I knew it was something I've read, although it's been nearly 2 months since I looked at the first part of Allegrezza, so it would have taken me a while to connect that small quote with the actual story.


Also, I kind of knew that someone would make this eventually:

I knew it was funny, I looked at it and though "That's funny, right there." but not even a chuckle. I don't know, even as a joke Twilight in a situation like that bothers a part of my brain. I guess in a way that's good news. At least some small part of my brain is still normal.



Also, Allegraza is great so far. I'm looking forward to reading the next part, which won't be tonight because I feel like 🤬 and won't be tomorrow because I've got stuff to do and might be over a friends house that night. I would have chosen a less obvious hint, but all the others that weren't impossibly obscure were way too obvious due to using an obvious pun, a name, or some other dead giveaway.

Chapter 2 of To Fix You was creepy as hell.

It was uncanny, the sort of uncanny that I like, but it wasn't as well written as that Pinkie breakdown Dischord fic, that is for sure.

Deus ex machina of choice, but for me it seems legit.

I like that build up, pretty adequate without resorting to silliness and overdrama(not that much drama), using the environment elements seems to be the best way to do it instead of obnoxious dialogue, which is where similar fics fail to accomplished(but this on itself can be contra productive, in this case it isn't but it should be acknowledged that people have made mistakes when using the environment elements as narrative element).

I actually quite like how he threw up that new image for the story now that I think about it. It reminds me a lot of the spoiler-filled Past Sins preview image regarding how it sets up your expectations and then fulfills them, but in a completely different way than you expected.

Well, I just popped in to ask you guys a question. The guys I work with, ArcadeBoxTV, spent the weekend playing for 24 hours straight for Extra-Life, a children's hospital donation drive. We've managed to raise a bit of money, and we were thinking of doing yet another gaming marathon (donation drive ends mid-November). We wanted to perhaps involve the brony community in some way when we did the repeat.

What do you think would be the best way to go about that? What games should we play, for example, or how could we bug Seth about it (I do believe CoffeeGrunt already got the ball rolling there)

Give me one day or two to came up with a good answer for that, I got my head around about that yesterday and I think I have a couple of ideas, but they might need to go under some considerations.

Gravekeeper, you did it again. The Ballad is heading into an interesting direction.



Before going to bed I have to say that I didn't expect a dark-themed tumblr for AppleJack, and I didn't expect that it goes Emo, and actually makes me think that a paralel pony world is being created around those tumblrs(Pinkamina/Rarity/AJ tumblrs refers to each other?). My brain is kind of trashed today and tomorrow will be in about the same shape(due to that stupid logic implemented to the BF2 bots).

This one is a pretty good, well-defined TNTNE-style with a rather major twist:
Twilight is NMM's 2IC, and Trixie is the one leading the resistance (or, rather, taking Twilight's place as Element of Magic while AJ leads the resistance).



It has a really abrupt ending (though it may be getting a sequel, because the author has ideas but wasn't expecting such a positive reaction), but other than that (and a bit of a description oddity surrounding the fight scenes) it is really good.








Well, in the end I only managed to read through three stories today, not counting Ballad. Still, that's three tabs down. Also, Nick Nack was up to something with Chapter 6 of Heart of Gold, so I'm wondering whether the terrible waiting period may finally be over. Also also, my troll senses are tingling, and I almost want to change my Blogger avvy to something obnoxious just to piss off a certain frequent commenter who has his head so far up his ass that he deserves to be messed with.
