I live in Hawaii and there is like no Bronies here... I felt so isolated. I couldnt resist any longer and I finally decided to make contact with my fellow Bronies. My brother is the only other Brony I know of. He made me watch the whole season to try and make me become a Brony too. Little did he know I had already watched the whole season
I merely ask because if that first half of the image is based on who has the closest friendships (which is what it appears to be implying), then I honestly can't agree with it.
Specifically Rainbow Dash and Applejack's.
Not sure if fanfic or anime related (that anime with the Zodiac theme, dumb memory),and trust me,you dont want to see how it goes after that one(or maybe kind of,if you like the Twilight/Trixie fanfic Grimdark-shipping ).
I actually asked about those a few Drawfriends ago. Apparently, the artist is just making up the story with them as he goes along. Pretty cool, I think, though I have no idea what the hell is going on.
Edit: Suddenly, an explosion in updates from stories that I follow.

Always nice to see new people around GTPlanet...especially Bronies.
Now that that's out of the way you should know 2 things.
1. we have almost 1gb of images organized into different categories here.
2. Twilight is mine....you can't have her.
Here's something interesting, a Brony Timeline listing the major events that have occurred since the fandom began. I actually watched my first MLP episode around the time that ED reached 1 million page views, these past 4 months have just flown by.

Actually,I was initially thinking about the conflicts between them, then I realized of the actual accuracy of the "closest friends"(hence the second "I got thinking"),however I will say that AJ refers more to Twilight than she does to RD,but then there is Fall weather friends episode,so the diagram can be a bit ambiguous in that regard, apart from that,I think that is based more on the series as a whole, and I have to say that sadly Pinkie Pie doesn't have a pony that can be qualified as closest friend, making her is a bit lonely, something that makes me a bit sad.

In regards to Dash, I can't pair her with Pinkie because there were several episodes where I got the distinct impression that she didn't really like Pinkie. For example, see the first two episodes of the show, where Dash spends most of her time being annoyed by Pinkie's anitics. Or the first half of Griffon the Brush Off, where she doesn't seem to really care about what Pinkie's up to until the episode's climax and Gilda was unmasked as the bitch she was.
On the other hand, there are the events of Party of One and Over a Barrel, but that may be a result of episode chronology.
I think Applejack being Dash's best friend (and vice versa) is much more straightforward. Even in the pilot AJ went out of her way several times to keep Dash from getting in trouble/hurt, and AJ doesn't really seem to mind Dash's laziness that much as much as she complains about it.
From Dash's perspective, she seems to trust AJ to help her more than she trusts the rest of the Mane Six (for example, asking Applejack for help with her tricks in Applebuck Season). Most notably, when they are around each other they generally just act like they are old friends who have known each other longer than the rest of the Mane Six have (for example, basically the entirety of Fall Weather Friends, or the similar scenes that happened in The Ticket Master, where the two of them keep playing off of each other).
Plus there are the similarities in the personalities that the two have.
^Right, so I just sat here for 5 minutes thinking of something to add to this conversation, but I agree entirely with Toro, and I can't think of much to say that wouldn't just be re-wording what he already said.
EDIT:
This is just awesome.
And this is beautifully done.
EDIT:Nevermind

EDIT: Wow, someone actually did a candle-jack crosso......
I was working on a long-winded reply in regards to that Closest Friends/Conflict Episodes image, but there isn't really any point in me posting it because what I was going to say has already been discussed.
Anyway, all the Ponies in this town are crazy! (well the Mane 6 are at least)
OK, I know I said I was going to bed, but the Bronies Facebook page updated and I was watching the videos when I found this;
This is my favorite thing in the entire world.

Well, agreed,it pretty much sums up enough reason to consider Rainbow Dash and Applejack as "closest friends",there is not too much to add into that couple, the same can be said about Rarity and Fluttershy, both of them show strong emotional support to each other and they apparently expend quite a lot of time together, this is proven in several episodes(Suited For Success/Stare Master/Green Isn't Your Color),making this couple a pretty obvious one.
However, while this stands correctly for both couples,I just simply cannot see Pinkie Pie and Twilight as "closest friends",which brings me to the continuation of something I was commenting previously and is this:
...and I have to say that sadly Pinkie Pie doesn't have a pony that can be qualified as closest friend, making her is a bit lonely.
Apart from that,Twilight don't have a close relationship with any of the ponies, but she does show some interest on Applejack, however while this relationship is a bit closer comparing it with other ponies,is not concrete,or as solid as the relationship between AJ and RD,apart from that, she doesn't have any interest(apparently) in Fluttershy or Rarity,Twilight sees Pinkie as an object of study(in one episode only)and doesn't present much interest on her in the other episodes.
On the Pinkie Pie side of things,is more complicated because she is so random, and seems to have an equal appreciation on all ponies, however she presents some concerts over Twilight every now and then, but I don't know, and I don't find both characters hanging out together as other couples.
Which makes me think that all 6 characters cannot be distributed into 3 couples, just 2 "couples" and 2 individuals:
Time to sleep, and amazingly no one post anything in a 2 hours frame, that is a new record for this thread, maybe everyone got busy, its Wednesday after all, apart from that,it seem that I become about 20% more efficient when there is no so much pony-related stuff bombarding me,I guess that I have to take MLP a bit more softer in the next few days in order to be competent enough.
Anyway kind of massive post, and about to get bigger, additional pics I found, music theme this time:
Well the internet has disappointed me with it's lack of poinified ODST Rainbow Dash. I mean c'mon, ODSTs are the coolest thing in scifi, Dash is the coolest thing in existence. Y U NO combine them internet?
Best I could find is this...even though I have no plans to include the chief:
Also started reading Falout:Equestria again. It seemed to pick up and get exciting at exactly two sentences after I got bored of it. At the point where Little Pip massacres some raiders, pretty grim description of Ponyville dere.
Lil Pip does that a lot, it seems everyone she has contact with dies. I need to listen to more of that story. I might do that now actually, because I'm going to keep playing fallout 3.
Then later on I might read some more fan fic chapters I printed out last week, they're waiting to be read.
It actually inspired me to continue a profile in New Vegas. As of now, I've doubled my level and I'm going to play until I'm finished. Thanks, My Little Pony. You have inspired me to continue playing a game about life after a horrible apocalypse.

I wanted her and AJ to be squad leaders, so far the role seems to be fitting. I'd like to think she'd be on the ground taking the fight into her own hooves rather than strafing a target from above.
It's more the story told in the books and trailers than in the actual games themselves.
Also Urban Dictionary nutshelled bronies for me:
Typically refers to 13-30 year old male fans of the 2010 reboot of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but may also include females (see fillies).
Brony = Bro + Pony
While generally associated with a negative stereotype by outsiders, due to it's former 80's frilly girly-girl twinkle-toed tea-parties and all-female main casting, bronies are attracted to the new show by it's good animation, acting, writing, and humor.
Having once been on the outside, bronies can love and tolerate others until they themselves become bronies. However, haters gonna hate— most likely due to the fact that they have a masculinity inferiority complex, where they believe that if they watched My Little Pony, others like them will label them as an effeminate freak.
Phase 1) Are you joking? How can adult males watch a show for girls?
Phase 2) Pfft. I'll see what all the fuss is about, maybe make fun of the show.
Phase 3) Meh. It was okay. It wasn't that bad, I'll give it that.
Phase 4) It's actually kind of funny and entertaining.
Phase 5) I take back everything bad I've said! This is AWESOME! ...but I'd be ruined if anyone found out...
Phase 6) Friendship is Magic! Screw it! I'm a brony!
Phase 7) I'm dead serious, you should watch My Little Pony, too.
Hater) You guys are all gay freaks... I'll never watch that. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to jerk off while lifting weights and playing video games all day to pretend to be a man.
I'd say that description of bronies is right however I can't seem to label my friends. They know a little about the show but they don't want to watch it. And the aren't haters. What does that make them?
One of my friends likes Derpy, however he knows she doesn't get seen much in the show so he won't go out of his way to watch it. I gave the other 10 episodes today and hopefully he'll watch them tonight, that's the kind of thing he does. I mean he watched the entire live action version of sailor moon and loved it so why wouldn't he like MLP?
Using the power of sheer contempt I managed to trick my sister into becoming a Brony.
And while ordinarily I would question how that counts (as she is a 10 year old girl and thus is basically the target demographic anyways), she is such an overwhelming tomboy that I still say it does.
For example, its been a while since I saw a straight up "everything bad happens to Dash" story, let alone one with the triple whammy of [GrimDark][Shipping][Sad]. And I know that I don't want to read the one that went up last night, but I also know that I don't have a good enough of an excuse to not read it that I won't end up reading it anyways.
When I converted 2 of my friends it was all thanks to me watching every single episode while they were sitting next to me.
Although, one of my friends reverted to stage 3. He say's he didn't like Appplebuck season, and he hasn't watched past that one on his own. When I asked why....he said he hates Applejack's voice......we're not friends anymore....
(Just kidding, but I was still disappoint.)
One of my other friends is kind of funny with being a hater.
He called My Little Pony "gay" while he was watching a Wrestling; because sweaty men groping each other in their underwear is MANLY! Nothing against wrestling or it's fans, but how can you watch that and still honestly call MLP "gay"?
Well you do need to be dedicated to read such a long fanfic. I think that if I started reading it soon, I would probably end up reaching the final part around the same time that MLP season 2 begins, seriously. I'm aware of the Audio Book version of Fallout: Equestria, but if I did decide to give this story a go, I'd prefer to read it.
