This season, it just gets better and better. The feels, man. It's about time Scootaloo was given her own episode, plus the support from Rarity, AJ and Dash was great. The way they interacted proves how much closer they are as friends this season. Loved how they brought up past events from season one, and Rarity's embarrassment ('Dat ponytail :3). Rainbow Dash asking if Scoots snored, and then snoring like a HOERS was hilarious. Still laughing at that even now.

And Luna becoming a dream invader makes that 3 episodes this season that have had fanon interpretations to some extent. Cool to see her back again, anyway.

Because feeeels.

Anyone else think Pinkie Pie's character in the first Zicora episode was a little...off. I mean, we now know that not only she always eager to meet new people and make new friends no matter who or what they are, but she also has this weird knowledge of mystical stuff that would suggest that she's heard of Zebras before AND witch doctors. Seems to me like she should have been the first one to talk to Zicora...but maybe her granny told her to avoid witch doctors.

You can say the same thing about Pinkie's knowledge of the magic mirror. She just... knows these things.

As for her not wanting to talk to Zecora, I'd just put it down to her having the same mindset as the other ponies. She not so different from them sometimes, you know.

This show can be so random at times. "Umm...yeah...by the way, Princess Luna has the power to enter ponies' dreams and help scare away their nightmares and stuff." And there really was no real point in Princess Luna being there other than to randomly give her that power. If you take out Princess Luna's involvement, you'd lose nothing. So it's a completely random thing. It's weird because only in a kids show can you get away with stuff like that and no one will care. If another type of show did that people would be complaining and spamming their blogs.

It does make sense though that the Princess of the Night can invade dreams. You have to give them that.

Anyway, my heart exploded when RD & Scoots got all cute & nuzzly.

Questionable but funny as hell nonetheless.

Yeah, it kinda does, but it's still a pointless random event that really had no true affect on the story at all. It was a GIR moment. (For those unfamiliar with Invader Zim: GIR was the "sidekick" to Invader Zim and really had no real purpose other than comic relief...and he didn't try to be anything else. Most of the times he appeared on screen were completely random and useless and had no baring on anything let alone the story.)

Then again, Lauren Faust comes from that era of cartoons where there were a LOT of random stupid scenes that didn't effect anything. Heck, the two big projects Lauren was apart of before, Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends had a lot of randomness to them, and you can REALLY see some of the stuff she learned from those shows in MLP.

A GIR moment isn't really a bad thing. GIR was great character because he was completely random and served no real purpose and didn't try to be anything else. The fact that Princess Luna can enter dreams was probably something Lauren and the other writers wanted to mention, and this provided that opportunity, but I think making it a more complete part of the story would've been weird, so leaving as kinda of a "oh by the way, Luna can do this," and not have it really affect the main story was a great idea...and it acted as filler.

All in all, a great episode. No complaints...just laughs.
