Anyway, about my shipmates finding out about me being a Brony. We were standing on the fantail about to launch the small boat when I hear MK2 say "Are you all ready, my little bronies". Now, he says jabronies once in a while anyway, but that kinda caught my attention. I quick glanced over and he was looking at me. It was then that I got kinda worried.

About an hour later when the sall boat got back and everyone was on board, I'm sitting there eating my dinner when the Chief on our boat says "So Smith, what is this..."brony" thing." Then I just kinda stared at the wall, MK2 just busted the 🤬 out laughing and then a long awkward explanation of what the show was and why I liked it followed.

It was cool though. They were messing with me about it but they made it clear they didn't really have an issue with it. Senior Chief actually played the intro song over the loud hailer. I laughed my ass off when that happened.


And they want me to wear a pony shirt into work tomorrow to prove I have them.

And all your civvy shirts are either pony or Deadmau5 anyway, so you'll have plenty to choose from when you prove it to those guys.

Do the "Cutey Mark Crusaders" ever get their Cutey Marks? Also, I do like how if it wasn't for Rainbow Dash, none of the main characters would have their cutey marks. But...I don't understand some of them...like Diamond Tiara? What kind of talent is wearing a diamond tiara? But...I guess that's one of the quirks of the show, huh? Some of the cutey marks make sense, others do not. Just like Zicora the Zebra rhymes for no particular reason...but she rhymes very well....even slant rhyming.

I saw the episode where the CMC almost got their marks, but they all did the wrong thing. And you're right DT's talent is being a jerk. lol. Which is weird 'cause her father is pretty cool for someone named Filthy.

I only ever liked one cosplay because the girl looked near identical to Rukia from Bleach. Other then that cosplay just makes me feel weird & turns me off instantly.

But just a few moments ago there were reports that a "potential" Season 3 air date of November 10th, according to Entertainment Weekly. Hasbro, nor The Hub have confirmed this yet, even though I'm willing to bet that they'll say the same date as EW.

It begins with a 2-parter centred around the Crystal Empire's return (anyone who knew about the spoilers up until now probably would have guessed that anyway, including myself).


Also, “very catchy and very, very cute” new songs, “the usual pop culture references,” and the reemergence of a certain unnamed fan favorite villain — who McCarthy says will return “in a very, very awesome way.”
