And I remember the internet café thing back at the day,not having your own computer to work freely is really annoying,as for the import taxes,it doesn't surprise me,specially for areas like Latin-America where there is import charges for everything,which is also really annoying.

Having said that,I think that I will not go too much into MLP released merchandise,I have seen a couple of MLP branded things,but they don't do for me,the quality and the products themselves doesn't show any merit for purchase.

And I guess that I have to break my free fanfic week rule for today(again),TBoTS is quite important to the scene so its basically a must read(and if the case presents,and update for the psychological series and an update for TNTNE)

Which brings me to TBoTS,which was good,really good in fact,looking forward to the next episode.

Chocolate gets plenty of love in TBoTS,apart from that,Twilight seems to take the House route,and,after reading the last chapters,Twilight is kind of becoming like House(a House that doesn't have the slightest concept of love of course,and its explaining homo emotions of love towards Wilson*stay on target dammit*).

But having said that,its a good way to make a character like twilight evolve,from my point of view of course.

I'm not usually much of a fan of fanfiction stories, but "The Ballad of Twilight Sparkle" is great. I've watched the show enough that I'm reading everything in the respective pony's voices, and it's well written. And Pinkie Pie brings the lulz.

God dammit I love both of them so much it's starting to worry me a little.

Oh god there's a sequel. And its even sadder.

Actually, it's not just reading other fics while currently typing a chapter... I've almost completely sworn off reading any fics other than Dangerous Business, and maybe a one-shot here and there.

Thanks brony! Funnily enough, a reader sent me a dramatic reading he did of one of my chapters, and he did his best to act out the voices of each character; it was really, really fun to listen to (I'd never heard a dramatic reading before)

Leave it to him to take my theorizing of Rarity seeing through the forest of illusions and turning it on its head by making AJ the truth-seer (and making it obvious in retrospect).

What makes this story so amazing for me is the sheer amount of story not yet told... Ponyville and Canterlot as just two important but small places in an entire world. And according to Falalauria, saving Twilight is not going to be the end of the story, what with our trio unleashing some blight upon the world, which I'm guessing is what's causing the komaga to panic?

Are we perhaps merely on chapter 15 of the first book in a longer series? Are we going to see Twilight, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie answer the hero's call as well?

I did the connection,however I'm not so sure about the background of it or if it is the correct one,I will say anyway:

That's sort of the connection,if it its the right one,then it makes sense,specially considering Dmitri's image which is somehow similar to Rarity(in mind mind of course).

However,is incredibly likely that is the wrong connection.

Oh, absolutely. I would never have the balls to write that in a story, because I know people would see it for what it was. So when he not only puts it in the story, but writes the story in a way that practically demands he use that line...

And then it works flawlessly.

Rarity's mane is basically the same color as Twilight's (a tiny bit more red in it). The only difference is that Rarity's is shaded as well (the only pony in the show with shaded hair, I think), so it is progressively lighter on the inside than it is on the outside.

Really? I see Twilight's as purple (admittedly, I'd probably see it as blue if Twilight wasn't purple herself), but Rarity's as blue.



I can see what you mean though, the inside of it is much darker, and looks exactly like Twilight's mane, but I see the outside of it (lighter) as blue.

Well, Rarity's is a tad lighter, and a tad more purpleish than Twilight's (which I would say is a really dark blue rather than a purple).


I have no idea how I could describe the shading in Rarity's mane, though. Its not really darker on the inside so much as it color shifts into a shade of red (almost to the point of being as red as Pinkie's hair), but I don't know if that helps you any.

Yeah, my eyes can't pick up red very easily, I don't see any red in Rarity's hair at all. This is probably one of those times where I'm just going to have to call it blue and not really know what colour it really is. The problem is that what I'm calling blue you're able to call "purpleish" or "reddish", because you see a wider range of red, for me it's either blue, red, or purple, I can't really see much "ish"

Apparently her main is indeed indigo,what creates confusion its the detail in the inner segments of her main which is a purple->Black colour effect,its really complicated to determinate if indeed the colour of her hair is Indigo,however my personal opinion is that is composed with Red/Blue/Back spectrum so Indigo,Purple,Violet might be valid,one of the main characteristics that the best pony has.

Well, now that I look at the shading in her hair, I can tell that Rarity is going to consume a considerable amount of time compared to the Fluttershy and Trixie cars I made so far.

Speaking of which, I was thinking of an Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, or V12 Vantage(one of the Vantages anyway, the hood on the V12 could prove problematic) for her.
It's got the 3 things most important to Rarity; beauty, power, and grace.
Then again, I'm not too sure an Aston would look too good in white.
EDIT: Just checked, they look fantastic in white I take that back.
Thoughts on this idea?

What if when season 2 rolls around Trixie comes back as some huge bitch?
I mean, I will always love Trixie and Twilight no matter what, but I just really want the canon Trixie to be like the TBoTS Trixie(with a slightly less.... romantic relationship between her and Twi....if only because it's still a kid show).

I could see Twilight's hair being called a really dark purple, but I just don't see any red in it. It looks almost like Navy Blue to me.

The problem being that when I look at the vectors in the gallery I can tell that they aren't all colored the same, but I can't compare what they are supposed to be to what they are on the show because I have the 720p set on my PS3 (and I know that the colors aren't right in that video set either).

For example, compare this one (which is, in my opinion, rather blatantly a navy blue):

To this one (which I could definitely see why people would call it purple, though I'd still lean towards blue):

One thing I like about GT5 in that respect: Midnight Purple Pearl III paint chips practically fall out of the sky, and they are almost perfect.

So of course the logical thing to do was paint a car with slab-sides to you couldn't even see the color shift.

I think if I were to see the colour of Twilight's mane I'd see it as more similar to Rarity's. However, when I see so much purple in Twilight's coat, then the rest of her looks purple too. I don't get the same thing with Rarity because of her white coat.

I see it as that purple/violet (the inside of her mane). I don't fully understand what you guys mean by red though. I can sort of see it and I know it partially makes up purple, I just struggle to see it.
The outside is definitely between purple and blue, more on the purple side though.

Actually this might describe it link. About half way down the page is a description of the colours that make up the mane (well colours that are close to rarities mane).

They wouldn't do that.

There would be no point to bringing her back from a literary point of view if she wasn't different (or trying to become different) as a character, because the Mane Six would react to her the same way as they did the first time and they would just end up writing Boast Busters again. That goes for Gilda as well.



Prince Douche is a little different in that regard, because his status could make him a legitimate foil for Rarity regardless of if he ever learned anything.

Sort of a lightish prussian blue, purple streak and magenta streak. Purple eyes, a sort-of pinkish coat, the exact name escapes me

Third pic:
A grayish, faded indigo mane, purple streak, magenta streak. Purple eyes, a light lavender coat, definitely less red in it than the second pic.

Seconded,in fact I also thought the same thing(how can you download the pics from FM3?,It requires gold membership?,its says something about going online and download from some page or something),The DB9 is the best option,I also had the same Idea with the Maserati GT,the shape its more sharp and crisp and goes along with Rarity personality(from my point of view,and with metal white of course).

As for the MLP colours,it depends really,it depends on how you watch it,where you watch it and in what you watch(that sounded weird),Everyone uses different RGB values for the creation of the palettes,Vector images uses similar colour scheme from the show,but not the colour scheme itself,the video output and even each TV's colour setting also influences,even Video converters,and image editors(I got an LG screen with a 360 outputting at 720p using WMV format)and I see Twilight's Hair within the Black/Red/Black colour spectrum with black as predominate colour,so define the colour in itself its ambiguous(how can you describe R=111,G=0,B=255 ).

They probably wont do that,however a Trixie comeback can be expected,unlike Gilda,she didn't had a clear ending or closure(according to the show's plot parameters),and some of her facets weren't elaborated quite well,but of course I can be wrong,specially for a character that had about 5 minutes of appearance in the show,which puts her in the same appearance level of the dragon in the Dragonshy episode.

I'd agree with this (with the exception that I see a lot more pink in the second image than I do in the first one).

I want to say that the most accurate one would fall between the first image and the second image (leaning fairly closer to the second one), but that is an opinion based entirely from memory of what it looks like when I watch the show on TV rather than watch the 720p set (which, as you can see from the screen grab I made of it, has faded colors and a slightly odd tint to everything).

Anyway, looking at this, I'm leaning towards purple.

Also, I doubt they will do what I said with Trixie, but still, the possibility of it is something I don't like.
On a more positive note; I wonder what the odds are on her showing up early in the season and joining the main cast, because if done right that could be the greatest thing to happen since the show started.

Hahah, I can't believe what I've started, but these kinds of things always bother me.
