On a side-note: how much (immersion-wise) does a Buttkicker add to a bucket seat? Not exactly on-topic but well, figured I might ask in here. Also, does anyone know about a reliable european shop carrying them?

Adds a whole new feel to the driving experience. In fact it adds so much, I bought two Gamer2's. As to where to get one over there? Not a clue, sorry.

anyone know if i can remove the stupid warning sticks on the wheel and the pedals without voiding warranty?

thanks

Hi Fedex, sorry to jump your topic re sticker, did you had to change the power supply or use a transformer when you got yours (for australian ) when you got this from US amazon, or just simply changing the kettle cord that detach to the power block?

My 2 cents: the concept of the BK is great, but it was designed to work with a single post office-style chair with the vibration traveling directly through the centre post to your bum. The effect is significantly diminished when the BK is attached to a frame & then travels through the frame to a "suspended" seat. With my Playseat Evo, I find the vibration is felt more in the foot pedals than in the seat itself.

My BK is mounted at my back cross bar. I feel very good vibrations and thumps through my seat. My rig is welded solid though.

Gonna attempt a left and right effect this spring using Aura Shakers and a receiver.

A person could isolate the seat and rig mounting and come up with a mount to bottom of seat and really get some vibes.

BK settings for Sim Racing is no Cross over used. I am crossed over at 120 via receiver LFE. On BK amp I turn off both cross overs and it gives me much higher freq vibes. Almost those tingly ones. :)

I was reading this last week And was using the low pass and high pass at like 80-100.

Which this is good for MW3 usage. Which the BK and headphones makes that game Awesome awesome. Better then ever.

I think it adds to the immersion for sure . This way is a quick and easy fix to gain a rumble effect as it is very plug and play . It not all singing and dancing as some have done at this site but i am sure they could point you in the right direction if you wanted to spend a bit more time and not a whole lot more money to go a bit further .Also check the social groups.

I got mine from this company about a year ago . They are in Belgium but got it shipped to me in the UK 3 days later .

Btw: did anyone try to complete a 24h race in one go? I'm afraid of the whole thing overheating or blowing itself up, tbh.

Yeah i did Le Mans a while back , I stretched it over a weekend though , and i didn't switch it off at all .
This is the first time the fan went from silent to noisy at start up after about 12 hours into the race .
It didn't blow up though 👍

Might want to add a fan to my setup then. Ah well, even if it's blowing up: bought it less than 4 weeks ago at the time of the race. Hi Mr. Retailer, hand me the replacement, s'il vous plait.

I think I just broke my gas spring... oh crap

exactly like yours, Owens

Well Saturday night I had a serious problem develop with my pedals.

Here is a video that shows the failure.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1y0vOhuSa5w&feature=youtube_gdata_player

This happen about 10:15pm. I had one TIme Trial to complete by midnight. I was thinking how I am gonna fix this. So off of the cockpit come the pedals and I get them apart to access the problem. Seeing its a torsion spring. Knowing I don't have one not was any hardware stores open to search for one. So it hit me. My clutch is a gas if I invert these. So swap their locations and hit the invert button should work. Fast forward about 45 min. I got then switched and working. Bolted up and by 15 after 11 I was in Spa making laps.

Now the catch is my gas pedal feels good now. Before I had trouble off turns with throttle control. Seemed touchy. Now I know the old spring was week and prob broken for a bit. It makes sense. Much better throttle now. I assume the spring broke mid way and still worked for a while. Finally jumped the broken area and reduced the 0% spring tension to nothing.

Anyway. Gonna hit TM up today about warranty. Now that's a pedal issue and fan issue. These things are seriously subjective in quality.

I mount my pedals in GT-style (inverted)
SU1HMDI0NTMtMjAxMjAxMDgtMTUwOS5qcGc.jpg

and you can see the throttle is halfway through the travel, with no restriction except gravity.

Any suggestion how to resolve my issue here?

Not sure friend. I would start by finding a similar replacement spring.

Thanks for your suggestion, my friend.

Same as Owens, I need to access the spring first. Will it void the warranty?
I just emailed the tech support about this.

I've read there are two springs inside each pedals, the one Owens had was 1 broken and 1 almost broken (maybe crack?)

So, a small note for fellow T500 users:
Being able to be in 2 position (F1 & GT style), both throttle and clutch pedals have the same spring and tension. Check yours guys.. If you feel your throttle and clutch pedals don't have the same tension, you may cross your finger.
Feel it with your hand.

Owens, if you monitor this..
Is the failed spring looks like one of these?

Carson, what does this have to do with the T500?

I see your point Vince. Theirs been a lot of links for rigs, triple screens and set ups on here lately. I'm getting it mixed up with the thread for best man cave

A seen a picture or a t500 and g27 with the different size of wheel or rim whatever you call it but can't seem to find it again can someone re post it here ??
