warning 🤣
Also the rx7 if you ref in the red it piep all the time but that get fixed after swaping the engine.
