^The word "clop-fiction" are in the article, it's going to get messy.
I haven't even read any of her stories but I'm reading the interview anyway just because of the praise most of her stories seem to get.
EDIT: Reading that interview still, but I just got to this point:
"I call it colt canoodling myself!"
I...laughed...so hard.

EDIT: That was a good read.
I might just have to check out one of her stories when I get the chance.

@Noob616: If you want proof for yourself you could always try a photo editor and just play with the brightness, color temperature, and contrast it should be much clearer.

Yeah that helps, I have trouble with purple and blue and seeing different shades of it. For example, go to Azuremen's car thread. His M3 is purple, but I see it as dark blue.

And its pretty obvious that some of the people read to that part of the first sentence and immediately started bitching.

ButterSc0tchSundae is an interesting writer. She writes borderline clop (and, occasionally, "sitting on the border and laughing at you" clop) stories, but she pretty clearly doesn't write them just for the sake of doing it. She has an idea for how she wants to use the characters, and she writes the stories around ways that they would feasibly act in the situations she puts them in, and she does a damn good job of it.

I admit that I have read a few of her stories (because I stumbled across one on accident and I liked her writing style enough to put up with the content), and the ones I have read (not even counting The Party Never Ended) have been worth the read even though I am really uneasy with the concept behind them (bet you can't guess how uncomfortable this post is for me to type up).

If I had to call them anything, I would say that they are probably analogous to mini romance novels. Occasionally smutty ones, yes, but even then the smut factor is not remotely the point behind their authorship.

New BoTS is up.

Hah hah Gravekeeper, I caught up in my reading before you could trip me up.

*goes to read it*

Edit:
How does one measure love? Objectively, I mean. A profound question to say the least, but one which is ultimately futile because Twilight was so lost in thought thinking about it that she walked into a mailbox.

She's approaching the problem like Data from Star Trek: TNG would, and it is funny as all hell.

^Going to read that now.

And now for something completely different:
I went on a photo shoot with Fluttershy's new Evora.

My DA Gallery

I feel really happy with the results on this one. I tried to do something with the headlights for the eye's, but I had to either make them massive, or have her in rage mode, so I just went without them figuring it was enough.
Also, it's a little subtle, but I colored around the inside of the front bumper to match the color of her mouth when she's smiling, and I also added her nose around the Lotus emblem.

I'll only post one of Trixie's since you've all seen the car itself:

My DA Gallery

I think the violet rim around the front grill is superfluous, but otherwise the Fluttershy is pretty boss, yo.

Equestria's universe is contained inside a glass bubble hanging around Pinkie's neck. Either that, or a cardboard box in her closet.
Isn't Pinkie just the most fun character to write ever?

There was a point when I was finishing up Chapter 2 that I didn't even care how much of an impact writing Pinkie gags into the story was having on the plot. I just kept putting more in and went back and made them fit the story later.

The Fluttershy Lotus is awesome! I'd laugh if I got passed by it in an online race and read the caption.

can people help me out with two things:
1. what is with the 20% cooler saying? Or is it something to do with one of the episodes, in which case dont spoil the episodes for me
2. can I have a link to the fan fiction?

Again, I like what you've done with the design, although I have to say that I prefer the 'Ultimate Trixie' one you did the other day.

Anyway, I just finished reading TBoTS part 13, which I think was another great installment:

The Giggling and Powerful Trixie, that's what I'll refer to her as from now on.

Also, silly Trixie, Pinkie Pie doesn't teleport, she's just omnipresent. Everpony knows that!

Thanks for the comments on the car.
Not entirely sure who I'm doing next, but I do no I need money.

I just got to the part in TBoTS where Trixie defended Twilight when she embarrassed herself.
God dammit I love both of them so much it's starting to worry me a little.

The story were discussing currently: The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle.

Also, since you weren't around for it you should know that Gravekeeper is actually the author of the story.

Taking a quick break from the story because a friend just linked this to me:

Oh gawd the lulz:lol:

Congratulations MintBerryCrunch on the 5000th post here and to get it as your 1000th post's pretty cool.
That Fluttershy Evora  it makes me want to get an XBox just so I can drive it.

Gravekeeper, I'm going to catchup on TBoTS today, I've got 4 chapters to read now and I can't wait (well I have to because I need to do some stuff for my dad).

Toro, I might get a skyline and copy your design... that is if you don't mind.

Who here is reading the Fallout Equestria series, or listening to it? Some brony has started recording the stories. They are long but are quite good to listen to while driving.

Thanks, Brando.

Anyway, I just wanted to comment on something in the story really quick:
“Ah mean yeah, they do, but it's kinda cute...?"
I agree whole heatedly with Applejack.
They're insanely adorable together.

EDIT:
That was the most entertaining thing I've done all week.
I would say "Keep up the good work, Gravekeeper", but I don't think I need to worry about that.👍

And then I spent 20 freaking minutes typing up a response to a particularly ass comment on that article.

I would say I need help, but I use to do that all the time back in the day, so perhaps it is a sign of improvement that I don't do it as often anymore.

It's like you have free reign to let your most absurd thoughts flow into your writing--and it'll be perfectly in-character for her.
Why thank you, Pinkie. I'd love to take that opportunity to lean on the fourth wall. How nice of you to ask.

No problem, though I was going to give them all away as prizes for the thing this weekend.

Honestly, it kinda scares me. And its daunting as hell, considering I also need to drag up the time to read Memories of Days Long Past.

Edit:
Make off-hand comment about being surprised "A-MARE-ica, **** Yeah!" wasn't in the 4th of July newspost.
Seth puts it in the newpost "due to popular demand."

So that's still going ahead, good to know. I just hope I'm able to race, on Sunday morning I have to do some stuff at approximately 7pm - 11pm Saturday NY time. (I'll let you US people figure out the other times over there.) I guess I'll just have to see.

While the fallout series is long the audio book version makes good traveling noise or even sitting at the computer noise. I chose to listen to it because I'm not a fan of reading things on the computer screen and what I do read I print beforehand. The fallout series is too long to print with my printer and because of that I'd never end up reading it.

Even though I have quite a bit of spare time on my hands (hooves) nowadays, reading Fallout: Equestria would take a hell of a long time for me to read all of the way through. I might try and make a start on it soon though, but it's not really a top priority at the moment.

Also Toro, have you come up with a time frame for that GTP Bronies GT5 event yet?

If I had to pick just one of the two stories, I know which one I would choose. And it wouldn't be the one where the mere concept, the mere inferences I can make from the concept, makes me crazy nervous about how dark it is. And Ponies crossed with Fallout certainly accomplishes that.

In other news: Knowing is half the battle!

That depends entirely on when everyone is available for one (or both) of the two events. I'm never not wasting time, so its not an issue of when I can host it. I'll make a thing about it in the GTP Bronies area.

I really need to remember to refresh pages like that Interview when I get back from somewhere.
I just made some comment that was about 2-1/2 hours too late, and now I look stupid.

On a note that makes me feel less like an idiot. And more like someone with a mental handicap.

Okay, GTPBronies, as you may have noticed, I´m currently in Mexico City. Without my computer :ouch:. That´s my condition for the following 3 weeks. That means:

1- I'm currenty writing this from a "Cafe Internet" (A place where you pay a small amount of money for using a computer). :dunce:

2- The fanfic is suspended for like a month, unit-one. :guilty:

3- My post production may fall to like 1%. :boggled:

4- I will need to you to get me updated when I get back.

5- Stupid import duty taxes. A $10 Fluttershy brushable sells for aproximately $20. Besides, her mane looks like a shoelace. :grumpy: I'll buy MLP merchandise as soon as I get back to Tijuana. Most stuff there is duty-free, that means I pay like $12 for Fluttershy at home. 👍

6- I got crayons, a pencil and a notebook, so I might work on stopping to suck so bad at drawing. Maybe. :indiff:
I'll try with a Fluttershy "Paper child". :)

And oh god Trixie sadfic is sad. Good thing I took Gravekeeper's advice to heart about reading crap while you write.

Edit: Oh god I just realized what happened in Boast Busters makes it even worse.

Edit 2: So much worse.

Edit 3: Why is this so sad?
Oh god there's a sequel. And its even sadder.
