I don't understand why some people still are thinking it's not true, even with the official sources and virtual confirmation.

Think of it this way; It wouldn't be any better if it turned out that Hasbro were trolling the community like this and the news was just a joke. I'm fairly sure that would piss a number of people off.

First of all, welcome to the thread RD.


Secondly, I can't really say it's a stupid move with the information we currently have. Faust said that the change wasn't part of her initial plan (which she hasn't disclosed), but the same can be said about Cadance's appearance too, which we all know turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

I actually hope the confidence I've seen in the Tweets from M.A. Larson and Meghan McCarthy posted today is well placed. It seems to suggest that the finale will be much better than everyone expects it to be.

That's exactly why I think most people are upset about it. Along with the fact that they throw out such major spoilers like they're nothing.

But the creators are far from childish. If you've ever seen such OCs, they tend to have the same silly traits and unimaginative back-stories (there are a few exceptions, mind) which fans simply look down upon. To think that that is what we'll end up with is a rather presumptive, especially when they have proven experience when it comes to creating stories. They know what they're doing, and they're clearly confident that they'll pull it off.

The creators are humans & humans can & will make mistakes. I hope they don't botch this but if it's all happening in a 22 minute episode leaves me doubting. Now if Spoil-t is correct & they'll have Celestia drop the bomb shell at the end picking up with it with a 2 part season opener then I'll have high hopes.

Aw, Sky lost the contest. But the fact that she got in the top 15 from 900+ contestants is still awesome. Still, feeling a bit sad... oh well, maybe next time.

I think the Solar Sisters are preparing for something big. They brought back Discord and reformed him, so he can be on their side. And what was that mysterious black book with stars in the end of the second episode?

That's obviously the only time Cadance will ever out-power Celly.
